    Happy hour menu

This location is on the 48 street car line and the stop is right out front. Happy hour is all week with $1 off all items. The cheese curds are addictive (you have been warned). The service is always amazing. The food and people are amazing. Heath's playlist is on point so you bounce to the music inside or outside on their patio while you are watching the games on tv or the pool games that are going on.

I brought it down a star even though the food was great, so I feel bad about that. The cook with the grey hair and long beard takes pride in his work, and the burgers are consistently the correct cooking temp depending on what you ask for. But man, I wish the bartenders were more customer oriented. I mean they are...with the people you can tell they know. Some folks even came in specifically because it was a bartender's birthday, and that's supportive and sweet and I love it. But everyone still has to be at work and take care of customers that have only been 4 times, too. And also, someone was smoking in there and nobody said anything. Pretty gross. Otherwise it would've been at least a 3 star experience. 5 if I can get a bartender to prioritize me a little.

A hidden gem I was introduced to by my friends who were attending University of New Orleans back in the day. I was a newcomer from Hawaii and ready to explore all that the city had to offer.

Why ask how we would like our burgers cooked (medium well/slight pink) if they will come out undercooked anyway? After Jazz Fest one night, we ordered drinks here, played songs on TouchTunes and played pool ($1.50.) We then ordered boudin egg rolls and burgers to-go. The burger was severely undercooked (pics attached) so we were very disappointed when we got home with the order. This place is known for their burgers so I'm not sure why ours was not cooked properly. We could not eat it for fear of getting sick.

I've been coming here for 8 years and the burgers never miss. With 9 burgers on the menu at any given time and a BotM, Beachcorner is a great neighborhood bar and grill when you're craving a burger or any of their other sandwiches and salads and a long list of appetizers. Happy hour is from 11 am-7 pm. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of TVs with closed captioning to watch the game and billiard tables in the back to keep you entertained.

We live near Beachcorner and I always comment we should try it out and after 2 years we finally did! We got an order of loaded potato skins to start and they were delicious. I've been craving a bacon and bleu cheese burger since DMAC's closed and wow this one hit the spot. It's confusing when they ask for how you want your burger cooked and every single burger at our table was well done even though we didn't order any as well done. The cheese fries were good but I preferred the potato skins. The service at the bar was quick!

This place used to be my go to; but I've been disappointed the past couple times because they now put inconsistent and pricey gratuity charges on their to go orders. The first time it was a young man who charged 20 percent, this time a woman charging 15 percent. I always tip well since I've worked in the restaurant business plenty, but taking away the choice to tip with a forced gratuity ON TO GO ORDERS is pretty crazy, especially when the menu currently says they only charge 25 cents extra for to go orders...they should at least be up front about it. It's just bad business.

Popped in for lunch on a rainy Saturday. Place was pretty busy. Order at the bar and pick a table or belly up to the bar. Bartender is friendly. After we got our drinks we noticed a sign that said "small grill, food can take 45 minutes". So we walked up the bar side by the front door and ordered our food: I chose the bacon and bleu burger and sweet potato fries. My husband opted for the burger of the month - pizza burger and onion rings. Well the food did take a little bit, but it was worth it. Big juicy burger patties served hot and dressed. The blue cheese crumbles were delicious and the bacon was cooked nicely. The onion rings were just how I like them - thick and lots of breading and the sweet potato fries were excellent- slightly crispy but not burnt and not soggy at all. Great cooking! I would definitely come back for the burgers again. Chill atmosphere- there was a retirement party or birthday party going on in the back area and everyone was having a good time.

I went here to watch the game and heard the burgers were good. They're pretty good, huge. The meat doesn't really have any seasoning. it just tastes like straight hamburger meat. But it was still good, those potato skins are delicious. I also had a beer, then some wine. Everyone in there was pretty cool. Service is slow it took like 30 minutes or more for us to get our food. They have these two TVs near the pool table which you might as well render useless because they also have these Neon lighted signs and they reflect on the TV so you basically are watching TV with reflectors on them. There are other TVs around the bar tho. Its just those two that have reflection. They have a back patio where you can smoke it's a really chill area it'd be dope if they put a TV back there. All in all, it's a chill place. I have to add that I ate my leftovers the next day, tasted better than the first day.

The ambiance of the restaurant is darker than I would like, but a great dive bar to go to after work. Service at the bar is always great. Bar does have a lot of regulars that are always in attendance. The burgers are amazing for the price. Great place whenever you need just go ole drunk food.

Nice dive bar atmosphere. Customer service was nice and good came out pretty quick. My burger was good, a bit charred but it wasn't too bad. Broccoli bites were cooked perfect!

The bar has a bartender, not mixologist, who makes drinks that I can make better at home. The little drinks are served un-garnished in tiny plastic cups and cost $15+. Not to mention they will take whatever tip amount they like out if you forget to close your tab. Yes, I learned some things about the culture and people of New Orleans and I got a few good pictures but I wouldn't recommend this at all. I was hoping to get a picture with my sister as indicated on the website but I didn't see anyone offer that or see it as an option once we made it there. I thought the mini story in the elevator was fun, short of course but they need to restructure this place I honestly was unimpressed. The website suggest it takes an hour and a half to experience the whole place, we walked the whole place, took pictures, watched 2 videos in well under an hour and a half. The employees were very nice and helpful; maybe I expected to much of Vue but I say temper your expectations.

(5 stars) Service: Usually just a single bartender, except during shift changes, but the place is small enough, that is more than enough. All the 'tenders are friendly and efficient. (5 stars) Facilities: Martine's is located in a strip mall along Metairie Road. It's easily accessible from the Bonnebel exit off I-10. Signage is ample, but you have to be familiar with the turns along the street to be prepared to find it. There is some parking out front, and, as one goes to bars mainly at night, there isn't any competition for space then. There is a pool table, video poker, and what looks to be a non-functioning/unplugged pinball machine (never asked about it). The inside is smallish, and can probably hold about 50 people seated, including tables and bar stools. There is also outside seating available. It's clean, but, for whatever reason, the cigarette smoke lingers in the place. The management is aware and tries to work with customers on this angle.
