From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly caring. I have an older dog named Sammie who can be a little set in her ways, but Meg and Nina Marie were so gentle and thoughtful with her. They came every day to feed her, take her on walks, and sent me updates with photos and texts after every visit. I could tell Sammie felt completely safe with them. She waited by the door every day for their arrival (as seen on the Ring camera), which melted my heart. They also helped with little things around the house, like rolling in the trash cans, and I came home to a perfectly clean and calm home. Jay, the owner, is extremely responsive and easy to work with, which made the whole experience even smoother. If you're looking for someone to care for your pets the way you would, this is your team. I felt totally at ease knowing Sammie was in such capable, loving hands.

Rob was referred to us by our vet, who we trust implicitly. He house sat our dogs on a few occasions within the last year when we were out of town, with the understanding he would stay in our house. Our last time using Rob was very beginning of January 2026. We were happy to open our home to Rob, having him bringing his dogs to keep our dog company as we recently lost one of our two. Needless to say we were in good communication throughout our trip between texts and pictures, usually a few time a day. When we arrived home at 11:45pm from our trip, upon opening our front door we immediately saw a huge dent in our new refrigerator, on the right side door- something so large it could be seen from about 25-30 feet away. I immediately texted Rob, asking what happened to our refrigerator- he said he "omg forgot to tell you" on that morning, he asked his partner to "throw him his phone" from across the kitchen and missed it. He then attempted to fix it himself, was unsuccessful in doing so. This seemed to obviously have some important information missing and/or intentionally misrepresented. The refrigerator also had a few smaller dings further down on it that were not there on the same, right side, now-damaged door. Rob did not respond to our inquiry as to how they happened (not from a phone, for sure). Additionally, the protective film was peeled off- which when asked about, we were told it happened when Rob tried to pull the dent out. Rob then failed to respond WHY THE PROTECTIVE FILM WAS ALSO PEELED OFF THE OTHER, LEFT SIDE, PERFECTLY GOOD AND UNDAMAGED DOOR WHEN ASKED WHY HE DID THAT. After ducking the questions he then apologized and stated he would take care of the issue. At no point in the process did Rob offer any refund for the $375 we paid for approximately 3.5 days of service as a good will gesture, nor any explanation as to why in the 4-5 texts we received that day from him while we were traveling back did he disclose that he damaged our home. Instead, he chose to try to cover up, mislead and hide his mistake- rather than stand up, take ownership and responsibility. The fact that he stated he "forgot to tell" us after spending time to go by tools to fix, deliberately removing film from the good left side door (because it was obvious that it no longer matched the right side without film) is such an outrageous falsehood, yet worse to think it would be believed, speaks to the accountability and maturity level well below that of an adult. This also demonstrates a complete lack of transparency and integrity as not only a business owner in a word of mouth, referral and trust-based industry where clients entrust Rob with their loved pets and homes, but speaks volumes about his character. At our expense and time lost, we had to have both doors replaced. This took a few weeks. When we contacted Rob after completion of work, there were multiple responses of hardship stating his inability to cover damages done. After demanding at least the refund of our $375 that was never offered, Rob tried to short it $75 at first. Save yourself from future problems- go anywhere else for you pet needs but with Rob.

I wanted to find someone who would handle him with care, someone I could trust, and, in turn, my dog would feel safe. I was referred to Rob's Roundup through my sister's friend. Rob is so kind, lighthearted, fun, and caring. I felt it would be a perfect match. It took a few visits for my dog to open up but because of Rob's nature and patience, my dog was able to relax and trust him. I love the updates I get on their walks. It always makes me laugh. I'm so happy that I have Rob's Roundup to rely on because I know they give the best care for my sweet pup.

I've never had a dog before. I picked up a stray doberman, and I needed to find some alternative way of getting him exercised here and there. I was excited to try Itchy Paws because of their reviews on Yelp, but it was a disaster. Albeit, a lot of the confusion wasn't their fault. I've never let anyone have free access to my house before, let alone complete strangers. Because of this, we decided that I would leave my dog outside in his crate in a shady area. I had only been in possession of the dog for a couple weeks at this point, and he had anxiety about being crated. When the girls arrived, my dog was in the neighbor's front yard, because he had apparently "busted out" of his crate. They called me to check on his status, which was great. Because he was not yet on a flea regime, they were going to take him for an individual walk. They actually posted a picture of him jogging on the beach (I think?) which was awesome to see while I was away. There was an issue about leaving him in the backyard, since he busted out of the crate initially. I told them that they could tie him in the backyard and that this would be fine. They told me that they would call me when they dropped him off, just to let me know how it went. I never got a call. I actually called multiple times and texted them, only to get a response hours later, that he was tied in the back. When I got home, not only was he tied, but they had pulled the heavy crate onto the lawn and fixed him a blanketed area. This was going above and beyond the call of duty, so I was happy to see it. My gripe comes on two points: 1) They told me they could not take my dog to Long Beach parks, because he didn't have a LB license, and this is required by posted signs. They advised me to go and get one from the SPCA. Well, I went to the Long Beach SPCA, and they said that I couldn't get one and this was completely unnecessary. The lady said my dogs tags were fine in any park, as long as he had tags. Since then I have been to numerous parks in LB and all over LA, and no one cares what tags anyone has or if they even have tags. Maybe it has to do with their licensing and insurance, but to not let my dog in a park, because he has licensed tags from a neighboring city is stupid. 2) Once my dog calmed down and I got him crate trained (no more busting out or anxiety), I called them again to ask them to take him out once more. I left messages, but they never called me back. I understand that their experience with my dog, and with me as well, I guess, was not ideal. But they knew going into it that I was a new dog owner and that my dog was a stray. I was disappointed that they took the unprofessional route of ignoring me, both at the end of the first service and then afterward. I guess it all works out in the end, though, because now my pooch is *almost* perfectly behaved, and we get all of our services at Bark Bark where we've had nothing but wonderful experiences.
