If you read only one review read this one. So disappointed after reading positive reviews from fellow yelpers. Walked in waiting to pick up a called-in ahead to-go order. Then while waiting we are ignored for ten minutes. In walks a new customer who was immediately greeted and they were offered help as soon as they arrived. SMH Brought this to the person behind the counter's attention and it was ignored. In my opinion it's really more of a bakery vs a sandwich shop. Small deli sized sandwiches that didn't have a lot of flavor and overpriced for the serving size. Our group ordered a club, turkey, Rueben, two chicken and BBQ sandwiches. No small order and not treated well. Don't even get me started on the "in your face" political messaging that has no place in this type of establishment. I hope you realize or do now that you offend 50% of your audience when you do this. As much as I want to support small businesses, we won't be back! read more

The minute we entered Beans we were greated by the staff. Made us feel welcomed. The food was outstanding had the Bacon, Chicken cheese sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich and the bean soup to which he said was delicious. The cafe was clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this cafe if you're looking for a light lunch. This was a handy stop along the highway during a road trip to South Carolina. We found it on Yelp after looking for somewhere with outdoor seating located along the highway. The patio seating is beautiful with great views- we were surprised everyone was tucked inside during our morning visit. We had a cappuccino and two of their donuts for the road. Both hit the spot. This definitely looks like a favorite amongst locals but the highway location is ideal for travelers looking to try something local as well. As a self professed breakfast & coffee seeker, this find during a recent trip to the Arc was a dream come true for our group. Located just off the Interstate it offers all the hot buttons one could hope to have for an AM pit stop. We noticed as we walked in the steady line in their drive thru, a good first sign on walking up to the front door. The inside was well lit and the staff was warm, genuinely friendly and most helpful. We opted for the breakfast menu, ordering from the front counter and then gathering up our table service while making our way to a table. Great seating and options for singles, small groups (we had 3 in ours) or even a larger gathering they offer perfect set ups. Loved the purposeful music and service (food was on our table in 5 minutes), giving us our coffee immediately in nice large cups. My breakfast (the 2 egg, potato, sour dough bread, homemade strawberry jam, bacon cooked just right and eggs medium made my day. In closing the best statement would be, great spots are hard to find - we just glad we found this one !! Try it .. you will not be disappointed. FYI - I did see a harsh review in the queue from a Scott, all I can say someone got up on the wrong side of the bed and missed seeing reality - happens. read more

First time stopping by this place and I have to say it wont be the last. Right out the bat, when you get to the door you see a pet friendly patio sign that its a win win for us. We went in to pick up our orders so we didn't stay much but the staff was really nice and welcoming. The place looked really big, organized, and clean. I ordered the Reuben and as you can see on the picture the meat to bread ratio is awesome; It felt fresh and tasted great. My wife order the attached Breakfast sandwich and she was also very pleased. We ordered lots of sweets which didnt make it to the pictures; Brownies, Chocolate chip cookies which where on another level, donuts and a cheesecake, they all where really good. We also found this little bag in our order with 3 little donuts, one of each flavor which was a very pleasant surprise. The one thing that made us hesitant to come in was a Huge Trump Mural that they have on the side of the restaurant. Which I am guessing its theirs unless is part of someone else property which well unfortunally is not as inviting as the pet friendly sign they have. Still its a really nice place to stop by and try. Hopefully we can come back another time with our dog, enjoy the place and provide an update on a dine in experience. read more

I don't enjoy my coffee with a side of bigotry. All the pretty displays and merch cannot hide the ugliness displayed by this establishment. Honestly, I don't really think this establishment cares--this stunt is just a thinly veiled desperate pitch to drum up business since we are in the middle of a coffee shop boom. They know they can drum up business from a certain demographic by spouting ignorance and hate. That aside, the food is just meh--definitely not worth making an effort to go there. And that was before this PR/Dog whistle stunt. I'm sure the coffee is as bitter as the owners are, and the food is just as unseasoned and bland. Interesting patriotic place for lunch. We got off the highway for the large chain restaurant and the wait was 30 minutes. We saw this place and decided to try it out, glad we did. I recently was traveling and being a mom and pop supporter I found this place on maps. I took the detour because the reviews I read on Google were really great. But my experience was not great and I hate that. Before I go in detail I did message the page three times to explain what happened and each time my message was read with a request to speak to me but no reply. So I decided to tell it. I ordered a Latte and ask to have two extra espresso shots added along with flavoring. I then ordered a sandwich. I waited by the counter because my order was to go. I got my coffee and when I took a drink it was barely warm. I spoke to the young lady that took my order and explained my coffee was cold and she got the young lady that made it. The Second Lady told me that she could microwave it and make it better. I kind of looked at her weird and ask did you make this with espresso and she said yes. I knew that was a story because I stood right at the counter and not one time heard the espresso machine or saw her use it. It also did not taste like espresso. It was coffee from the carafe that had been there most of the day and I knew it. I then told her that I did not like coffee from the microwave. I mean my coffee was 8 dollars why I should want it from a microwave. She said well there is nothing else I can do. Not wanting to be a "Karen" I said ok walked to the trash can and threw it away. My sandwich came and I left. Got in the car opened my sandwich and guess what it had been microwaved also!!! I was like who does this at a restaurant besides fast food? So I chunked that in the garbage and thought of how I just spent 20 bucks including tip on two items I could not eat or drink and wanted to just tell someone in charge so they could correct it. Yet I seen why the employees didn't care because neither did those in charge. That is a negative for me ever going back there. Yes I travel this stop about three times a week as it is on my way to work. Seems that mom and pops may not care as the chain joints do not care. read more

What a wonderful meal we just had. Came with my son and grandkids and although I had never heard of the place...I will definitely be a regular here! This is a deli/bakery cafe. You can eat inside or outside. I had their World Famous Club. The meal came with chips and a soda. Delicious! The regular sandwich is a big sandwich so I have leftovers for later! Next time I will get the jr size. My son and granddaughter had the Bacon Cheddar Chicken. Both had to get a knife to cut it in half because its too big to pick up! Theres was served with a pickle, and three donut holes!!! They loved theirs too! After lunch we got the Texas size donut! 4 of us had a piece and I'm still taking more than half of it home!
