Great location , clean rooms, comfortable. This is in an old brownstone so it no not modern but it is quaint. There are no frills or extras here. However we had a very nice stay. The only drawback is that the staff is very noisy in the morning so sleeping in is not an option unless your on the top floor. We thought the prices were reasonable. We did not like the $30 parking charge nightly so we found alternative parking arrange

If your expectations are in line, this is a heck of a deal and a great location if traveling to the Fenway area! We went to the Foo Fighters concert at Fenway, most rooms in the area were triple the amount on this night, some not even as close as the Beacon Inn 1087! Literally a 10 min walk to the park, great access, and nice little area with restaurants and shops. We were provided great service from the time we showed up. The gentleman at the desk physically guided us through the parking which was right around back, and explained everything in detail about the room and what to expect for hours of operation etc. We stayed in the Isabella Gardner room. This is a massive room with a king bed, nice bathroom, original marble fire place, and a lot of charm! This was the first room once you walk in on the first floor, very easy access...no complaints. I would and probably will stay here again!

I'd recommend it to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in Boston whilst on business or visiting a friend. Highly praised in Time Out's guide to Boston, this Fenway brownstone house did not disappoint at all. The interior is lovingly kept in original 19 century decor and Florence has an amazing collection of dolls as well as a whole room for her shoes and hats. At 80 dollars a night it was a bargain for a truly special room that could well have been in a museum. The bathroom was hip with a great toilet, and it was conveniently close to several T stops. The real gem though was Ms Frances, who was truly charming and had quite amazing stories. She has flags for every guest to show their nationality, and of the 50 or so flags she owns she's been to pretty much every country - including Iran. An introduction to her hat collection is quite a treat too. What a life she has led! She even had a free guest pass for me for the Museum of Fine Arts.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

We were on our way out to Fenway, so the friendly gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to give us walking directions after he showed us around the guest spaces and our room. Location: 5 : an easy 10 minute walk to Fenway, a 12 minute walk to the Commons. A wealth of eating options, safe secure and walkable in every direction. Room: 5 Our room was impeccable with impressive personal touches and attention to detail. Little things like Fiji water, fresh soft towels (and a black towel for makeup), full array of toiletries, and a welcoming comfortable firm bed. Despite having alllll the things to do in Boston, I was excited to get back to that room and that bed, and I slept like a log. I like a good bed when I'm traveling and I would never stay at another place if I had the option. My favorite aspect was having a separate bedroom and living area (with pull out couch). All things comparable, I've stayed in a thousand hotels, I've traveled Boston thoroughly. This will be my go-to forever. Whether traveling single, as a couple, or with my kids, I will look at 284 first and foremost. Kid-friendly: yes! I would definitely stay here with my kids (ages 9, 11, 13). Safe, fun, welcoming, and wallet-friendly. Special bonus and wow impression: each room is themed after a different artist. I love love love this concept and intrigued me a thousand times over. I ave a personal goal to stay in every room now.

Clearly every effort has been and is being made to accommodate guests. The lady on the desk was professional and very patient with a tired traveler whose GPS had taken him and his traveling companion to the wrong address, the affiliate location, 1750 Beacon Street. This was in spite of a phone call informing us of the issue and an inquiry to confirm that we would arrive before 9:00 P.M. when the front desk closes for the night until 8:00 A.M. the next morning. The location was perfect for the early morning medical appointment which occasioned our stay. If you are a light sleeper and in Beacon Street facing rooms, the trolley passing from 6:00 A.M until Midnight might be a problem. However, this is a city location. Normal traffic noises are not an issue. Booking.com failed to inform us that our reservation was for Room #7 which has a private bathroom across the hall, not in the room. In fairness to the Beacon Inn, this is properly noted on the Beacon Inn website. The room was spotless neat and clean with extra blankets. Heating and ventilation was fine. The bathroom was equally clean and properly equipped. Bring your own hair dryer. Perhaps, we should concluded on our own that our room would be up three flights of stairs with rooms another flight above, no elevator, not easy for access for anyone with mobility issues. The price of $116 plus an additional $36 for parking was extremely reasonable for the location in Greater Boston. Parking was convenient and close with excellent, in person direction on how to access. Breakfast starts some time after 8:00 A.M. We left at 7:15 for an early medical appointment. But more than anything else were the owners - they are unbelievable people, and acted like long-term friends, whenever any request of mine came up. By the end of my stay, all I could think about was how nice it would be to live in an apartment like that with neighbors like that on the street like that. Just incredibly charming, peaceful, and yet with all the comfort amenities, like great TV, air conditioning, kitchen, parking, just everything.... I really couldn't recommend enough, especially if you are a working professional in Boston for an extended stay, or a family needing to be in the area for the local hospitals, which are again only about a 20min *walk* away. I think one thing that says it all is that a few nights into my stay, I found a deck of cards in the drawer next to the bed. I opened it up to play a game, and then saw that people for the past decade or so had been writing their names, and the place they traveled from on the cards. I thought this was a beautiful gesture, that the Inn owners actually had no idea about, but that I hope continues in the years to come.
