I cannot recommend Dr. Van highly enough. I've never felt more comfortable with medical care/advice for my two children than i did with her. High EQ, super high IQ + data driven, and just cares about the wellbeing of the kids she sees. Not going to lie, our first appointment was borderline intimidating -- Dr. Van can sometimes speak fast, and drops a lot of knowledge on you in a very short period of time. But, she is extremely thorough and her standard of care is top notch -- exactly what your children deserve to help them thrive! I now have an even greater appreciation for this as we moved and had to switch providers multiple times. Sadly, I have yet to find someone that I feel is a thorough and knowledgeable as Dr. Van. I see some negative reviews about the office. But frankly, I never really had any issues on that front. and even if I did, I'd still recommend you run to Bee Well.

My kids are smitten with her-she has that "I-am-doing-what-I-was-born-to-do-and-I-love-it" quality/ "kid-whisperer" thing that is so rare to find in such a remarkably knowledgeable doctor. She is patient, genuine, thorough, kind, and her dedication to providing the best care for both kids and their worried parents is incomparable. (Another plus for us "worried parents" is that she utilizes their healthcare portal to provide resources and detailed information that was shared/promised during the visit-this will be so helpful if specialists are needed in the future). We love Dr. Van!!!! 10 stars!!!!

I had previously visited another ER a week prior where I was diagnosed with something mild, but I knew something wasn't right so again after my symptoms flared up again I decided to visit this Family Emergency Room in Georgetown. From the moment I arrived here, the experience was completely different in the best way possible. I was taken to the back in a timely manner, within 15 minutes of arriving, which was a stark contrast to other emergency rooms where I've waited hours, even while struggling to breathe! The receptionist immediately recognized the urgency of my situation, brought a nurse out to assess me, and ensured my emotional response was met with compassion and I was taken back quickly. Every staff member I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They listened carefully to my symptoms without rushing or dismissing my concerns, which is unfortunately something I've experienced elsewhere. I never felt like I was just another patient being pushed through a system. Instead, I felt heard and treated like a person who truly mattered. Within a short amount of time, they were able to properly evaluate, diagnose, and begin relieving my symptoms. Their efficiency, combined with their thoroughness, made a huge difference in my care and comfort. This clinic also offers testing capabilities that many other facilities do not and accepts a wide range of insurance plans, which is incredibly helpful. Dr. Valentini was especially helpful, professional, and reassuring throughout the entire process. I am beyond grateful for the level of care I received and would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone, no matter how minor or severe their symptoms may seem. I am confident they will provide the proper attention, compassion, and treatment you deserve!!

It's weird to love an ER this much. Here is why this place is the best:…read more -They operate like a full-service emergency room and are federally required to be treated as in-network for all *eligible* visitors (must actually be an emergency visit). Their billing person confirmed this. Their website has a lot of info about the billing process as well. -They are flexible and will work with you to negotiate your dues to get the accounts closed out. I was stressing about the bills but their super nice billing lady helped us out. -Open 24/7. I looked at other options that were technically deemed in-network for my insurance plan and some were closed on Sunday. One of our visits was on Easter too. Why even bother with another ER when this place will bill in-network anyway? -Amazing nurses and doctors. Everyone is really nice and patient and takes great care of you. We've been there 3 times since November. Twice for my little guy (he was 1 during our first visit). Nurses and doctors were so nice and patient with him (and he definitely screamed a lot). -It's never crowded or full of sickly people. Not sure if that's a sign they don't have enough business though? PLEASE GO HERE SO THEY DON'T EVER SHUT DOWN. -Easy parking. -There's a cemetery next door which leaves a chance to make a morbid joke upon your departure.

Came here early December 2025. I had gone to my OBGYN the day before going to Viks due to unnatural…read morebreast pain, swelling, & spreading redness. I left the OB completely freaked out (the on call doc when I went was absolutely awful) & not to mention, with no diagnosis or meds or anything at all. As someone who suffers from anxiety, I had a full blown anxiety attack for the next 24 hours. The following day I couldn't take it and came down the road to viks. Due to the intimate nature of my issue, I requested a female doctor but they told me they only had male; so I just took what I could get, not a huge deal. Front desk was fairly nice, filled out the papers, and they took me back fairly quickly. My doctor was Dr. Mcalasdair (apologies if i spelled that wrong). While I did originally want an ultra sound, he attempted talking me out of it. We went back and forth for a little bit but ultimately he said he was pretty confident he knew what was causing this, and while he didnt think an ultrasound was needed, he was willing to call their ultrasound person to come down and do it if I was adamant. I eventually caved and agreed to not do the ultrasound. Although he did make a little dig during our convo which I didn't appreciate (he said something along the lines of "I've been doing this for 30 years so I think I know what I'm doing). Please don't be condescending. Regardless of how long you've been in medicine, people are still allowed to advocate for themselves & their desires for their treatment. Anyway - aside from that, he was attentive and reassuring. However I've got to give it to the nurse - she really soothed me and my anxieties. She was such a sweetheart. She was maybe a middle aged lady with a British accent. She was so attentive, answered all my questions, checked on me, and when she could tell how nervous I was, she even brought me a little mini teddy bear with a viks shirt on to hold onto. No matter how old you are, little gestures like that really mean something, especially when you're scared. In the end, what I got was an IV in the arm with antibiotics. I believe it took like 45 min to fully drain. While I just sat there and waited, my nurse even brought me a heated blanket to make sure I was warm and comfortable. She was the best. They wrote me a prescription for an oral antibiotic but we were unsure if we were gonna make it on time before the pharmacy closed. On the off chance we didn't, they gave me my first pill ther so I wouldn't have to worry about missing a dose that night (in case we weren't able to get it until the next day). Thankfully we did make it to the pharmacy before they closed though. But that was really thoughtful. In the end, we ended up paying the ER price upon leaving. I haven't received any other bill in the mail so I can't speak on that experience yet... Also - the doctor called the next day to check up on me but I was unable to answer so he left a message. I called back the following day, but he wasn't busy with a patient so a message was taken. No call back. Called again the next day, he wasn't at the lakeway location, he was at another location. So I called the other viks location I was told he was at and they took a message since he was busy with a patient and told me he would call me back. He never did. I called again a day or two later back to the lakeway location and they gave me the same story and said they'd take a message but I told them I had already tried that multiple times and got no call back and told them I just wanted to speak to anyone on staff nurse or otherwise for them to answer my questions. So they put me on hold and I spoke to another doc I'm assuming, but not the one I saw, not dr macalasdair. This doc was pretty vague and dismissive with his answers. Basically it was like a couple word answers or "I can't answer that unless you come back in & we look at you again"...... mkay. He was unhelpful. Between the snarky response when I was advocating for myself in the room & the lack of call back and unhelpful response I got when I finally demanded to speak to anyone doctor on staff, that's why I took one star off. Otherwise, I had a solid experience. They fixed me and calmed my nerves at the same time. If anything goes awry with billing, I'll be sure to update my review. But for now, thanks for helping me!

Before going, I checked my Humana insurance, which listed this facility as a provider, so I arrived expecting to use my coverage. Once I arrived, I was told they do not accept insurance, which was very confusing and concerning given how they were listed under my plan. I was then informed that costs would start at around $800 or more, and according to the receptionist, they do not perform X-rays. Despite my insurance copay being $45, I was insisted upon to pay $800 upfront before any examination, without being seen by a doctor or receiving any medical evaluation. Due to the excessive cost, I declined treatment and left. The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the interaction, which only made the situation worse. Being pressured for a large upfront payment before any care was provided raised serious concerns. Overall, between the lack of transparency regarding insurance, exorbitant pricing, and unprofessional behavior, I chose not to proceed with treatment and will not be returning. This experience left me very uncomfortable and concerned about how patients are treated here.

Here's a heartfelt review you can use or adapt:…read more Life-Changing Support for Our Son - Forever Grateful to Neuro-Nutrition and Jana Roso Working with Neuro-Nutrition has truly changed our lives. As parents of a child with autism, we were searching for more than just surface-level solutions. We wanted someone who would look deeper, who understood the critical connection between the gut and the brain. Jana Rosso and the entire team at Neuro-Nutrition gave us exactly that and more. Through functional medicine, they helped us uncover what was really going on in our son's body. We learned how deeply his gut microbiome was affecting his behavior, focus, and overall well-being. With expert guidance, a targeted plan, and unwavering support, we started seeing real, meaningful progress. Our son is thriving in ways we never thought possible. Jana has been nothing short of incredible--compassionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping families like ours. We always felt heard, supported, and empowered every step of the way. It's not an exaggeration to say this is the best money we've ever spent. We can't say enough great things about Neuro-Nutrition. They gave us hope and results. If you're considering this path for your family, take the leap. It may just change your family's life too!

After calling this office twice, and listening to a 20 minute recording (twice) just to be put on a waiting list, I asked his pediatrician to refer him directly so we could get their attention. She was offering a Telehealth appointment for $1650. I asked if I could be emailed more information, or receive a call to explain what we'd be paying for. She replied by saying I needed to call back and listen to the recording again, which explains everything I need to know about their practice. Well, we declined the appointment. For $1650 cash, I at least would like the decency of someone calling or emailing us to explain what they would do for us via Telehealth. I find it incredibly rude that they literally will not pick up the phone for their patients. We're clearly just a number in line to them.

We weren't sure if we were getting discharged after five or six nights, and Dahlia said it would be alright for me to call her at 8 am if we hadn't been discharged yet to reschedule the appointment for the next day. All of their pediatricians are open to delaying vaccines. I delayed the hepatitis B vaccine at the hospital as my baby was battling jaundice as a preemie. I trust Raquel, the nurse practioner who hails from Southside Chicago. She is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions on vaccines. She explained that the Pediatric RSV antibodies shot is not technically a vaccine per se, even though it's called a vaccine. She showed me the list of ingredients for the RSV antibodies shot which does not contain any preservatives or aluminum so that I felt comfortable giving him the shot one day after discharge. So far we really like Dr. Holmes. He's knowledgeable, kind, and gentle with our baby. He gives great advice to first time parents and isn't rigid on rules and feeding times as long as our baby is gaining weight. Our lactation consultant was giving us rigid rules and stressing us out, where as Raquel and Dr. Holmes put our minds at ease and said to keep doing what we're doing since our baby is gaining weight.

Dr. Julie Reardon has surpassed my wildest expectations of what a family physician CAN--and is willing--to do. I think that's in part because she is a phenomenal physician and person, and I suppose the Harvard education and work with Dr. Andrew Weil doesn't hurt. I'll add that all of the folks in her office are equally as competent and caring. If you are contemplating a visit to Dr. Reardon, it's because you haven't been feeling as well as you should--probably for quite some time. Your insurance-covered doctor has run some general tests that haven't shown anything all that extraordinary; and while you may greatly respect your PCP as I do, you realize that time and budget constraints limit the ability to which they can explore your issues. You may have been told that it's your impending menopause, or your weight, or that you perhaps should consider antidepressants. This is the state of medicine in our current era of managed care, and it's nobody's fault. Sometimes it just IS. Know that, if you can afford her services, "Dr. Julie" will leave no stone unturned in helping you find that road to recovery. She's not one of those "vanity doctors" who will hand you creams, diets, and vitamins to make you ageless and extra hot...although feeling better usually makes you look better! She's a serious, science-based physician with an uncanny ability to relate the typically unrelated, and see the "big picture" of your health situation. In our initial visit, she caught on to trending issues I'd never thought of before, including a potential genetic makeup that leaves me prone to certain problems with mood and energy level that are exacerbated by stress...and I've had a year of that! She ran a gamut of tests after explaining the purpose of each one, and uncovered a problem so critical it was a wonder I even had the energy to get out of bed in the morning. I am no less impressed with our follow-up discussions. She has referred to another provider for an area outside of her realm, and also recommended simple vitamin and supplement changes that will do me a world of good. At the same time, she's not that earth-crunchy guru that's going to mandate that that you live on purified air and chants...hers are moderate lifestyle changes for real people living in our everyday world. Dr. Julie doesn't take insurance, but that allows her to spend true quality time with the patients who sign on with her. I will say that, for the fees involved, I feel like it's been a very good choice for my healthcare dollars. I am finally getting some solid answers as to why I've felt HORRIBLE over just this last year, and I finally feel confident knowing someone's got my back while I take steps to get better. I think there are a lot of docs out there who dream of having a practice like Dr. Julie's--and she has made that dream a reality. When I think about how quickly Dr. Julie started "cracking the case", and all the co-pays and labs past that never quite addressed my issue, I realize that I have now SAVED time and money in the long run. What's more...I could have gotten REALLY sick were it not for Dr. Julie and her findings. She very well might have saved my future from being...well, not so bright. Thinking about calling for an appointment with Dr. Julie Reardon? I say go for it...you will NOT regret it, and you have everything to gain.
