We were seated right by the window and it has a lovely view. Generally speaking, the ambience is really nice. All of the staff was very nice and attentive. We did have a newer server who seemed a little bit nervous and less familiar with the menu than you might want, but she was very nice and we have no complaints about the actual service. We split a half bottle of wine, which was a nice option since we didn't want a full bottle. We started with the French baguette, the brussels sprouts, and the whipped ricotta. The brussels sprouts were delicious. They were perfectly cooked and I couldn't stop going back to them. The whipped ricotta was also really interesting and the flavors were amazing. What was really disappointing was the baguette. When I think baguette, I think crusty, hot, out of the oven. The texture of the baguette was weird because it almost had more of a pretzel like exterior that was chewy and not crispy. For mains, we had the crispy chicken sandwich and the cassoulet. The sandwich was kind of a letdown. The flavors were all nice, but there was no textural difference. The bun was a little too big for the sandwich, the avocado, and the other toppings, just all kind of mushed into each other. It was perfectly enjoyable, but just nothing to write home about. The cassoulet was very good. There was a nice depth of flavor and smokiness to the meat. Overall, no complaints. It did seem as though our mains probably sat under a heat lamp. My guess is that because we were still working on the appetizers they did not want us to feel rushed, but with this kind of meal and the price point, they should do a better job pacing, or they should just bring the food out when it comes out. I would rather have the fresh hot food out of the kitchen, than have it sitting under a heat lamp. Overall, the meal was lovely. There were a lot of really high points. There were also some disappointing parts of the meal. Given the price point and the feel of the round house, the few missteps hit a little bit harder. But we would absolutely come back again. It was an overall very nice experience and we enjoyed our ourselves.

Eve and Lavonne of L'Eve Wedding Services are the final pieces of the puzzle I didn't realize I…read moredesperately needed. I hired these lovely ladies to take care of only a few things: surprise food platters, arranging my party favors and hanging difficult-to-reach items throughout the venue for my wedding. These ladies completed these tasks in NO TIME and then literally ran up and down the stairs for hours completing any task I barked. They finished my floral arrangments AND my bouquet so elegantly, arranged my cocktail hour tables and centerpieces exactly how I imagined them, steamed my dress, prepared and set the gift table, set the ceremony table and easily found items in my mess-of-a-bridal-suite for the venue coordinator, photographer and my family. Most important, they calmed me down when I was having typical bridal meltdowns :) They're worth every penny for their hard work but really their kindness, attitude, professionalism and elegance made it even more worth it. All of my bridal party was raving about how amazing they were. They helped my scattered vision come to completion with little to no direction. I am so very very thankful they were on my team!

I cannot recommend Lambs Hill or my stylist Alessia enough!!…read more Everyone I know has gotten their dress at Lambs Hill, and upon first glance you think you're walking into a high end boutique and going to end up spending a pretty penny. That could not be the opposite! Their gowns are so moderately priced with majority of them being under $2300. I went in thinking I wanted a ballgown and went the entire opposite direction. Alessia pulled every single dress I asked to see, she helped me try on and take off the same dresses multiple times. In the end she ended up custom making me a gown from items all around the shop. I found my dress at my first apt but left without it because I was too nervous to say yes at my very first apt. I went back about a month later tried on even more dresses & Alessia convinced me to try on my dress one more time and I knew it was mine when I looked at it on the hanger. We learned that the owner's name is Charlotte and she painted all of the artwork in the shop. But what they didn't know is that my late grandma's name was Charlotte & I have been having a very difficult time without her being here, walking into my changing area and seeing her name on the art work on the wall I knew was a sign that not only was she there with us but that I'd be leaving Lambs Hill with my perfect dream dress. The entire staff is amazing, made me feel like a princess and I absolutely cannot wait to see my dress come to life! If you were second guessing going to Lambs Hill this is your sign to RUN to make an apt!!!
