    Shaded break area.

Wonderful place to bring your dog!! Ample space, pick up bag stations, water faucets with bowls. What would make it superior is if they had some kiddie pools the dogs could cool off in. There is a separate dog washing area with 2 separate stations. Bring your shampoo and towel and voila your dog is clean to go home if need be. People were friendly. I did notice some dog poo piles that had not been picked up, just a few. Separate area for larger dogs. Shaded areas for sitting and a paved walking path around the circumference. Great for the humans to get their steps in as well!! Highly recommend. Go early or later as it gets extremely hot out.

Cinquez Park in Jupiter has quite a bit of history behind it. During the Jim Crow era when Florida was segregated it was a community of African-American residents who started moving from north Florida into the area and homesteading in 1904. Further expansion of the neighborhood took place after black businessman Peter Yancy purchased and subdivided 54 acres in the 1940's. The people who lived in the here built businesses, churches, and a volunteer fire station. They worked on farms, dairies, and the railroad and provided the labor for building houses and operating local businesses. Streets and the development took their names from places in Africa and historical black leaders. Cinquez Park is named for Joseph Cinquez, the leader of the slave revolt on the Amistad. In September of 2019, the town of Jupiter unveiled a marker in the park that explains the historical significance of this community that is one of the oldest African-American neighborhoods in Palm Beach County. Today the 13 acre park still serves as a gathering place. In 2018, three million dollars was invested into the park for walking paths, picnic tables, fishing catch and release in the lake, a dog park, a dog-washing station, picnic areas, and restrooms. Jupiter has taken an important part of it's history and turned into a place that can be enjoyed from today and into the future.

    My Maltese enjoying the shade.

This is a wonderful well-maintained dog park with 3 separate areas. One is for small (or friendly bigger) dogs, large dogs, and one that's always "resting" while it recovers from all the dogs. They rotate these every few months. I love the shade they provide and plenty of mature trees. It's the very best dog park in South Florida. Just note that it's closed in the mornings in Wednesday. Great people and great puppies.

Always go here with my dogs and it's actually very fun to see them running around with the other dogs.

It is a small…read moreneighborhood park tucked near the northeast corner of the West Palm Beach Golf Course, just east of Forest Hill High School and the West Palm Beach Country Club. It's named after Mary Brandon, a local politician who served on the city's Parks and Recreation Commission in the 1960s. Established in 1999, this park holds the distinction of being the first dog park in the City of West Palm Beach. It features two separate fenced areas--one for small dogs (25 pounds and under) and another for larger dogs. Amenities include dog-friendly water fountains, play tunnels, as well as plenty of chairs, benches, and tables for owners to relax. In July 2019, the city unveiled a brand-new playground, replacing older equipment with updated, shade-covered slides and climbing structures. In addition to the dog park and playground, the park also offers picnic pavilions, a baseball field, restrooms, and a large open green space that's perfect for running around or getting some exercise. I really appreciate how the city created a space that caters to both kids and dogs. It's a welcoming, versatile park that serves the neighborhood well--perfect for a casual afternoon outdoors. I'd definitely come back, especially if I brought my dog or just wanted a quiet place to unwind outside for a while.

It's perfect for kids and dogs. There is a nice playground area with a structure, benches, a softball field, a basketball court, a walking path, and open grass to run around in. For the pet owner, there are two dog "parks"/dog run areas for differing size dogs that are fenced in. When we stopped by, there was only one other car parked in the lot. It was lovely weather so I was surprised that more people were not taking advantage of the first sunny day in a while. There are some large old trees providing shade, too. We'd be here often if we lived in the neighborhood.

You could drive for 30 minutes and still not see everything! We stopped by on a weekday and the park was pretty and relaxing. Not too many people on the couple of trails we did. The observation tower is closed but they still have a nice boardwalk up to that area that makes for a great walk! It's pretty highly elevated for Florida - kind of impressive in person! Entry is $6 per car, and the lady provided a map and recommended her favorite trail. We checked that trail out as well (the white trail), but the height of the observation tower trail was really the star! We decided to drive around after doing both trails, and we saw their campgrounds. So surprising at how busy this place was! It seemed there was hardly an empty spot! Must be a happening place to camp! We'd definitely return for more adventures, as this is a cool park!
