Don't have enough outlets so this is their solution

Stay elsewhere and save yourself the headache. I would give negative stars if it were an option. They charge you $33 per night to reserve a parking space (they created three parking spots in the lot behind the building with paint on the ground) and they want you to leave your car keys in an unsecured box in the lobby "in case they need to move your vehicle". They don't mention the park about the keys until you're there checking in. We reserved our parking space well in advance and when they asked for our keys I told them I wasn't comfortable leaving them out for anyone to have access to. The woman working didn't have an issue with it. Two days into our stay we returned back to the room around midnight and all three parking spots were taken up. Since the front desk is only staffed 9a-10p we had to find an emergency number to contact. The girl that answered the phone said she would come take a look. After almost an hour of us sitting in our car waiting for an answer we were finally told that they would handle it in the morning and that we should park on the street and they would pay for our parking ticket. Where the girl told us to park on the street was literally under a sign that said "tow zone". We were left to fend for ourselves after midnight in a new to us city not having any idea where to put our car. The next morning we were told that if we wanted our parking spot back we had to give them our car keys. The girl working the desk was clueless and tried to have this puff out of chest attitude. We asked for a manager to contact us and all the girl would say was, "I'll pass along your concerns". We asked multiple times and we're never allowed to speak to management. After this huge ordeal no apologies, no compensation for the huge inconvenience, nothing. For a B&B their pathetic excuse for a breakfast is muffins, croissants & old oatmeal packets. You have no control over the temperature of your room, the heat blasted all night on the 4th floor and it was so hot. They buy the cheapest towels & toilet paper possible. The shower is smaller than tiny.

Everything reasonable was really far outside of Boston, but then we stumbled across Anthony's Townhouse online. It is right in the heart of everything. You are extremely close to all the sights and restaurants. All of their rooms are extremely spacious with very big closets. Each one has its own unique decor. The whole place is extremely clean and housekeeping comes every morning. There is a fridge, microwave and bathroom on each floor. The owners are the most helpful people ever! They helped us find parking, get our T passes and even went through the map with us. There is a T stop right outside their house so you can take it everywhere downtown! I loved not having to take the truck anywhere. There are a few restaurants right across the street. There is also a whole foods. You cannot beat the price and location!! We will definitely be coming back to stay again.

It's easy to get to (right near Coolidge Corner), and easy to check in (even if you're after hours). They have breakfast for you every morning, and you can either eat in your room or eat at the big dining table downstairs. Downstairs is a great opportunity to chat with the other people that are staying at the BTI. I would recommend trying to get a room with your own bathroom to prevent the awkward walking through the halls in a towel moments with strangers. My favorite part about BTI was the freshly baked cookies and snacks they had every afternoon. It was like coming back to a home with all the great smells of food cooking and people happy to see you. The staff here was wonderful - so friendly, helpful and accommodating. They didn't mind that I hung out with my parents at the Inn and even ate some of their food. Another plus is the VHS library they have. They have tons of movies you can watch for free, and they have tons of guidebooks for those visiting and unfamiliar with Boston. Tell all your friends and family to stay at the Beech Tree Inn.

When returning in the evening, I often had tea and a freshly baked cookie or brownie. It's close to Coolidge Corner, which has plenty of places to eat out. It's near the T. The wifi was free and fast. I was delighted to stay at the Beech Tree Inn, and highly recommend it.

Location (5/5) quiet tree lined residential street only 5 minute walk from Stop and Shop. Lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of Boston street traffic and yet have east access to everything. Checking In/Out: (4/5) good information through emails, no contact, instructions/key were in an individual envelope on the front door. Simple as long as you don't need to speak to anybody about any issues. I stayed on the 3rd floor. Stairs are narrow and have a rail on one side. Dropbox on the 2nd floor for checkout. If you need parking, request it at the time of booking as it is limited onsite. Continental breakfast: (3/5): available for two hours in the morning on the 2nd floor, including coffee, orange juice, little muffins, bagels, boiled eggs, yogurt, packaged oatmeal. The Captain's Room: (4/5) Spacious with 4 post queen bed, vintage wooden upholstered chair, large dresser with large mirror, two nightstands, overhead light with ceiling fan, closet with mini fridge, TV, free WiFi. It shares a bathroom down the hall with one other room. Bathroom is small but clean with good hot water pressure and a convenient sink-side table for your toiletries--free shampoo, conditioner, soap. Creaky wooden floors in room, carpet in hallway. Earplugs offered on nightstand in case you're a light sleeper. Cleaning service available daily though I only requested it for checkout. Thermostat in hallway, not in individual rooms. Fortunately it was a cool weekend, not too humid. Though I never saw any staff, the place is clean and hospitable and I would stay again, maybe next time in a room with an en-suite bathroom. Overall a pleasant stay and exactly what I expected!

It did not feel clean and I doubt the bedding was fresh. Plus, we had to wait over 20 minutes to check in because the front desk person was on break, despite the fact that they called and asked when we would be arriving. We showed up at the estimated time and no one was there. I was not pleased that the keys were required to be store in an unlocked cabinet by the desk. Anyone could've taken the keys to my car. Our room was on the 4th floor--quite a hike up very narrow stairs. Breakfast was disappointing to say the least--not much available and kind of a dirty presentation. Our tv had 10 working channels!

Multiple issues at this property during our stay 9/14-9/16/2024…read more Parking is $33 a night. there is a six spot lot in the alley behind the property. Our first night there were no issues parking. The 2nd day (9/15) we left the property early in the day and went to a concert that evening at Fenway. I received a call during the day asking when we would be returning. I couldn't give an answer because I didn't know. Then during the concert I received a text advising me to park a block away from the property due to ongoing construction. this should not have had anything to do with the spots behind the property. The signs for no parking on the street in front of the building stated 9/17 and 9/18, had nothing to do with the dates that we were there. i requested a refund for having to park on the street a block away from the building. They will not give a refund. I responded to the text asking for a refund, they did not answer. I sent an email, received a call and explained again what happened. She had to call me back. The call back was that there would be no refund and stated that the agreement was that if I got a ticket for parking on the street they would cover it. I asked for the owner to call me. I then sent 2 more emails. One that shows an screenshot of the website to reserve parking after making a reservation if needed and another with a picture of the agreement that I signed reserving parking. These people are a thieves. Take your money to reserve parking but then don't guarantee you a spot. Additionally, a fire alarm was going off on the morning of 9/15. There was no direction from anyone as to where to go and what to do. The bathroom is not clean. The shower has soap scum and the bathroom floor was dirty. The shower liner was also yellowed with soap scum. There weren't enough towels for our stay. There is a table on our floor that stated to take towels from there if need but there were no towels. No one was available in the early morning hours to get towels from. The front door to the inn did not close all the way and was easily accessible to anyone after hours. The refrigerator in the room did not work properly and froze our drinks and food. There was dust and a dirty washcloth under the bed. I do NOT recommend this property at all. Horrible customer service.

I'd recommend it to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in Boston whilst on business or visiting a friend. Highly praised in Time Out's guide to Boston, this Fenway brownstone house did not disappoint at all. The interior is lovingly kept in original 19 century decor and Florence has an amazing collection of dolls as well as a whole room for her shoes and hats. At 80 dollars a night it was a bargain for a truly special room that could well have been in a museum. The bathroom was hip with a great toilet, and it was conveniently close to several T stops. The real gem though was Ms Frances, who was truly charming and had quite amazing stories. She has flags for every guest to show their nationality, and of the 50 or so flags she owns she's been to pretty much every country - including Iran. An introduction to her hat collection is quite a treat too. What a life she has led! She even had a free guest pass for me for the Museum of Fine Arts.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.
