Incredible views. I got a Paloma and it was the most horrible drink I've ever had. It tasted like dishwater. And it was 13$. My husband got Tito's and grapefruit. Only a single star for absolutely awful customer service. Management staff was horrible. After having a perfectly pleasant dining experience with food that is to be expected from a beachside restaurant and a good waitress, upper management completely ruined the evening. Someone on the staff managed to misplaced our credit card after we sent it to have our bill paid - after 30 minutes of looking for said card and cancelling it with the service provider, upper management threatened to send my husband to jail for not paying his tab. Literally was on the phone with the cops and they pulled up to the restaurant before we even left. I understand that this small town buddy system is fairly common, what I don't understand is threatening customers who are at *NO* fault for a mistake your own staff made. Don't worry, we paid out bill and tipped our waitress, but don't go here expecting to be taken care of as a customer. read more

Great views of the beach! We went there for lunch and had good service. Food and drinks tasty. We had Oysters Rockefeller.

Friendly staff, face masks, sanitizer, social distancing. The cold boiled shrimp, margaritas, and fried shrimp were excellent. Haven't dined out much since quarantine and felt safe here. Absolute joke of an establishment. I feel terrible for any future customers. For starters, you have the most miserable employees I've ever met. The attitudes were disgusting. We waited over an hour just for our drinks. Half of the food. When we finally decided to go inside and ask for an update, our server was sitting at the bar having a jolly good time with the bartender. She then tells me "Oh we don't have the alcohol for some of the drinks you ordered, I don't even know if you got any drinks yet." What? I ask for the tab and she sits back down at the bar. We ask for the manager. Manager never came out. How can I put this nicely? Y'all suck and I can't understand how this place is still open. read more

Located right on the beach and the atmosphere was good. Food was not anything I'd crave and want to go back for. The mozzarella sticks and sauce were good (asked for ranch and was brought tartar sauce multiple times), the shrimp poboy with onion rings was just ok and the Chipotle shrimp pasta was extremely bland- not even a hint of chipotle whatsoever. 2 stars for the location and mozzarella sticks, otherwise a 1 would suffice. read more

Wow, even with the limited menu and SD seating this place is amazing. First, our waitress Veronica was super. Very helpful and quick to provide great service. The oysters on the half shell were some of the best we've ever had. The fried boudin balls were so tasty. The kids had hamburgers and devoured them (be careful they fry and chicken and french fries in the same oil as the shrimp... yikes if your kid has a seafood allergy). Sent back the friend jalapeños stuffed with crab; cold and not very good. We ordered a Miami Vice - A+, Hurricane - B and a SOB -B. They ran out of pina colada so only one MV. Upon arriving we had to step over a huge black dog to get to our table. Red flag 1. I ordered a dozen oysters on half shell. Website had one price but they said the were actually 6 dollars more since they said they haven't updated their website. Jose, the waiter rarely showed himself. When he brought our food he told us they were short on silverware and they were washing some. 10 minutes later after our food had gotten cold he finally brought us some. One member of our party did not receive her food until about 30 minutes after we had all finished eating our cold food. We had dirty dishes everywhere and Jose acted putout when I asked him if he could pre-bus the table and take some of the dishes. When we brought all these discrepancies up to the manager her attitude was somewhere along the line of so sorry, oh well! This place obviously caters to the local town drunks as it becomes a club after 10. It certainly not known for its food. I will never set foot in this establishment again. Due to recent negative reviews, I had zero expectations on being seated in a timely manner as well as expecting to be forgotten about once seated. I guess management wanted to see a change because we were seated pretty quickly (it was a Friday night so I was surprised by that) and the waitresses checked on us several times. I loved this place. On a slow day it's a nice get away. The crab stuffed jalapeños had a nice kick.

As we pulled up, there were three police officer vehicles breaking up a fight outside. That should have been our first clue to move on but we were hungry and chalked it up to drunk tourists. Upon entering, this place is a combo tiki bar, strip club, head shop. The female staff members were barely clothed. Tables were dirty, stuff was dripping from the ceiling while we were eating, and they charged $3 for water. There are fun dollar store decorations hanging and you can have CBD added to any drink for a nominal fee. If that isn't enough, there's a whole display counter of CBD products available. When my burger arrived the server looked confused when I asked where all burger toppings were. "Oh, did you want those?" He asked with every ounce of sincerity. Um... yeah. Sure did. The food was ok but the fries were really good which is the only reason this gets an extra star. Surfside really could do a LOT better for their visitors. read more

The fish was ok. Nothing special. It is time to change the cooking oil. The onion rings are not eatable. No fresh brewed ice tea. No fountain drinks. The Tabasco sauce is cut with something. It's very watery. It's like they are squeezing every penny they can out the place. Service was okay. But good service never makes up for bad food. I am in town for the holidays and decided to give this place a try with some friends. Terrible service. Drinks took around 30 minutes to come out and there were maybe 5 tables in the whole restaurant. Server never came to our table to check on us, it took 15 minutes to even get greeted. I would also recommend the fried jumbo shrimp and fries, all good stuff. Specialty cocktails can be a dice roll and usually the fruity drink menu is straight sugar and mixers. Absolutely the worst. We were considering a chose of this restaurant or Seahorse Bar and Grill. Unfortunately we made the wrong choice first time. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak - all I can say is don't. It was thin and tough and they didn't even have a knife for me to cut with. Coleslaw was warm. My friend noticed she was charged $2 for water. She was told it was bottled water, however she was not brought the water bottle to open and pour herself or even advised she would be charged for water.
