Finally no line last night so I stopped, I was surprised they were even open at 7pm on a Sunday but they recently changed their hours. I walked in "with a mask on" and noticed signs asking you to wear a mask and the basic Covid questions on the door. I was greeted by an employee that asked me what size cart I wanted and then proceeded to sanitize it for me. The store has been rearranged so the aisles are wider, it looks nice. The only downfall is the shelves are empty, like hardly anything on them!! When checking out I asked the cashier why it was so empty and she laughed said I was the third person today to say that but went on to say people have been shopping, they bought it all. They always keep up with seasonal items and apparel and they sell out on items that are on sale fairly quickly. It could be a bit more organized in the home decor and beauty aisle (the beauty items that are on sale are an absolute mess. Sometimes there are things missing from the box and makeup items splattered everywhere), things would be easier to spot. Like every other TJ Maxx, everything is always more affordable and good quality. It's always a good place to shop for yourself and for others. The employees are always so sweet and hold up a conversation. Quality wise, I recommend this place over the other department store chains. Price wise, there will be cheaper, but I sometimes prefer quality over price depending on what I'm buying.

Even their grocery section is small. May seem big to people who have never seen a Super Target, but again, they could totally offer more. Interactions with employees can be hit or miss. Some of them are really professional, while others yell at each other and blurt out their entire business. I will give props to their pick-up employees. They were quickly even when they are busy. The store itself is fairly clean. But again, you cannot expect much from this location simply because it's Albany.

I thought TJ Max was empty, no this store is empty. Whole shelves with nothing on them, only one pillow left in the whole store. Only one cashier was working and the line was long so i decided I did not need pillows that bad. For a hot spot for Covid you would think that these popular stores in our area would do better. There is also a Dillard's where I got a cute Kurt Geiger wallet on sale, encountered three sales people in the handbag area and when I was ready to pay they went back and forth on who should ring me up. It was nice to have so much attention. I also found some really cute Chardonnay socks for less than a $2. There's way more independent stores than national brands and I wasn't in the mood to try on clothes so I passed most of those. They have a Claire's but no Victoria Secrets or Macy's. I just have to thank the mall heads that I live in the big city and know how great the mall can really be.
