Today I had to stand around for a while before someone could help me. But once they did, they were fast and efficient. The first time, they replaced one of my tires and disposed of the old one. It was done quickly and at a fair price. This time, I came in because my tire pressure light was on. They checked everything, topped off the air, and had me back in my car in less than 10 minutes--at no charge. Solid, trustworthy spot. I'll definitely keep coming back when I need tire help.

During Covid, I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. My car has keyless entry and whoever left…read moremy car in the parking lot had the keyless entry too close to the car, and when I went to pick it up after hours, someone had rummage through my glove compartment and pulled out the glove compartment completely. Fitzway said they would fix it with no charge. When they supposedly fixed it, they did not replace the broken hydraulic arm that opens and closes the glove compartment. They left it with one arm, which worked for a while. They never told me to come back when the part came in for the arm. They just said they fixed it. Now my glove compartment is sitting on my car floor. This is how I found out that they never replaced the hydraulic arm.

I want to love Ken's. But my experiences are like dealing with two different companies . On one…read moreday they are beyond excellent and cannot do enough to satisfy the customer. And to boot, they do work that no one else would touch. For me, that included a complete rebuild of my 2006 transmission in 2024 in their shop. Yes it was costly but it was not a remanufactured tranny and extended the life of my car. If the engine goes, I'll likely return for an engine rebuild rather than a remanufactured engine. On another day, some basic work that should be simple and easy they seem capable of completely missing the mark. Couple this with their reliance on Metro Motor.com and their BG maintenance recommendations and you have what feels like a very hard sell to get your money. The BG recommendations are like a laundry list of what you MIGHT do to your auto if you had unlimited funds and just wanted to spend freely. There seems to be no rnyme or reason to the recommendations either in milage or elapased time. Don't get me wrong. I don't mind paying premiusm prices (which Ken's is) for premium work. That's the issue. I feel like it's sometimes worth it and other times not. I've reached the consclusion that they will get my more difficult jobs but routine maintenance will be handled elsewhere. I wonder if over time they have changed ownership or have new sales incentives in place. It's a shame. I really want them to be like The Car Talk guys from Boston and only do what's right.

(It was used 1 year.) Yesterday's service is what most impressed me, though: I've been to 4 Kia dealerships in 4 different states with this vehicle, and this has been hands-down the best. I was served by J.R., who is an excellent communicator and a very patient and kind person. So often at dealerships I feel like the service rep is just spitting jargon at me so I'll worry and spend more money. J.R. did make recommendations for future service, but said nothing is urgent right now so I can go home and decide later if I want to. No pressure. Just informative, clear, and helpful. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because, over the phone, I was told that my safety recall fix would take 1 hour. When I arrived, I was told it could take up to 3 1/2 hours. That's a pretty big discrepancy, and suggests that the service department isn't communicating well with the ladies who take appointments. In the end, my visit lasted somewhere between 1 and 3 1/2 hours, but I had also added an oil change, a horn check, and a car wash in the meantime, plus J.R. warned me about the possible wait as soon as I arrived. So in the end the wait was understandable; I just think the ladies taking appointments need better information! Will definitely be back here for service in the future. ZERO STARS FOR SERVICE!!!! People nice, but I scheduled an appointment for a relay switch that was…read moreshorting out not allowing me to open gas tank....2 Weeks prior to appointment. They took vehicle and changed oils and did an expensive diagnostic test to confirm indeed the relay was shorting out. They did not have said part in facility...so ordered it told me it would be in on a Tuesday, I explained my day off is Fridays, so set appointment for Friday. Showed up for said appointment which was then told I did not have. Now waiting in their lobby for the work to be a fit in. Not only are they OVER Priced, they are inefficient at getting work done in a timely manner! Would not recommend to any one. Oh and they did I not even look at extended warranty!!!!
