I have driven by this park many times, but I didn't realize it was separate from 'the parking lot…read moreof the Marinelife Center.' But, it is its own park, and it stretches from A1A Beach Road to US1! It contains: -a big parking lot that allows access to the beach across the street -a grassy area of pavilions and picnic tables -a pirate playground -the (elusive) entrance to the East side of the Juno Dunes Natural Area, which I wasn't sure actually existed. -a bathroom facility -its own nature trail This parking lot is a decent size with free parking. The pavilion of bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, especially if you are headed to the beach. The picnic tables are calling out for (kid birthday) party use, especially with the beach, playground and marinelife center all in walking distance. I came here specifically for the playground. It is shaped like a pirate ship. It has a sandy bottom. It has some swings also. It is not fenced, but it is set back from the parking lot decently and no where near the roads. I didn't get too involved with the pirate ship (because I perched at the closest bench) but my kids definitely loved it.

I found it by parking in the parking lot for Kagan Park and walking along the Lake Walk at Pelican Lake. When I spotted this walkway and sign, getting to go to the beach was just icing on the cake as part of a lovely park experience. The walkway from the access point sign to the actual beach is kind of long, but it is fully fenced on both sides, so very safe for little kids to skip along. It was exciting to hear the ocean waves become louder and louder as we got closer. Sweet anticipation! The path is fully paved with a very gradual incline, which is great for strollers and wheelchairs. At the end, a few stairs go down onto the beach area, but the water is full in view from the top of those little stairs. On the beach we found a couple of kite boarders setting up, but overall the beach was pretty quiet and private. I would definitely visit here again as part of a larger hangout involving Pelican Lake and Kagan Park.

It's usually not too crowded. This is where we would go to see sea turtles laying eggs. And that continues to this day. It's a great location and a beautiful park.

I loved that it offers so many activities in one place--kayaking, paddleboarding, the beach, picnic areas, a gift shop, and educational exhibits--all at very reasonable prices. Parking was only $5, and the kayak and paddleboard rentals were affordable too. Unfortunately, I happened to visit on a day with an extremely low tide. Paddleboard rentals were suspended, but kayak rentals were still available. The staff did warn us about the low tide and advised us to stay near the edges to avoid getting stuck. However, as someone new to kayaking, I didn't realize just how much the tide would impact the experience. For a large portion of our trip, the water was so shallow that our kayaks constantly got stuck. We had to repeatedly get out and drag them through the water. At times, the water wasn't even ankle deep. I completely understand that the staff can't control the tides, but I honestly wish kayak rentals had also been paused that day because the conditions made it difficult to really enjoy the experience. By the time we finished kayaking, we were exhausted and felt pretty gross from walking through the murky water, so we ended up skipping the beach altogether. Outside of that, the park itself looked lovely. There was a nice picnic area, a cute gift shop, and they even had a rescued sea turtle with a volunteer sharing information about sea turtle conservation, which was a really nice touch. There also appeared to be several educational exhibits throughout the park, although they happened to be closed during our visit. One downside was a pretty unpleasant smell near the gift shop, but I'm guessing that may have also been related to the unusually low tide. Despite my experience, I haven't written the park off. The photos I've seen online make it look absolutely beautiful, and I think we were just unlucky with the timing. I'd definitely consider coming back on a day with higher water levels to give it another chance. It sounds like a great park overall--I just recommend checking the tide conditions before planning to kayak or paddleboard so you can enjoy it at its best.

No way to get lost in there and it's not long at all to do the whole thing. Lots of signs around to inform you about the trees and nature. Parking it free in this lot and there was lot of it.

And it was $25 per person! Seems excessive. Take water taxi for $10 and save a ton. Edited to say captains announcements were not about safety, but more focused on the tips.... We just paid $80 for 9 min round trip ride for 3 plus $5 for wagon. No thanks.

Not only does this park offer free parking for the beach but it also has amenities including 2 sand volleyball courts. restrooms, outdoor showers, benches, a playground, and picnic tables under pavilions that can be rented. There is a large open field for play. I love Jupiter and the beaches are just one reason why. They are clean and life guard patrolled. Parking is plentiful and free. Right next to Ocean Cay Park is another beach park, Juno Beach with a fishing pier. It is worth taking the drive north to have a vacation beach day. When you are done with your fun in the sun there are great places to eat blocks away.

You have a shaded pavilion to sit down and read a book on your iPad. Yes it has a charger as well. The restrooms are clean. There's a volleyball court. And here's the icing on the cake, it's right next to a beach that has another long walkway for pedestrians. I was actually pleasantly surprised that I found this park, my original intention was to walk at another park a mile down in Jupiter which really didn't fit my need to walk a longer; bug free path with restrooms and at least garbage cans. Anyways this park saved my long drive and I have nothing but compliments. Thank you city of Jupiter for building this gem.

It has two lighted baseball…read morefields, a basketball court, tennis courts, chiki hut, picnic tables with grills, playground, and restroom. This is a popular place for people to salt water fish. This park has access to the intracoastal waterway so you can launch a boat. You must have a permit which can be obtained online to use the boat launch. You can also purchase a $10 onsite daily permit. They have a lot of trailer parking. A cool thing I saw here for the first time was a kiosk from Padl.com that lets you rent paddle boards for $15 an hour. You download the app and they send you a number to unlock the board. The app will map your route and give you stats on your paddle. When you are done you just lock it back up. That's a lot better than trying to tie a board to the roof of your car, I definitely want to try it out one day. This is a very nice park to boat, fish, picnic, play, and exercise.

The boat was spotless, relaxing, and so much fun. One of the highlights was anchoring and swimming off the personalized floating dock built by Captain Tim himself. We spent time snorkeling and even found beautiful starfish! Captain Tim truly made the entire experience enjoyable and memorable, especially for our grandkids, who were thrilled when he let them take a turn steering the boat.
