We were looking for a good seafood restaurant near the beach. You can't see the water from this place but it has a real beach feel and the food is excellent and very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend everything we ordered - crab cakes - you will probably want extra remoulade - she crab soup - perfect - I think I could taste a touch of sherry - shrimp and scallops on grits - wow, scallops were huge and grilled perfectly. We are on our annual classic car Yearone Driven it Home.Island Tour with all our friends and we where going to eat at the recommended local restaurant, and we made a wrong turn and landed here. What a great mistake. The food is outstanding and the people where so nice. We ordered shrimp, lobster, crab,and scallops (we are pigs lol). Well the kitchen printer broke and our orders didn't go through. They apologized and offered free soup or any appetizer, so we got soup. Then as our order was coming out the Manager said,we are taking 15% off your tab for the inconvenience, I said told her there was no need but she insisted. Got our food and my wife said,with a face full of butter and spice,this is the best seafood I've ever had and I agree. This place is spot on,not fancy but fantastic!!! read more

I was disappointed with the customer service when I came here. The food is also inconsistent. First time it was great second time not so great. And they don't follow their own closing hours. I came at 8:30 and was told the kitchen was closed. If you want great seafood and great customer service go to Seafood Station instead. Beachside seafood is disappointing. read more

The seafood is fresh and tasty. We ordered a dozen raw oysters and the number 10 (lobster, shrimp and scallops) spicy. It was not too hot and everything had great flavor. The only slip up was that the oysters came but our main meal was "lost". They made it up by offering free dessert and we took two peanut butter cup cookies to go - they were very sweet, tender and fell apart as we shared them. If we stayed longer, we would have ate here again. read more

You walk in an order. And then it gets sent to your table. I got the clam chowder it was excellent. A little bit thick but fantastic flavor. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I would not recommend it. A bit of a wait to order due to a big group but once ordered our meals arrived quickly. Delicious 'boiled' seafood dinners (mild or spicy garlic seasonings) offer seafood combos as well as 1 type of seafood(varieties of shellfish & fish) . Meals also contain potatoes, sausage, corn on the cob with sides of garlic bread. A hand washing area in the corner of the dining room is a nice touch for cleaning your hands after digging into your seafood platters. Staff is fun & friendly. read more
