Don't have enough outlets so this is their solution
    Katie O.

Stay elsewhere and save yourself the headache. I would give negative stars if it were an option. They charge you $33 per night to reserve a parking space (they created three parking spots in the lot behind the building with paint on the ground) and they want you to leave your car keys in an unsecured box in the lobby "in case they need to move your vehicle". They don't mention the park about the keys until you're there checking in. We reserved our parking space well in advance and when they asked for our keys I told them I wasn't comfortable leaving them out for anyone to have access to. The woman working didn't have an issue with it. Two days into our stay we returned back to the room around midnight and all three parking spots were taken up. Since the front desk is only staffed 9a-10p we had to find an emergency number to contact. The girl that answered the phone said she would come take a look. After almost an hour of us sitting in our car waiting for an answer we were finally told that they would handle it in the morning and that we should park on the street and they would pay for our parking ticket. Where the girl told us to park on the street was literally under a sign that said "tow zone". We were left to fend for ourselves after midnight in a new to us city not having any idea where to put our car. The next morning we were told that if we wanted our parking spot back we had to give them our car keys. The girl working the desk was clueless and tried to have this puff out of chest attitude. We asked for a manager to contact us and all the girl would say was, "I'll pass along your concerns". We asked multiple times and we're never allowed to speak to management. After this huge ordeal no apologies, no compensation for the huge inconvenience, nothing. For a B&B their pathetic excuse for a breakfast is muffins, croissants & old oatmeal packets. You have no control over the temperature of your room, the heat blasted all night on the 4th floor and it was so hot. They buy the cheapest towels & toilet paper possible. The shower is smaller than tiny.

I'd recommend it to anyone who needs somewhere to stay in Boston whilst on business or visiting a friend. Highly praised in Time Out's guide to Boston, this Fenway brownstone house did not disappoint at all. The interior is lovingly kept in original 19 century decor and Florence has an amazing collection of dolls as well as a whole room for her shoes and hats. At 80 dollars a night it was a bargain for a truly special room that could well have been in a museum. The bathroom was hip with a great toilet, and it was conveniently close to several T stops. The real gem though was Ms Frances, who was truly charming and had quite amazing stories. She has flags for every guest to show their nationality, and of the 50 or so flags she owns she's been to pretty much every country - including Iran. An introduction to her hat collection is quite a treat too. What a life she has led! She even had a free guest pass for me for the Museum of Fine Arts.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.

Room: 5 Our room was impeccable with impressive personal touches and attention to detail. Little things like Fiji water, fresh soft towels (and a black towel for makeup), full array of toiletries, and a welcoming comfortable firm bed. Despite having alllll the things to do in Boston, I was excited to get back to that room and that bed, and I slept like a log. I like a good bed when I'm traveling and I would never stay at another place if I had the option. My favorite aspect was having a separate bedroom and living area (with pull out couch). All things comparable, I've stayed in a thousand hotels, I've traveled Boston thoroughly. This will be my go-to forever. Whether traveling single, as a couple, or with my kids, I will look at 284 first and foremost. Kid-friendly: yes! I would definitely stay here with my kids (ages 9, 11, 13). Safe, fun, welcoming, and wallet-friendly. Special bonus and wow impression: each room is themed after a different artist. I love love love this concept and intrigued me a thousand times over. I ave a personal goal to stay in every room now.

But more than anything else were the owners - they are unbelievable people, and acted like long-term friends, whenever any request of mine came up. By the end of my stay, all I could think about was how nice it would be to live in an apartment like that with neighbors like that on the street like that. Just incredibly charming, peaceful, and yet with all the comfort amenities, like great TV, air conditioning, kitchen, parking, just everything.... I really couldn't recommend enough, especially if you are a working professional in Boston for an extended stay, or a family needing to be in the area for the local hospitals, which are again only about a 20min *walk* away. I think one thing that says it all is that a few nights into my stay, I found a deck of cards in the drawer next to the bed. I opened it up to play a game, and then saw that people for the past decade or so had been writing their names, and the place they traveled from on the cards. I thought this was a beautiful gesture, that the Inn owners actually had no idea about, but that I hope continues in the years to come. It's clear this place meant a lot to all those people, it meant a lot to me, and I'm sure it will mean a lot to you if you get a chance to stay in the wonderful, one-of-a-kind, Fort Hill Inn.

Then during the concert I received a text advising me to park a block away from the property due to ongoing construction. this should not have had anything to do with the spots behind the property. The signs for no parking on the street in front of the building stated 9/17 and 9/18, had nothing to do with the dates that we were there. i requested a refund for having to park on the street a block away from the building. They will not give a refund. I responded to the text asking for a refund, they did not answer. I sent an email, received a call and explained again what happened. She had to call me back. The call back was that there would be no refund and stated that the agreement was that if I got a ticket for parking on the street they would cover it. I asked for the owner to call me. I then sent 2 more emails. One that shows an screenshot of the website to reserve parking after making a reservation if needed and another with a picture of the agreement that I signed reserving parking. These people are a thieves. Take your money to reserve parking but then don't guarantee you a spot. Additionally, a fire alarm was going off on the morning of 9/15. There was no direction from anyone as to where to go and what to do. The bathroom is not clean. The shower has soap scum and the bathroom floor was dirty. The shower liner was also yellowed with soap scum. There weren't enough towels for our stay. There is a table on our floor that stated to take towels from there if need but there were no towels. No one was available in the early morning hours to get towels from. The front door to the inn did not close all the way and was easily accessible to anyone after hours. The refrigerator in the room did not work properly and froze our drinks and food. There was dust and a dirty washcloth under the bed. I do NOT recommend this property at all. Horrible customer service.
