My insurance company told me that Lodo Physical Therapy- former name of this company-needs to resolve this issue with a refund. When I get a hold of someone here, I am told that they are working on it, but am never given a timeline. In December, I learned that the owner of the practice was holding onto my money because they were moving locations and funds were tight. This is just plain wrong. Posting here to see if some public shaming will finally make this refund happen. Would not recommend if you have to deal with them regarding payments...so I guess would not recommend.

I was ignored by the staff for a good 10 minutes while standing at the desk, when finally somebody from the treatment floor acknowledged me they said they canceled my appointment due to scheduling conflicts and they were supposed to have called me, but I have no messages from Atlas PT! I got up early to be ready and to be here on time and then disappointed that nobody's here to see me and that nobody contacted me to reschedule an appointment. I'm canceling all future appointments and I will find another physical therapy company to work with very disappointed in the service or the lack respect for your customers.

I love that you have an option to do an hour session- which is ideal to focus on multiple areas. They don't take insurance but can help with sending you super bills to submit to insurance if you have out of network benefits. There are also options to for payment plans or to spread out payments. It can get pricey, but it is an investment to your health and well-being, which is worth every penny! They have a holistic approach and target the treatment to individual needs. In my experience most places that take traditional insurance do not have the same philosophy and can only focus on one target area. I am overweight and never felt shamed or told to lose weight at anytime. I have not always had the same experience with other providers, so it was refreshing. Andrew got to the root cause of my symptoms and provided me with stretches and exercises to help alleviate pain and improve my workout goals. I am able to squat lower and lift heavier than I ever have before. My endurance for walking and day to day activities has improved greatly as well. I went to Atlas Highlands after a major back surgery for rehab. On the 3rd appointment I was made…read moreto wait 10 minutes past the scheduled time. Somewhat irritating but not a big deal. When I was called back the PT rubbed my lower back then had her assistant take over. I did two single-set exercises as directed and was told that I could go. I met with the PT and her assistant for a total of 12 minutes. I was in and out the door in less than a half hour including wait time. Only 12 minutes of actual physical therapy!! My previous two appointments lasted 30 and 25 minutes respectively. I cancelled my subsequent appointments and will never set foot in any of their facilities again. 12 minutes! That's shameful. They ripped off not only me but also my insurance company. No wonder why medical costs are so high.

Since I tore a muscle in my lower back playing basketball four years ago, I was never able to fully recover and get back to my active lifestyle of working out and playing sports. I was always in some degree of discomfort and was constantly terrified of re-injuring my back. I would see some slow recovery and then just a slight mis-movement would undo all of my progress. I had worked with chiropractors and massage therapists for a few years and would have short-term benefits but would eventually end up re-injuring myself doing the slightest things. I had never worked with a physical therapist before because honestly I just didn't know what they would do besides have me do things I already know (do some stretches and lift some light weights).
