Dr. King has performed LASIK for many doctors, athletes, pilots, professional photographers, and other individuals. In addition, Dr. King serves as the official LASIK surgeon for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks. Meet the Business Owner: Joseph K.
Dr. Joseph King, MD, has over 11 years of clinical experience performing laser vision correction. He has performed over 85,000 laser vision correction procedures.
Dr. King graduated from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Medicine in Vancouver, Canada in 1992. He completed a postgraduate medical and surgical internship in Victoria, British Columbia at University of BC affiliated hospitals. Dr. King's ophthalmology specialty training was performed at Case Western Reserve University, St. Luke's Medical Center, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident. Following completion of his ophthalmology residency in 1996, Dr. King completed an additional year of training in ophthalmology, which included specialized training in laser vision correction at the University of South Florida Eye Institute. He has completed numerous courses in laser vision correction. He is certified and has extensive experience using nearly all leading lase
