Can't wait to read this on the beach! What a dream
Monika B.

Cute, cozy, and quite the selection of books. I've stopped in twice, and loved it both times. The staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly anytime anyone has needed something. I really do adore it and wish I lived a whole heck of a lot closer.

This charming two story book shop is a readers delight. The couch upstairs a welcome sight for this older shopper after climbing the stairs. I'm happy to say I found exactly what I was looking for. The staff was kind and not pushy. All subjects covered in a kindly small town energy without the dusty library smell! Big picture windows allow lots of light and a nice view of the sky overhead and neighborhood shops. I will need to stop again soon.

Love this beach bookstore right near the beach in seaside. Very reasonably priced, lots signed by authors, local authors. Enjoyed the ambiance and selection.

Lovely bookstore. Has everything you'd need. It's on the smaller end but hey. It still has more than you could ever read in your lifetime.

Such a cute little shop, and it is attached to the bakery/coffee shop. This gives you some time to be able to get some food and drink and let the kids read and shop (all though they all ask for every book and item ever every 5 seconds...) This is a cool place to stop in especially if you are on a little vacation and want to spoil the people around you without dealing with amazon etc. I am not a huge 'book' guy, as I am sure you can tell from reading my reviews. I will say that I am always impressed with these types of well rounded gift/book shops. I look around and act like I am well read, making 'hmmm' noises and going 'indeed' :)

Where's Waldo?

This is the most amazing bookstore right near the beach. I had a blast wandering around and looking at books and picked up a few good little reads for on the beach. Also, not sure if this is hidden there on purpose or if that's just where it ended up, but a nice little Where's Waldo? from the second floor!

This sweet little bookstore really touched my heart today. That is so truly unusual. My son saw the…read morebookstore when we were walking around town but we missed the closing time two days in a row. My son loves books and bookstores so we made an effort to get there today. We walked in 5 minutes before closing because I missed that they closed at 4 when I had remembered 5 (my issue). The staff politely let us know it was almost closing time. The staff was thoughtfully helping people with suggestions for different books and were pretty busy as the whole town was hopping. My son picked out a book that he knew he would like and another that he thought maybe was less important and decided on the sure thing. He then realized he didn't have his wallet. That was fine as I was happy to buy the book. When we got to the counter the staff told him about a program that gives books to special young men in memory of a special man who had died, from his family. My son has struggled with social situations and skills because of a developmental disability his whole life and the staff did so well with him and he was so happy with that book. He reassured them that we were happy to buy the book but they let him know about this young man and his family and that they wanted to do this. Honestly so incredibly impactful and sweet. I hope the family of that man is able to know how important their gift is.

Love this local, independently owned bookstore in the heart of Cannon Beach. The store has an…read moreimpressive collection of books thoughtfully curated and arranged in super helpful categories like "great beach read," which for those of us visiting the coast, sometimes we want an easy, light and entertaining read. I particularly enjoy perusing the large assortment of "staff picks," a great introduction to titles and authors not on my radar. The store has an easy and welcoming flow with shelves along the perimeters and round and rectangular tables in the center with books arranged by certain topics. It's election time so one table dedicated to current and past elected officials. Lots of current titles, gorgeous "coffee table" books with amazing photography, and classics. I always find something or many things here! All Covid precautions being implemented; you must use sanitizer when you enter wearing a mask. And limited number of customers In store. Other than that, it's book store browsing business as usual.

We were so impressed by the welcoming French style decor, the homemade baked goods and chocolates, and the array of coffee choices. Have a coffee, sit by the window, and read a book. Whitney and staff will make your experience welcoming and special.

I discovered this sweet little chocolate and tea shop this summer. I have visited twice, each time getting a different pastry and a chai. They serve chocolates, tea, coffee, cookies, coffee cake, bread and other treats. It has a whimsical old school charm to it. Lots of art, vintage books and an antique piano adorn the place. The staff have always been helpful, and the pastries and chai have been consistently good. They have good hours. They also have community outreach and offer enrichment classes. If I was a local, l I would sign up for a chocolate making class or one of their paintings / art classes. This is a great place to go for a break or to work remotely. It's definitely a must-visit if you plan to visit Longview, WA.
