I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

We've always wanted to try this place, and after I dropped Noah off at practice, I took the plunge…read more We always look to arrive at after 10pm, there's no way you're not waiting in line at that time. I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

Take the walkabout and wrap around the corner. Once you enter you'll be pleasantly surprised to see how cute it is inside. The front part of the entrance holds a cocktail bar that seats a few folks and you can admire their beautiful espresso machine. We were in a bit of a weekend day drink adventure so we grabbed a few bottles of champagne and appreciated how they served your juice of choice on the side. They had pineapple, grapefruit, and orange juice as options. I personally don't like overly juiced mimosas and prefer a literal splash haha. What made the champagne bottles fun is how they were served in branded mini coolers that had a retro feel to them. Our table started with an order of their fries and goat cheese whipped dip. That dip was superb and the table loved it so much that we grabbed two of them. They're normally served with toasted pistachios just as a heads up. The main dish of the dining moment was their birria grilled cheese. The sandwich itself was cheesy and super flavorful. I think the one thing that turned me off was the super cold consome. It kinda took away from everything and had me desiring more. Hoping it was a one off situation. Certain to be back so will be happy to share my returned experience. PS -- they also have a back patio space so you should totally grab a drink if the weather permits. I could hear the banging music from the bathroom so it was definitely a vibe.

I believe they just did not have enough staff for the day as service just felt slow throughout. The atmosphere is pretty chill there, but you could tell some of the servers felt stretched. Our server was nice and professional at all times though so customer service was excellent just slow. There was definitely long pauses in between different parts of our meal. Now for the food- it was really good. We tried some flautas which were pretty good, nice and crispy. I had the fajita skillet bowl and it had good flavor and was pretty filling. I'm hoping the service was just a fluke because that food is good and I definitely want to give it another try!

Definitely a place where you want to sit, sip, and stay awhile. We tried the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, pork belly tacos, and mushroom & goat cheese empanadas. Everything was good, although some of the dishes were definitely different from what I've had before -- in a good way! The lattes were DELICIOUS and definitely worth ordering. One thing I would skip: the café de olla. It was very bitter and honestly tasted nothing like the café de olla I'm used to. And the rooftop at the attached Hotel Indigo has STUNNING views! Definitely worth heading upstairs to take in the scenery and enjoy the atmosphere. But the STAFF!!! AMAZING!!! Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which really made the experience even better. Nayomi was the sweetest!! Overall, a really fun brunch spot with a beautiful atmosphere, unique food, delicious lattes, incredible views, and phenomenal service!

It's a cute spacious cafe with brunch-style decor, beautiful lighting, and various seating styles. The staff is pleasant and full of smiles as soon as you walk in. I had the lunch 1/2 special which included a half order of the chicken n' waffles entree paired with the jambalaya. The portion sizes of each were perfect, for me. The jambalaya was well seasoned and had much shrimp which was devine. The dish comes with an egg, I chose scrambled. As brunch girlie, I love a good cocktail! I got the Bloody Maria Made great by the way! It paired really well with the meal. Our server, Gabby was a delight! She was constantly checking in! Initially we sat inside but decided to sit outside since the weather was so nice. It was kind of dark & tight inside. The place is small. Outside seats around 20 people. The 2 of us sat at a table for 4. We choose our own table. We ordered the chorizo burrito with a side of fruit, churro waffle, strawberry lemonade, hash stack scramble with a side of bacon. The churro waffle was EVERYTHING!!! DELICIOUS. A definite must have for breakfast or dessert. It was a cinnamon & sugar topped crunchy on the outside smooth and soft on the inside. The best part of the meal. Burrito is served with a red salsa & a side. It was filled with chunks of potatoes & eggs. I didn't taste much chorizo in the burrito. I felt like the green Tabasco sauce would have been good with it to season it some. My fruit was fresh. The egg scrambled came with Shredded potatoes mixed in the egg @ spinach, mushrooms & onions under the egg & potato omelette. It was good. We got a side of bacon which was also good. Coffee & strawberry lemonade to drink. The service was quick and the food came hot & quick. We walked but there was some parking out front.

It's one of those places that makes you forget you're not in a bigger city -- it just has that boutique café vibe that's hard not to love. The food, especially the double cheeseburger, has always been something I looked forward to. Unfortunately, over the years, both the food quality and the customer service have steadily gone downhill. Today's visit was the final straw. I ordered a double cheeseburger, but instead I was handed a single cheeseburger and told they could give me the second patty later. If I ordered a double cheeseburger, then that's what I expect to receive. I'd much rather wait a few extra minutes for my full order than be given half of it. On top of that, I had to ask for condiments and silverware multiple times. Forgetting once is understandable, but having to remind the staff three times is frustrating and shouldn't happen. I left still hungry because I never got what I actually ordered, and I left disappointed with the overall service. It genuinely saddens me because this restaurant has been a part of my life for years. I really hope management turns things around, because this place used to be great. As of now, I don't plan on coming back anytime soon.
