This is a good store. Similar to the TJ Maxx on HWY 31. Every time I come into one of these stores,…read morethe line to check out takes forever. Hence the stars docked. They have good stuff. The nature of the merchandise lends itself to less organization on the floor. Cosmetics aisles are pretty much just bottles on shelves for you the sift through. They had some boxes out on the floor for Christmas stuff. Not ideal, but I understand that there's a lot of holiday merchandise to move this time of year (wrapping paper, gift bags, etc.) They had some fancy dutch ovens (Staub brand) that I could need one day. Will remember they have that. I couldn't leave without checking out the pet section. The dogs will always get discounted goods. He's my baby, but he is a dog at the end of the day. I'll be wrapping this monkey for Christmas -- great deal, about $4! I also purchased some Arm & Hammer brand dog poop bags lol. Who knew they were getting into that business?

I've been most recently finding most of my athleisurewear here including a turtleneck yoga pullover and a pair of wide legged yoga pants. Some honorable mentions to my latest visit include a cropped hoody that I thought I could get a better deal on if I waited, a $35 pair of Vintage Havana's, a cat statue, and a pug painting. I was really tempted to get the cat statue! I may go back for it since I can't stop thinking about it.

My husband and I travel for his employer, this is our 5th state, I ALWAYS find a TJMaxx (favorite…read morestore). To say I was disappointed with this store was an understatement. The store was very cluttered, stock was scattered all over the store, but the one thing that upset me was the employees. I had a buggy full of stuff, I went to the checkout, was the ONLY person in line. The cashier was stocking things in the cattle run (what u call it anyway), the boxes were behind me, she saw us, didn't speak, and insisted of checking us out, she walked behind me and continued stocking shelves. I pushed the buggy to one of the lanes and immediately left. I've always loved TJ Maxx and will continue to shop just not at this location.

A lot of items are actually more than $5 now so keep that in mind. I don't like that there aren't prices on many items so you have to ask a worker for a price check. Don't trust that it's going to be $5 or below because, well, that's just not what's going on here anymore. Some items are $8, some are $10, even $25. There are tshirts, cell phone chargers and covers, beauty products, birthday cards, headphones, speakers, books, Christmas bags and wrapping, exercise stuff, candy, chips, drinks....sooooo much stuff! If you have the time (and patience), go visit the store. Everything is organized well and that I can really appreciate. You are bound to find something (or a lot of somethings) to buy. Pro tip: It's easy to go over budget here. Have an amount in mind or an idea of what you want before you get in the store and firmly stick to it.

I really think they need to rethink their business model. The name implies that everything is $5 or…read moreless, however after my most recent visit I discovered that this is far from the case for how things are priced today. Several items come in at greater than the price point called out in the name. This store itself is ok, it could be partially because they didn't have anything I was interested in and I would guess that could change based on the season of the year (or holiday). They very clearly rotate stock to match the time of year. For example, they currently have some Christmas items on hand. No interaction with staff as I didn't make any purchases, so not sure what the customer service is like. If I was in the area again, I might stop in and try them again, but wouldn't go out of my way to come by here.
