I honestly was already nervous because there weren't a whole lot of reviews on him, but I had a friend provide me the contact info and he was open on Sundays so I thought it couldn't hurt to check it out. I'll also preference this by saying that I had already gotten my husband tested (his swimmers are perfect) as well as my Day 3 blood work testing done and everything looked great! I'm also at 18% body fat (so, in shape), I exercise regularly and eat healthy/clean, but my issue is that my cycle lengths are 45 days and we are thinking I'm not ovulating. We aren't ready to try medication quite yet so I thought this might be the next step...I was mistaken. Anyways, I'll TRY to make this as brief as possible: 1. It states "Free Consultation" but he'll schedule you for an "Initial Meeting" instead which apparently cost nearly $200. 2. I thought it was great that he was open on Sundays, but the office building isn't so we were stuck outside, had to call him to find out we needed to go through a random side entrance door that was cracked open, then the whole building is dark and creepy. 3. Once you get to his floor, he has you enter through the Laboratory door without being escorted (Umm SOOO not sanitary!) 4. There were 4 of us there with 11am appointments so I definitely felt like his time was divided. 5. He'll try to sell you on some herbs ($40), but he doesn't even know what's in them. Literally, when we tried to inquire further, he just kept saying "they're a blend of Chinese herbs. They're just herbs and they help clean out the spleen..." but then also never explained what cleaning out the spleen would do for my fertility. He also told me to take 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM, I picked up the bottle and asked why it only has 2 as the dosage and he's like "oh, I guess it is only 2...."?! 6. I think he has an out of the box answer for everyone (which obviously makes it not personal to individual needs/issues): -Acupuncture weekly so he can treat your phases -His magical herbs -Take a foot bath every night -Drink red wine only (he actually told me 4 glasses a week which is more than I ever drink) -Use lavender under your nose to reduce stress (oh and conveniently he sells that too!) -Eat fish (salmon, ahi and makreal, no tilapia) 3x per week -Eat red meat on your period and when you're ovulating -Eat lots of fruits (pineapple, kiwi, goji, etc) and veges (steamed) Yea, because lathering on lavender and eating a steak will fix my cycles/ovulation... 7. Lastly, I've never had acupuncture done before so I explained that I would like to know how the treatment worked and how it helps your fertility, and all he could say was "well, I'm going to treat you for the phase you're in" (follicular, ovulation, luteal, etc) but still never once explained how it effects/helps me. His motto seemed to be "I work for you" but I was not impressed, won't be returning, and won't recommend anyone else!

It was ruining my quality of life, missing tons of work, stuck in bed for days in excruciating pain, missing out on a social life, trips to the ER. It was taking over my life! I was having some degree of pain everyday for months and months at a time. I've had to make trips to the ER on several occasions so they could help stop the pain, it literally felt like someone was constantly stabbing me in the abdomen. I was prescribed Vicodin, which was horrible for me, but sometimes was the only thing that would help numb the pain. I would have to take multiple doses before I had any relief., I felt like my life was over! The last ER trip in March, it took 4 doses of their strongest pain medication and finally a dose of anti inflammatory to numb the pain, and before that trip I was given morphine, which made me very sick. It was a nightmare, and after struggling with this for so long, and almost losing my job because I was missing so much work, I decided to schedule a hysterectomy. I was terrified. That felt like my only option and I was crushed. I am 40 years old, and thinking of all the side effects I could face was devastating. By miracle, my manager at work stumbled onto the Frankenhauser Treatment while she was searching for medical supplies for work. After doing some more research I found Denver Holistic Medicine. After receiving 3 injections over a 3 week span I was feeling better. Soon after I started feeling pain again, so I came in during a time when I was having a lot of pain and Dr. Sturm gave me the Frankenhauser injection. I was in horrible pain for about a day after the injection, but after that I was completely pain free! I couldn't believe it. The pain was gone! It lasted for a couple months, and now I am getting these injections when needed to be proactive. I am happy to say, as of now, I was able to cancel my surgery and avoid having my uterus removed! I couldn't be more pleased and hopeful. I highly recommend this treatment for endometriosis, which has no cure. It has given me my life back. I am able to do things I love, like hiking and working on my yard, etc. My belly was always puffed out from being so inflamed, but now I feel skinny again! I do have some pain during the time i'm menstruating, and that's when I usually get another injection if the pain feels like it could get really bad and it helps knock the pain out within 24 hours! This has been such a long and crazy journey, but I am so happy that I have a holistic option to manage this pain. I haven't needed opioids, or to visit the ER, or even my OBGYN that was going to do my hysterectomy, for months and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Sturm!
