Cute little place that is expanding! I heard they will have a pizza oven and other yummy food options and date opening is TBD. I've been many times for coffee and their current food menu. The chili is SO good!!! If you're in a hurry, this isn't your place, as it has always been on the slower side every time I've been. But if you don't mind a little wait, it is worth it! Also, if you tend to be cold natured, dress warm when visiting in the colder months--it is quite cold!

I went for the chocolate covered strawberry chai latte. It was amazing!!! I've also tried an iced red velvet latte but it wasn't sweet enough for me even though you could tell it had lots of flavoring in it. The coffee was strong and I personally didn't like the taste. I don't think extra flavoring would have made it better. So I just get the chai every time. I like the different flavoring options that they have. The parking was confusing. We didn't really know where it was. It's across from the UDF.

Very local place with no competition. I love the additions to the outdoor seating. Was a bit chaotic trying to coordinate where we could dine because some areas outside were empty which would have the server running from one end of the place to another. My husband is a pizza man and for months we've been wanting to get down here to try. It was a Friday dinner time, they only had a handful of customers but it was packed by time we left which also resulted in very slow service to cash out. I think most of the customers were there for beer and that really tapped the server trying to tend to tables who were having dinner. Now for the food: I've always been very impressed by the food here but nothing about any of our meals left us with the desire to return. At least not for food. The pickles and cheese curds...fabulous! Though I will say we were charged $0.50 for sauce that we didn't order. I just assumed it came with it as all we ordered was the appetizer we never mentioned Chipotle ranch. ‍ I let that go and didn't mention it because again it took forever to get our check and then cash out. The pizza I bet is a commissary type dough already prepared. It was dry and cracker type crust. The poor BBQ chicken wrap was burned and flavorless. The meatloaf, which I have had before and liked was barely warm yet it was busy by that point and there was no way time to ask for it to be heated. I didn't care for the presentation of the meatloaf entree. Overall, it wasn't the experience I've had here when they were smaller. Maybe they are still working to scale things now that they've finished the expansion.

Great view while enjoying food and conversation.

Great place, amazing service and delicious food all with a riverside view! This was my first time stopping in. The staff was so friendly, helpful and fun! It was close to closing time so we sat outside. The place is so nicely decorated inside and out. Can't wait to stop back in.

    Fabulous Egg sandwich

Stopped in on the way to Elks Run Golf for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Fabulous! Soft, slightly toasted bagel with lettuce, tomato and mayo was simple but incredible.

My husband and I finally got a chance to stop by to try their food. They don't have an extensive menu but good enough variety in my opinion. There are dishes for meat lover and some choices for vegetarian. The style of service is you order at the counter and they bring the food to you. If you need refill for your drink you will also need to come in to get it at the counter. A little inconvenient but I think that's okay considering probably short of staff. I didn't mind it. The lady is really nice, she explained everything and recommends drinks and food. I ordered the veggie quesadillas and my husband has the chicken quesadillas. It was a nice day so we sat outside on their patio. The patio is big and not crowded, in a sense they do t pack it with too many table and seats. There are counter facing the river, picnic table style for big groups. Overall, the food is good, atmosphere is nice, service is good. We'll be back to try their breakfast and brunch. We would suggest for them to setup a bushing cart though so people can drop of their dirty plates and basket, so the staff don't need to clean up after. Just a thought.

They serve breakfast all day. It's usually busy whenever I go for dinner around 5 or 6pm but service is quick. It might be hard to navigate and find a seat because it's a small place. The string lines are cute. They have music playing and Pixar movies on the TV. My favorite is the Sweet Brunch Sandwich. I also really like their biscuits and sausage gravy. Their home fries have the perfect amount of crispiness. I've tried other things on the menu and it's all been decent. Their flavored iced coffee was not great, though. I mean it's a diner so it's not like... super fancy and I wouldn't exactly say it's worth going out of your way for. I gave a bonus star for the service :)

Today we finally caught our chance, and I'm so glad we did. The diner is small and bustling, with closely spaced tables and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We grabbed a seat and were impressed by the expansive menu, but for our first visit we stuck with classic favorites: a cod fish sandwich and a single cheeseburger. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband is convinced the French fries were the best he's ever had--and that's saying something after 65+ years of fry-tasting experience. My Saratoga chips were crisp, light, and full of flavor. A great first experience, and definitely not our last visit.

Seriously, it was one of those rare perfect…read moredays--sun was out, things were going my way, I'd just finished a great workout, and all I wanted was a simple reward: a Big Mac meal, maybe some nuggets on the side, hot fries, the works. I was genuinely excited and smiling when I got to the counter. Then I met Aaliyah. She was working the front register and from the second I said "Hi, how are you?" her face twisted like I'd personally offended her entire family. I placed my order politely (no special requests, no modifications, literally just a standard #1 with a Coke), and she just stared at me for a solid three seconds like I was speaking another language. Then she snapped, "What size?" in the most annoyed tone imaginable. I answered calmly, still trying to keep things positive. She rolled her eyes--actually rolled them--punched in the order wrong twice, sighed loudly each time like I was the problem, and then when the total came up she practically threw the receipt at me. The final straw was when I asked (very nicely) if they could make sure the fries were fresh because the last time I was here they were cold. She didn't even respond with words. Just stared at me, flipped me off with both hands behind the counter where she clearly thought I couldn't see, then turned around and yelled "ONE!" to the kitchen like I wasn't even standing there. I was stunned. My amazing day? Instantly ruined. I paid, waited in awkward silence, got my food (fries were cold anyway), and left feeling like garbage. I've never had someone go out of their way to be that rude and disrespectful for literally no reason. Aaliyah needs serious retraining on basic customer service--or honestly, just basic human decency. If this is how she treats every customer who dares to order food at her job, I can't imagine how toxic the environment is back there. Zero chance I'll be back to this location while she's working. Ruined what should've been a great meal and a great end to a great day.

It has been posted up in front of the Marathon gas station on old 74 for a bit now. If you were driving by you might miss it, but the buzz surrounding it was so much so, that I just had to try them out. The first time I stopped by was around 3pm on my way home and several other people were also in line. The very kind owner instantly greeted me and explained what they had that day. He took my order and they got to work. The people already waiting raved about the place and were super friendly. Everyone, including the staff, chatted and it made the wait go by quick. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the carnitas tacos. The owner had recommended just 2, but I had been accustomed to quite small tacos at other places so I got 4. Boy was he right, they were so packed full of meat that I could barely finish two! The other two made a great second meal at a later time! The corn tortillas were delicious and very authentic. Each succulent and very flavorful meat was topped with onions, cilantro and your choice of green, red, or hot sauce or all of the above. For my first time the owner recommended I try each separately with the hot sauce on the side. Also included was fresh lime and a grilled poblano pepper. Everything was amazing and I can confidently say this is the best authentic tacos I have ever had, anywhere. I cant say I have a favorite sauce because they each have sensational flavor, including the hot sauce. One try and I was hooked. I started following them on Facebook to catch certain days where they had special tacos, such as steak (which cost a tiny bit more due to the quality of the steak meat). The steak was just as amazing. They also serve breakfast. The second time I visited I did not know the extra cost until I received my order. Since it is cash only, I did not have enough. A kind person in line, who also shared the addiction to this spot, gifted me the $2 I was short. I hope to pay this forward in the future at another visit to my magical friendly neighborhood taco dealer! This isnt just great food, its an experience full of great people... who are also observing covid safety despite being outside btw.
