I loved this place. On a slow day it's a nice get away. The crab stuffed jalapeños had a nice kick.

Good food. had the fried shrimp, coleslaw and mashed potatoes and it was all good. French fries were awesome as well.

The fish was ok. Nothing special. It is time to change the cooking oil. The onion rings are not eatable. No fresh brewed ice tea. No fountain drinks. The Tabasco sauce is cut with something. It's very watery. It's like they are squeezing every penny they can out the place. Service was okay. But good service never makes up for bad food. Could be a great place to have a couple of drinks and enjoy the view. No music. read more

Due to recent negative reviews, I had zero expectations on being seated in a timely manner as well as expecting to be forgotten about once seated. I guess management wanted to see a change because we were seated pretty quickly (it was a Friday night so I was surprised by that) and the waitresses checked on us several times. Absolute joke of an establishment. I feel terrible for any future customers. For starters, you have the most miserable employees I've ever met. The attitudes were disgusting. We waited over an hour just for our drinks. Half of the food. When we finally decided to go inside and ask for an update, our server was sitting at the bar having a jolly good time with the bartender. She then tells me "Oh we don't have the alcohol for some of the drinks you ordered, I don't even know if you got any drinks yet." What? I ask for the tab and she sits back down at the bar. As we pulled up, there were three police officer vehicles breaking up a fight outside. That should have been our first clue to move on but we were hungry and chalked it up to drunk tourists. Upon entering, this place is a combo tiki bar, strip club, head shop. The female staff members were barely clothed. Tables were dirty, stuff was dripping from the ceiling while we were eating, and they charged $3 for water. There are fun dollar store decorations hanging and you can have CBD added to any drink for a nominal fee. If that isn't enough, there's a whole display counter of CBD products available. When my burger arrived the server looked confused when I asked where all burger toppings were. "Oh, did you want those?" He asked with every ounce of sincerity. Um... yeah. Sure did. The food was ok but the fries were really good which is the only reason this gets an extra star. Surfside really could do a LOT better for their visitors. read more

Located right on the beach and the atmosphere was good. Food was not anything I'd crave and want to go back for. The mozzarella sticks and sauce were good (asked for ranch and was brought tartar sauce multiple times), the shrimp poboy with onion rings was just ok and the Chipotle shrimp pasta was extremely bland- not even a hint of chipotle whatsoever. 2 stars for the location and mozzarella sticks, otherwise a 1 would suffice. read more

Wow, even with the limited menu and SD seating this place is amazing. First, our waitress Veronica was super. Very helpful and quick to provide great service. The oysters on the half shell were some of the best we've ever had. The fried boudin balls were so tasty. The kids had hamburgers and devoured them (be careful they fry and chicken and french fries in the same oil as the shrimp... yikes if your kid has a seafood allergy). Sent back the friend jalapeños stuffed with crab; cold and not very good. We ordered a Miami Vice - A+, Hurricane - B and a SOB -B. They ran out of pina colada so only one MV. I am in town for the holidays and decided to give this place a try with some friends. Terrible service. Drinks took around 30 minutes to come out and there were maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant. Server never came to our table to check on us, it took 15 minutes to even get greeted. But, the downstairs spot is a great place to hang out. Loved the sand volleyball, service just makes it not worth it. read more

Good service, food was very good as well. The oysters on a half shell were fresh and large, especially for less than $20 per dozen. I would also recommend the fried jumbo shrimp and fries, all good stuff. Specialty cocktails can be a dice roll and usually the fruity drink menu is straight sugar and mixers. The pineapple margarita was not over sweet and was a great mix of tequila and flavor. Definitely coming back. PS. Bathrooms are a bit dicey, but it's the beach, get over it. read more

First off we get there and table was dirty. After sitting there we finally got a waitress to get our drink order. I along with a friend ordered an alcoholic drink. We basically waited 45 mins for a beer and a margarita. I got my margarita and my friend still had to wait for her beer. When she finally got her beer it was hot. No one likes a hot beer so she politely got up and went to the bar to ask for a colder one. She came back and was like they're bringing me another one. Well the waiter comes back and states "the bar manager is refusing to serve you". We didn't ask questions just said ok. We finally get our food. It was not all that good. It wasn't even hot to begin with. The service was horrible and it was not busy at all. I do NOT recommend this place. read more

Absolutely the worst. We were considering a chose of this restaurant or Seahorse Bar and Grill. Unfortunately we made the wrong choice first time. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak - all I can say is don't. It was thin and tough and they didn't even have a knife for me to cut with. Coleslaw was warm. My friend noticed she was charged $2 for water. She was told it was bottled water, however she was not brought the water bottle to open and pour herself or even advised she would be charged for water. Service was amazing. Food was nothing special, but not bad. Drinks heavily watered down. Menu said they charged gratuity for 6 adults or more. Went with my husband and 4 kids (ages 12 and below) and was charged gratuity and a random "service charge" on top of that. Way to overpriced for any family trying to eat there.
