Imagine the buyer and visual merchandiser of an Anthropologie store left the retailer and started collecting things in their own private shop. This shop would be their creation. The layout feels intentional and thoughtful (important for a non-digger like me) while still providing some of those hidden treasure-type moments for those that like to dig through the old junk (my in-laws). Envy is a sassy store specializing in women's fashion, owned by a warm and friendly woman who was more than happy to go the extra mile. Knowing I had a 3 hour drive back to Atlanta, a few moments of perusing through brightly colored summer dresses, strappy, airy tanks, and ruffled halters re-energized my spirits. I started out just browsing. Then one by one, I began picking up items. Before I knew it, I was headed into the changing room with armfuls of clothing, and had the owner running all over the store seeking out the right sizes for me.
