Though I received pretty good care here, I have been emailing and calling this office regularly since October because I accidentally paid for a session through my insurance company as well as at the office. My insurance company told me that Lodo Physical Therapy- former name of this company-needs to resolve this issue with a refund. When I get a hold of someone here, I am told that they are working on it, but am never given a timeline. In December, I learned that the owner of the practice was holding onto my money because they were moving locations and funds were tight. This is just plain wrong. Posting here to see if some public shaming will finally make this refund happen. Would not recommend if you have to deal with them regarding payments...so I guess would not recommend. read more

Both Laura and Danielle have been amazing to work with! Laura is the first PT I've seen and I wouldn't go to anyone else in the future. I broke my shoulder from a dirt biking accident back in November and immediately started working with her - I saw her for 5 months and now have excellent rotation and strength back. She has given me plenty of at home exercises as well to continue building the strength in my shoulder. During sessions, she really listens to what you're feeling and is patient with your progress - overall highly recommend! Danielle also made the scheduling process super easy. LoDo Physical Therapy has been an excellent experience all around. The practice is ran very well, and keeps their patients engaged. I've worked exclusively with Dr. Phillip Wherman the past 9 months following ACL/Meniscus surgery, and my progress has been excellent. Phil challenges and supports me during my sessions, and I always know he has my safety in front of mind. It quickly became apparent that he is in-tune with all his patients, and pushes them at their own appropriate pace. At no point have I been pushed past my "pain" tolerance to regain my flexibility/movement. He also takes sanitation very seriously, cleaning all equipment immediately before using it. In addition to his professional diligence, Phil has a great personality and I genuinely enjoy spending time with him twice a week. Danielle does an excellent job working with you on scheduling, insurance and all other issues. She makes sure to check in with patients each visit to ensure future conflicts and issues are avoided. Finally, she has done an excellent job supporting mask use, social distancing and sanitation in the office. Visiting the practice, and the people who run it has been a breath of fresh air in a crazy year! I highly recommend LoDo PT to anyone recovering from a sports (or any other) injury. read more

I just wanted to update as now I have been going for 6 weeks. All I can say is wow...Nicole is amazing. She really wants you to get well and will do everything in her power to get you on the road as fast as possible. At the 6 week mark I had no pain for the first time in I don't know how long. So easily accessible by email and the front desk staff is amazing. A little awkward walking into an office building in workout clothes but the office location is amazing if you work off the 16th st mall. I'll be running by my bday-best gift ever. read more

I almost don't want to write this review because sometimes you feel like your secret will be out of the box....alas I love this place and the treatment I've received here has not only helped me in my profession it literally saved it. I am a traveling Musician, Dj, and Movie Producer which means I am on the go go go, lifting and hauling gear, such as amps, lights, cameras, guitars, stages etc you name it. I use my body 110%. I also jack myself up pretty constantly. About a year ago I started having a little numbness in one of my fingers and went and saw over 3 different chiropractors and one specialist to find out what was going on. All of them helped to alleviate the issue temporarily but within a week it was always back, until I met Phil Kofler through a mutual friend, who claimed he was more of a body mechanic than a Chriopractor. After 10 minutes he was able to deduce where I was feeling the most pain, and what to do about it. It wasn't invasive and bottom line it was like nothing anyone else had done, differently movements, different stretching, but all curtailed to what helped me the most efficiently. He's since adjusted me about 7 times since I've been introduced to him, and it's always after a long travel stint where I've been a little abusive to my body, but I can say that I would usually feel absolutely fine with not having to go back for over a month or 2, he adjusts me that good each time. I can't thank Phil and his staff 'Lisa' you rock, for their amazing professionalism and ability to fit a crazy-mofo producer schedule in when I need you. This clinic is clean, modern and the entire staff is very professional. After cortisone shots didnt work from a podiatrist, I was recommended to see Dr. Vanas for a severe/chronic case of plantar fasciitis. Dr. Vanas was very attentive and treated me with dry needling, gausha and several types of stretching. He seemed to really care about my well being and trying to get me 100% as soon as possible. I can't say enough good things about my experience at LoDo PT! I suffered a quad injury this summer in the midst of some long-distance trail running, and Phillip had me back to running in just two months. Phillip took the time to ensure the exercise program worked with my schedule, and encouraged me to find other ways to stay active. Every person in the office was so helpful and friendly, I always looked forward to my appointments each week. I wouldn't be back to doing the things I love without Phillip's help. I had an incredible experience with LoDo Physical Therapy. Laura was the 3rd PT I've seen for lower back pain and she helped tremendously. I start my Family Medicine residency very soon and wanted to feel strong and capable. She helped me achieve this goal. Laura truly cared about my improvement and provided a combination of effective exercises and stretching for my lower back. I highly recommend LoDo Physical Therapists. After struggling with Achilles tendinitis for almost 10 years, i finally decided to get it looked at. I was referred to LoDo by my massage therapist. I've seen David and had great success! I'm able to dance and do sports again without the pain! He has taught me techniques to do at home and when I do go in, he has been hands on and super knowledgeable. He is also willing to address new issues as they come up. Also, the office is small and organized and Danielle in the front is helpful and easy to work with. I have had two major, successful shoulder surgeries. There are two reasons why my shoulder surgeries were successful. One, I had a great surgeon. Two, and most importantly, I had Laura as my physical therapist to help me post-surgery. She developed and flawlessly executed a plan to gain range of motion back, reduce stiffness, and make sure that my pain was minimized. I am not going to lie; there were many days that I did not like her. She pushed me hard, but she never pushed me beyond a safe limit for my shoulder. She understood that time is of the essence after shoulder surgery to gain mobility back, and she pushes you to make sure that you make as much progress as possible in the first couple of months after surgery, which is crucial. I am a big believer that you should have a love/hate relationship with your physical therapist. It is hard work to recover from surgery, and you need to have a physical therapist that pushes you towards a successful recovery. Laura is the best physical therapist in this respect. You would be remiss if you did not use her as your physical therapist. I feel so strongly about her skills as a physical therapist that I fly from Jakarta, Indonesia, to Denver so that she can be my physical therapist. read more

I am really happy with LoDo PT. Last year I struggled with IT band issues while training for my first ultra marathon. With Dave's help I ended up completing my ultra 4 months later. He identified glute and hip weakness and various muscle imbalances and tightness. With the help of strengthening exercises, dry needling, manual therapy and gausha I was able to keep my IT band from acting up throughout my training. He also has a great bed-side manner. read more

I saw Laura Lund in the last few months of 2017 for treatment of a stabbing pain in my shoulder. The facility is nice, and they have private rooms for each client. Laura gave me a few very simple exercises to do to "re-engage" the tiny little muscle that was giving me problems. She also provided some "rather unpleasant" (joking...sort of) deep pressure point massage and dry needling. I had to go to my happy place a few times during these sessions, but the results of the combined treatments were excellent. Within 3-4 treatments and being fairly religious about the exercises she assigned me, I was back to 90%. I was so happy with the results that I kept coming back to have her help me with some minor aches and agitations in my hamstring and hips which are chronically tight due to my occupation that has me in a desk all day long. Long story made short, if you think you are a candidate for physical therapy, go see Laura. She is friendly and professional, and she knows what she's doing. Thanks Laura! read more
