Catch of the day, vegetable medley and jasmine rice

This is one of a few places that sits right on the beach. We opted to sit at the bar since it was so hot out but there is a nice outdoor patio nestled by sea grass. We ordered the veggie steak and catch of the day. Both were delicious.

Today we decided to go out for "brekkies" but we had the same criteria: must have waterside view. While this adorable bistro technically had a waterside view it was limited by the sea grass. Still...it is RIGHT on the beach. This was breakfast so there is nothing stunning to report. We each had the 2 stack of pancakes and asked for crunchy bacon. Boy did they give us crunchy? Very yummy. Our server Amanda was very exuberant for a breakfast place. Very sunny and cheerful. The ONLY drawback was the coffee. It was not very good coffee. It's a shame because the rest of the meal was so charming. The cost was more than reasonable with plenty of parking.

If you're on the hunt for a low-key spot with major flavor vibes on the beach, this is your new go-to. Their pickle-brined chicken sandwich is *next level*. The chicken is crazy tender and super crispy, with that perfect pickle punch that keeps you coming back (and I don't even like pickles!). With a fresh new chef (whose soups are supreme and comparable to a Michelin starred spot in NYC) running the show, this hidden gem is about to blow up--get in before everyone else does! Seriously - have never had a bad dish here. They always have fun specials to accompany the cute patio under the fairy lights on the walk out to the beach. Great view and vibes. I always forget to take pics of the food because I always dig right in, but check out the patio eco friendly take out containers when you are stuffed from the great portion sizes :) I would say that the hours in google and some other sites seem to be wrong. They're actually open til 10 as they accommodated our large party at 9 when google maps said they were closed!

A hidden gem on the beach, great food and great service! Had amazing tacos and wings and they serve my favorite Happy Dad flavors!

Went for a late-ish breakfast on a Wednesday and were able to get seated outdoors next to the dunes at an umbrella table with a bench seat and ocean views. Enjoyed the egg white omelet with fruit, in particular. While we didn't indulge, the parties around us were sipping mimosas. Only downside was the limited kids menu (although our granddaughter did enjoy her huge pancake). All in all it was a lovely way to start the day.

Chicken sandwich, cole slaw, tuna bites

We were in the area and this place sounded good to us for lunch. There was plenty of parking as the restaurant is inside a hotel (very cute looking hotel from the outside!). The service was very friendly. You could eat either inside or out; we chose outside for the beautiful weather. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the tuna bites with cole slaw on the side. Ranking from the most delicious: tuna bites and chicken sandwich tied in first place, fries were delicious and crispy (dip it in the sauce that comes with the tuna bites), and the cole slaw came in last but was refreshing between each bite. The chicken sandwich had a generous amount of toppings, and the sauce complimented the meat deliciously. While this is beachside, we were hoping for ocean views. Nonetheless, we had blue skies and pretty views of North Carolina nature (tall beach grass on the sand). Thank you, Beachside Bistro!

We ate here bc it's on property. You can sit inside or outside. Some umbrellas don't cover all the seats. So after sitting out there for a bit we moved inside. The decor is cute and I liked the lighthouse theme was fantastic. We saw one the day before. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Great view of beach and ocean from Beachside Bistro!

Great atmosphere and food! We had crab dip, buffalo wings and for our entree we had the scallop linguine! The band was playing, Phil Watson is the guy that was there that night, he was awesome! We had a view, great food and awesome music! Checked all the boxes for us!

A small place. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and the food was good. Wait staff very attentive. A popular spot so the off season is for us.

I woke up...and had a delicious time! The reviews here tell you how great this place is, and well...believe them! I thought for sure it would be over-hyped and not live up to what people write and say, but I will admit to being wrong. First, our server, Krickett, was agreed upon (by my partner and I) to be the best server we have ever had. She was friendly, outgoing, had good recommendations, and an all-around joy. Second, the food! Wow! My partner had a salad...simple enough, right? But no, she was amazed by it. And she is a vegetarian, so she has had a lot of salads over the years. This one blew her away. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Was it life-changing? No. But it was way better than what a grilled chicken sandwich normally is. It was tender, juicy, with just the right seasoning. I would be a criminal if I didn't mention the bruschetta...get it with the burrata...it is worth it! The crispy bread with balsamic drizzle is good enough with the diced tomato mix, but the cheese gives it a new level. And, I hope you saved room for dessert, because the key lime pie was a mouth explosion.

The restaurant has two distinct dining areas: the front section is first-come first-served bar seating that offers the full menu. The back section, which would be ideal for families, holds about 30 tables, mostly booths, with the hostess stand. We chose to sit at the bar and had a great experience. We started with bruschetta topped with burrata cheese. I ordered the angel hair pasta in a white garlic butter, cream sauce with marinated chicken and grilled vegetables. My husband ordered the special hamburger with Swiss cheese bacon, spinach and mayo with a side of fries. We ended with slices of the key lime pie that didn't disappoint! The food, service, staff and environment were exceptional! We overheard the Server mention that veterans receive complementary meals on Veterans Day, which speaks volumes about how this restaurant supports those who have served. If you are in the Outer Banks- whether you're staying in Kill Devil Hills or nearby- this restaurant is worth the drive and all the hype!

I went in to get the reservation (expecting a long wait due to the crowd) she told me it was an hour and a half. We were totally fine with that, they have a great area to wait in the rear with corn hole, chairs, and a bar. But she made sure to tell me several times about the wait and asked me multiple times if I really wanted to wait that long. It felt like I was being pushed into not dining there. The wait ended up being a little over an hour. We got seated outside and it was beautiful and not too hot. Now let's get to the food. Our group ordered the buffalo shrimp as an appetizer and it was phenomenal!! We got the crab cake dinner, crab cakes sandwiches, and fish and chips for the entrees. They were all delicious as well. Our waitress was super nice to us and made sure we had a great time. So to end it, the food, waitress, and building/grounds was excellent and highly recommend (5/5 stars). The angry hostess that seemed like she didn't want anyone dining there because the wait time somehow bothered her, would not recommend (0/5 stars).

After one visit, I completely understood why he kept coming back! The restaurant has the perfect laid-back beach atmosphere. The bright, colorful décor immediately puts you in vacation mode and creates a fun, welcoming environment. My son ordered the mussels and the salmon. The mussels were the standout of the meal--steamed perfectly and served in a rich, garlicky white wine broth that was so good you could easily soak it up with bread until the bowl was empty. The salmon was beautifully prepared, looked fantastic, and judging by the empty plate, he thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I played it a little safer and ordered the fish and chips, and I have zero regrets. The fish was perfectly fried with a crispy, golden coating while staying flaky and tender inside. It was seasoned well and full of flavor. And as someone who can never resist great fries, these definitely hit the mark--hot, crispy, and the perfect complement to the fish. Between the delicious food, relaxed beach vibes, and friendly atmosphere, Noosa Grill made for a very enjoyable dining experience. It's easy to see why it's become a favorite among both locals and seasonal visitors. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the OBX!

Our service was great. But the food, sub par. Soft drinks were "odd" for lack of better word. So I returned it for a beer cause, why not. Sweet tea was so sweet that we had to dilute it with water. We can handle that. The food would have been great, had they used ANY SEASONING at all. Everything tasted as tho the kitchen lost all S&P privileges. I had the prime rib w/ au jus. Meat was tender and onions cooked nicely. But it definitely didn't match the description which was something like "on a hoagie bun topped with garlic and butter." It was not. Which would have really helped carry the no seasoning deal. Au jus, had great potential, just no flavor. I ended up eating the meat alone and left the bread. Wife got the Reuben. Which was overall ok. Much more flavor than mine. But only bc of the sauerkraut. Oldest daughter got the BYO burger, with cheese and pickle. The burger was clearly a frozen patty from the store. As clearly defined by the shape of the patty. She ate half and the other half sits in the fridge as I type, from 2 nights ago. (I usually eat all the leftovers) I leave this review in hopes that the management and kitchen staff will start to properly season their food. Arts has great potential. But not without seasoning!
