I started coming to Therapydia roughly two months ago to work with Cami. I am a powerlifter and it's definitely difficult to find quality PT/specialists who can work with powerlifters because of some of the specificities of the sport. I was having knee and hip pain due to not being able to activate my right glute properly and the rest of my body overcompensating for it. My squat and deadlift were struggling as a result. Over the last month I've had monumental improvement in my lifts, as well as, no more pain! Cami has made an effort to give me exercises that I can work into my programs. She's also done a lot to help me brace properly when lifting, which isn't an easy skill. Very glad I found this place and have been able to work with Cami! Before I go into details, I want to say, the PT I worked with (Casey), did a great job, and I liked him personally and the work he did. In fact, I liked him so much, I was willing to come here even though it was out of network insurance wise (my insurance benefits are 85% coverage for in-network, 65% out-of-network, so I figured it'd be like, only a 20-25$ difference in price). BEWARE: This place charges WAY more than industry standard. Make sure you ask for prices up front. I asked for prices up front and was told, "I don't know, it depends on what the PT bills," and just assumed things would be fine, as I figured it'd be at most maybe $150/hour. Googling I confirmed that Denver average PT prices are $75-150 an hour. They billed my insurance almost $300 for the 50 minute appointment. After my benefits, I still owed over $100. I have gone to 3 other PTs where I paid out of pocket, and all three cost LESS than what I paid here even after my insurance coverage (which covered over half of the cost). Businesses have the right to charge whatever they want, and if they want to be an insanely expensive boutique PT place, that's fine, but they should be up front about prices. Especially when the customer specifically asks what the cost will be. In terms of PT specifically, I thought Casey did a good job and I'd have been happy to continue working with him. But I switched to someone affordable in the same specialization (FMS), they charge $70/hr BEFORE insurance (my copay is $10), and they do just a good a job as he does. read more

Came here for a knee injury from training for a trail run race and got fixed up in no time. Dr. Kevin Rodriguez was very knowledgeable and helpful in each session and got me back to shape in three weeks. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I went here for several weeks in the spring of 2023. Everytime I went I paid my co-pay. They actually had my credit card on file and would just charge it every single time. Which I was fine with. But then a couple of months after I stopped going I received a bill in the mail for $20. I had no idea why but I thought whatever, it's only $20 and I sent them a check, which they cashed. That was the end of June. Then they sent me another bill for $20, I ignored it thinking it must have been sent before they received my check. But no, they sent me another bill for $20, and another bill for $20. So I called them thinking this has got to be a mistake. The woman I talked to said she would talk to the accounting department because "it was just $20". Now it is almost November and they are still sending me bills for $20. I am never giving them another penny! Stop sending me bills! read more

I can't recommend this place enough. They've gone above and beyond to take care of me. The front desk staff was knowledgeable, kind and worked with my insurance. They are up front about the cost. Overall the staff is nice. I went here twice a week for three months, I did not notice any improvement in my treatment. They do have a different approach than what I've had a previous PTs, whether or not that's good or bad I'm not sure, but it did not help me. read more

Melissa has been a lifesaver for me the past few months as I came in pretty bad shape with my back and while I am still working through the issues she's given me the best PT care I've ever had. She's listened to what I'm experiencing and what is going on in my life so we can tailor my sessions to support my day to day being a bit easier. How disappointing. I called in and made two appointments, a week apart from each other. Something came up so I had to cancel my first appointment. Mind you, I called 3 days ahead- plenty of notice. I told them to keep me on for the following week. I walked in today for my appointment and they informed me I wasn't on the books. She told me "it looks like you no-showed for the 15th so we canceled your 22nd appointment". No- it looks like someone didn't do their job and now I have to find a new PT. I've been seeing Casey McNitt for the past year or so for preventative treatment of carpal tunnel. He's very personable, and provides exceptional care. I highly recommend dry needling for any ongoing issues, it is manageable pain while being done and then a little sore after but I notice improvement after each treatment. Cami Hatch has been a sanity saver. 5 doctors (!) and not one knew what was going on. Less than 5 minutes with her and she had a theory and a plan. It is unsettling to be spoken to by a medical professional as if you are stupid and don't know your own body. After being told in a number of different ways it's all in your head, you start to believe it. Women especially face this struggle, dealing with arrogance and condescension along the way until we either go silent or luck into someone who knows what they are doing. I strongly advise women having issues to make an appointment with Cami. She is well-versed in common, BUT NOT NORMAL female problems and could possibly change your outlook on life. She can also fix your back, knee, shoulder, etc., but is the queen when it comes to the mysterious and oftentimes ignored female body. I am so grateful for her. read more

Two words, Aaron Page... After years of PT from 2 ACL Repairs, and then a Comminuted Displaced Patella Fracture, I've finally met my match!!! Aaron, since taking over my PT (after my 3rd surgery following my patella break) has been nothing but AMAZING!! He truly knows his stuff. I've been astonished by his vast knowledge and professionalism, not to mention his ability to stay on time with his patients, and we know in the medical world that doesn't exist!!! The thing I appreciate most, is that every appointment with Aaron starts with meaningful questions and each appointment is catered to what my needs are at the time, not to mention, having one-on-one time. Therapydia is great, particularly for their staff. Josh has been my PT for a couple months now and he is awesome. He is so attentive and really knows what he's talking about. Better yet, he actually explains every little treatment he incorporates into your healing program and how it affects your body. So I came to Josh after weeks of dealing with some low back pain after injuring myself in the gym - I had been to both a doctor and chiropractor at that point and was pretty unhappy that I wasn't really feeling any better. In my travels I have encountered many creatures from planet PT before and they all amounted to being valueless, worthless, and useless moronbots who only knew how to bill insurance conglomerates and hand out pulp-based "ditto sheets" showing you how to improperly manipulate yourself at home! Yeah, like *I* don't already know how to manipulate myself at home... wait... that didn't translate right... Regardless, the terran known as "Jooossshhhh" at Therapydia is the only creature I would ever permit to yank, pivot and twist my tentacled extremities without charging some sort of admittance fee! Joooosssshhhhh patiently listened to all my demands (except for my request to build a TARDIS out front #FAIL) and he was genuinely concerned about the well-being of your future alien overlord! He even contacted me over my hyperspace communicator link on his nutritional supplementation break just to see if I had resumed regular invasion duties or if I was grumbling in pain. At last! I've seen Casey at Therapydia a few times for wrist pain and so far everything has been great. Everyone there is always incredibly friendly and welcoming. I always have a hard time going to any sort of medical professional because on paper, I'm a pretty healthy person and sometimes I get the "you're in great health compared to most people, get over it" vibe...which is annoying. Luckily, that has not been my experience here. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm looking forward to getting back to 100% with their help! read more

I've had a very positive experience at Therapydia. I've been training at Vital Strength (the gym where Therapydia's office is located) for over a year, and when I started I knew I had some injuries to fix. I had neck and upper-back (rhomboid) pain from incorrect form during previous weight training, and Casey was able to help me resolve this. The dry needling paired with exercises and stretches specific to my issues have relieved my headaches.
