Fair amount of people (not "just" a dog beach), and as stated previously, never A LOT of dogs. Doesn't feel packed like other dog beaches, and no designated "times" or days for the dog beach (unlike the dog beach at Spanish River Park in Boca). Most people seem aware of their surroundings, but of course you'll meet a difficult owner or nasty dog every now and again. Overall I haven't had any problems (that often come with off-leash areas). Parking seems easy to find no matter what time of the day (couple of parking lots, and lots of street parking), and is FREE!! The water is usually clean and free of seaweed and sea pests. The palms were bent in the wind with their frons embracing the green coconut's husk as a gecko clung to the vines that strung across its trunk in rhythm with the gull's screeching songs as they glide in search of their next snack. They say these are the perfect days and they may be for most but I consider myself an in-perfectionist so the foot prints that stain the sand and the confusing weaves of the man-groves that border the dunes providing shelter for the innocent creatures is what stirs me. I love that the product here is it's beautiful and that could never disappoint, I'm sure there were others here but that never distracted my focus so let this place overwhelm your senses and hydrate your soul. If you're here for the day embrace your fortune, if only for a moment then take your communion or penance because this place can change you - the ocean is tranquil, some say zen but that's above my pay grade I just came here to take in the phenomenon of nature...

Traveled to "Jupiter" looking for a nice beach as I heard their beaches are clear and clean…read more. stumbled across this beach park. There was plenty of parking, which we liked. The boardwalk was closed for repairs so we had to walk thru the sand with our stuff (coolers etc). Part of the beach was on a small like hill, you had to jump down to get towards the water which was annoying. The beach was filled with seaweed. I did like there was a lifeguard on duty. It wasn't crowded for a Sunday. Probably won't be back to this one.

I let her run and play and in her nature she was in the bushes hunting. I was watching her, playing with her, and keeping her close. She was brought into the VET ER today after she was playing in the bushes hunting and came face to face with an extremely deadly and dangerous Bufo toad. EXTREMELY TOXIC TO ALL DOGS. She was having horrible seizures, foaming at the mouth and hyperventilating. If I wasn't watching her at this "Safe & Fanced in" dog park she would've died. I know there's very little you can do about them showing up. But just the simple fact it lives there, probably 20 dogs came in a out in that hour I was there is extremely dangerous. WATCH YOUR PET. Cool park! We drive by often and it's always something we've wanted to stop and check out. I had no…read moreidea this park is so huge! You could drive for 30 minutes and still not see everything! We stopped by on a weekday and the park was pretty and relaxing. Not too many people on the couple of trails we did. The observation tower is closed but they still have a nice boardwalk up to that area that makes for a great walk! It's pretty highly elevated for Florida - kind of impressive in person! Entry is $6 per car, and the lady provided a map and recommended her favorite trail. We checked that trail out as well (the white trail), but the height of the observation tower trail was really the star! We decided to drive around after doing both trails, and we saw their campgrounds. So surprising at how busy this place was! It seemed there was hardly an empty spot! Must be a happening place to camp! We'd definitely return for more adventures, as this is a cool park!

There are plenty of covered picnic areas as well as pavilions and a gazebo that can be rented Next to the park is a new, 4 million dollar recreation center that offers camps and community events. The Constitution Park playground was dedicated in 1996 to Christina Holt, a victim of child abuse. Christina was discovered in a shallow grave in northern Palm Beach County after being beaten and placed there by here stepfather, Walter John Zile. He was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated child abuse. There is a plaque honoring Christina in the park.

But at the risk of breaking a hip it was more than worth it. Imagine sitting on the beach with the waves coming in and the breeze blowing as you relax petting your dog!! It's amazing how fast a couple of hours can go by. By the way parking at the beach in Florida is nowhere near as hard or complicated as it is in California!!
