I'm a little disturbed by another reviewer who made allegations about "vaccine" status etc as it's none of our business to know the personal medical info of a professional doing treatments as it in no way affects the client. You have more chance of catching hepatitis or norovirus from eating at an eatery than you do catching covid from professional skin services. Cassandra has always worn gloves and masks when doing treatments and to top it off she has written Covid safety and sanitation protocols for the esthetics industry that other estheticians have put into place in their own practice.

I texted Cassandra asking if I was in the right place and she said she'd be up in a minute. I waited for about 10 minutes when she showed up without a mask on which was immediately unnerving to me. On the door to the business is the photo posted below-her website doesn't provide any information about her stance on vaccines. Had she had made it clear on her website that she is against vaccines and the science behind them, I would have never made the appointment. Aside from her blatant disregard for public health, Cassandra was extremely rude to me. I left just a few minutes into it because I was so uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was being particularly rude to me because she could tell I was uncomfortable from her not wearing a mask/her sign or if she treats every customer this way. I've never been spoken to the way she did by a 'professional' in the beauty/health/wellness industry. It was as if she was mad at ME for being there! I thought maybe I had booked the wrong thing online, so a minute into her brash line of questioning I apologized and said, "oh I'm sorry I thought I booked a consultation," she responded in a condescending tone saying, "I know-this is me consulting you." It's concerning that this person is claiming a 'science based' approach to her work when it's very clear that she is not aligned with the scientific community. I'd caution anyone to patronize this business, particularly during this omicron surge.

Wow, there are some scathing reviews of this company. I will tell you the truth I have also had…read moresome ups and downs with American Laser Skincare in the past. I will focus on the positive and stay in the here and now. I paid over $5,000.00 for hair removal and skin care procedures. I paid it all upfront and they have honored my contract and number of treatments. The rules have change over the two years of treatment but I am told we will finish the course. Fair enough. My FULL BODY HAIR REMOVAL has been a real challenge. They use to use a different laser which I won't dwell on, just be thankful they have a new laser that works very well. It use to take two days for treatment and very painful. Now half the time and I can really see results. Pain is much less. Satisfied. Staff: I was seen Downtown Seattle for most of my treatments and the turn over with staff and management was extremely high. The Lynnwood office is much more stable. The staff is FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL. That says a lot coming from me and my background. Satisfied. Would I recommend the Lynnwood location for full body hair removal? YES Pay upfront if you can. Be diligent with scheduling appointments Show up on time, maybe a little early Be patient, this is going to try you but you can get there Be friendly and professional and it will work out

I was skeptical regarding any laser hair removal service - especially after reading all of the…read morehorror stories that people call reviews. I thought I would post my story for any of you out there that care. I have been going to the Lynnwood American Skincare location since October of 2012. I am a 31 year old female that had been suffering with an abundance of unwanted facial hair since I was 15yo or so. Due to my insecurities I didn't talk to anyone about it when I was younger and continued to suffer silently well into adult hood. I tried several things to rid myself of the unwanted hair - waxing, plucking, using an epilator...... yeah ouch!..... all failed. So everyday before I left my house I had to shave...... This year for an early Christmas present my parents offered to pay for laser hair removal and ordered me to make an appointment! LOL - I had tried to do this before, but had, had a awful consultation experience with another location or was it this one, under different management - not really sure! This time meeting with the girls at American Laser Skincare in Lynnwood, WA was a completely different experience. I found ALL of them to be pleasant, caring and great at what they do. All of them have been very supportive of my whining about the process... Face it... it's a laser - IT HURTS!! but there effective ways to make it tolerable. :) By my 3rd treatment (one a month for 10 treatments), I had at least a 75% visible, reduction (if not more) in the treatment area - which for what I was growing, is a HUGE amount. i no longer have to shave EVERY time I leave the house. No longer do I care, or have to check..... The freedom from the mirror and confidence these wonderful ladies have given to me is priceless. For all of you naysayers out there - this is my story and experience - this doesn't mean that ever person is going to have great results. In 2 weeks I go back for my 5th treatment out of 10 and was told at my last treatment that they are getting in a new laser machine and it is the Cadillac of lasers..... Can't wait to see if its gives even better results then I have been getting. Fingers crossed - I have a few stubborn hairs! Hope you found this helpful!! PS. My remarks to those of you who have posted negative reviews: If you've had a bad experience with these people or the process, maybe you should reevaluate your expectations and thought process. This is a service and these women seem to do their absolute best to make it work for everyone. ohh and if you have paid for a service(s) and been going here for YEARS..... then it can't be as bad as you are making it out to be or you would go somewhere else and forget about the money.... DUH!! Oh and appointments can be hard to come by because its a great service, in a great location with wonderful people!!! If you have an issue with them informing you about other services, get over it - this is a business and it is in their job description to up-sell. How do you think repeat business is earned?? They have asked me at some point during every treatment, if I am interested in getting (fill in the blank treatment) and I am thankful for the info but it has never been a hard sell or filled with pressure. It's just information.... like calling your cable company and them asking if you want premium channels - its part of the job. Finally - Please oh please, could every company I purchase a service from follow company policy and not cut corners to make a buck! These are procedures done to your BODY, wouldn't you want the people conducting the procedures to follow policy to make it as safe as possible for you??

He is a facial dr as well! then when I told her I have had radiess on 3 occasions before the lift and it took 1.8 size syringe to cover both sides. and at that time the bags were very noticeable so now that you could hardly see them I thought this amount would be more than enough and could probably use the smaller size. she refused to do it unless I paid for another 2. 1.8 syringes. . the rest of the staff is great but you can tell she makes them do the spiel about only having real dr.s do any injections. It appears by others having the same experience all she wants to do is up sell you. the sad part is even if she would have said I'll do it but it wont look good, she strikes me as the type that would screw it up on purpose to prove herself right. 3 other people have done it with the 1.8 and it looked awesome. she must be over smashing it down and spreading it to take more $. dont go here.
