I would highly recommend Colorado Spine Therapy. My PT was primarily Johann and I saw Corie several times when Johann was not available. Both were excellent, highly knowledgeable, using different modalities which resulted in great improvement of long standing symptoms in my hip. I've been visiting Colorado Spine Therapy periodically over the past three years for my sporadic lower back issues. They were highly recommended by my Dr. and I'm so glad he did, it's helped immensely. The staff have been incredibly personable, knowledgeable, honest, wonderful to work with and , most importantly, got me through my lower back issues. They don't offer miracle cures, they work with you and you need to be disciplined yourself to follow through with their physical therapies on your own time as well. read more

I can't tell you what the scientific difference is, but I have used Stefan's group for years and can't imagine going elsewhere. That is, I went for a few sessions on my lower back and now never have a problem that his solution(s) don't fix. I went for something different, same thing. I joke he has magic hands, but I am told it's the training (and, of course, doing the exercises!). He's a Certified Manual Therapist and a Certified Mckenzie therapist, and a bunch of other stuff, trained in Holland. Over the years, i've experienced several injuries from falls and accidents. Surgery was an option, but my orthopedic specialist, Dr. Yanni Zinnis, suggested extensive physical therapy as an alternative. Id tried it before for hand problems and been very disappointed. There was no improvement. Dr. Zinnis specifically recommended Stefan at Colorado Spine Therapy. I made a series of appointments and although I had high hopes, my expectations were low. I met with Stefan, he did some assessments, and we got started. Two visits later, my pain had already started to subside. After 3 weeks and 6 visits my pain was practically gone. It may sound dramatic, but Stefan literally turned my life around. He was able to zero in on my specific problem areas and with a few simple exercises at home, everything improved dramatically. He is very kind, his "bedside manner" honest and caring. He really listens, pays attention and with his knowledge can focus solely on the individual. I have known Stefan for 20 years. Not only is he one of the best spine therapist I have ever met, he also is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. Stefan and his team always emphasize quality of care that is based on the latest research. The therapists at Colorado Spine Therapy always put the patient first. The appointments are one-on-one with the same PT, never with an aide or an assistant. Stefan and Jeremy are amazing! There really is no way to describe how their techniques heal patients. Before finding Stefan I tried 3 other pt's in Denver who had no idea how to help reduce the constant lower back pain. There is no going back and forth between patients. If it's your hour you are with your doctor the entire time. Over the past ten years I have seen Stefan for various neck and back problems. I was always very pleased with his thorough, professional and organized approach to my care. Following back surgery a few months ago I returned to Stefan for six weeks of rehabilitation/physical therapy. The back surgery I had was quite extensive, I'm not a young guy anymore but I live a fairly active lifestyle, so getting the best possible care was critical to me. Once again I could not have been more pleased with the care I received from Stefan. Each visit I find that he has planned precisely how I will spend the 40 minutes. He explains the reasons for the activities he has me complete as well as the exercises he wants me to do at home. The best physical therapists in the area by a long shot. I first saw Stefan for a back injury after experiencing treatment with two other unnamed physical therapists in the area. I was referred to Colorado Spine Therapy by Orthopedic Associates for a benign synovial cyst that was extremely painful. On Feb 27 I met Jeremy for the first time and left the office that day with pain subsiding to a tolerable level and basic stretches. I had follow ups that gave a half dozen stretches that eliminate the discomfort/pain 100%-. Played golf the last 3 days and did a strenuous hike in Zion's National park without any discomfort. Stefan is the best physical therapist I have ever seen. I had seen two other therapists for a back issue before I took my doctor's recommendation and went to see Stefan. I avoided seeing him at first because he was a little further away than I wanted to go. He is really a genuinely kind and caring man (and funny sometimes too!) and runs his practice to a high ethical standard. My appointments were 45 minutes with just him, no aides or other people. After seeing a couple of physical therapists I was really frustrated with my lack of results. I've been having an ongoing headache for the past 6+ weeks. Based on my previous experiences with PT, Stefan was able to quickly figure out the cause of my headaches, literally worked on me for only 10 minutes, gave me one simple exercise to do at home, and BAM. Headaches are pretty much resolved. Stefan has a wonderful demeanor, was easy to talk to and I felt like he really cared and wanted to help me.
