I have had a shoulder impingement type pain for years and finally decided to have it looked at. Alex was my PT and he immediately was able to diagnosis the issue. After he worked on it, I was amazed how much more mobility I had and reduced pain. The team gave me strengthening and mobility exercises to prevent future discomfort. Absolute pleasure working with Atlas and the team. Thank you read more

I stopped going to this clinic because of the lack of care provided and the disrespect surrounding my injury. This was over 6 months ago, and now they charged my card $243 without warning or consent. No itemized statement or any communication about the charge was ever made despite there being strict laws about this type of practice. I will be disputing the charge and reporting them to the state over this practice. read more

Bad experience with therapist at Denver Central Park Atlas PT who had multiple patients simultaneously and didn't pay attention to any of them; she was more interested in chatting with fellow therapists. Worse, she didn't follow doctor's PT orders that specified "no strengthening" and so caused injury to me. I cancelled all remaining appts over the phone with the front desk well prior to 48 hours and yet they billed me. I've submitted credit card dispute and will alert insurance company to erroneous charges. read more

Give them no stars. Beware of cancelling if it's not within 24 hours even if you show up they will charge you $75 dollars additionally your insurance will not cover for dry needling. They tell you that but they're lying so I had to additionally be charged another extra $60-70 dollar last week. You have to pay them right away before you walk out the door because they think you'll rob them. The lady with the glasses in the front super racist super rude ready to pick a fight. They try to get whatever money they can out of you and their exercises do absolutely nothing. Please go somewhere else where they won't scam you. read more

First time PT goer here! My OBGYN suggested I go after having a baby and this crew is putting me back on track. Both specialists I've worked with have been great. They've set up an online tool I can reference to do my exercises at home without question. Thankful I've found a good practice on my first try! read more

Atlas Physical Therapy - Physical Therapy Near Me - Denver, Colorado

See all

I've been seen here in the past and my 15 year old is being seen here now for shoulder trouble. Great care, professional atmosphere, and polite office staff. They really are very goal oriented. My student-athlete is seeing and feeling improvement after only a few sessions. read more

I experienced exceptional care and support at Atlas Central Park Physical Therapy with Adrianne and Nate. The office experience was organized, considerate and supportive. The facility was clean. The staff was exceptional. Most importantly they were able to diagnose my health issue and solve it. I would definitely go back and highly recommend. read more

Not for me. Office staff and doctors are nice and seem competent etc. I got the advice and encouragement to actually do the stretches that I was looking for and seem to be working. I won't be back because not only does Dr Lanton not work with insurance, he's not covered by my plan. I also won't return because I'm skeptical of chiropractic and cupping, and needling. That's why I chose a PT, not DC. I've had PT before and expected guidance and direction for stretching, and some massage. I got that. I also got needling that I barely felt, and a painful chiropractic move that left a bruise on the other side of my body. No thanks read more

Extremely satisfied with Atlas PT. Have been several times and have always had great results. I recently had a back injury with several sprained ribs and Alex had me back in action almost immediately. read more

You will not find a more professional, skilled, or therapeutic PT practice anywhere.. I got incredible relief & learned skills to continue to improve .. I have seen Both Amanda & Kate, both were terrific.. and the entire staff are fun & welcoming! The care taken to minimize COVID risk is very reassuring. If there were a 6 star rating, I would give it! Do yourself a favor, schedule with Atlas .. read more

Saw Kate for my PT and recovery after surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. She is wonderful and caring and thorough. I highly recommend her and the entire crew at Atlas. Thank you. read more

Alex is the best physical therapist I've ever worked with and there is no surprise he has such a huge following. I've worked closely with Alex over the past six months for a serious injury and there is no way that I would have recovered as quickly without his help. He is personable, knowledgeable and responsive. His entire staff is wonderful and truly cares about your recovery. If I find myself in need of more physical therapy in the future, I will absolutely return to Atlas! read more

Altas is top notch for Physical therapy. Dr Anne and asst Pam at the best at getting you right.

Top Notch! I think it is more important to get the right PT therapy than the surgery. I did. Atlas PT, Dr. Alex, and team (mainly Taylor) did an amazing job of progressive PT. The PT built upon itself and the work was cumulative. They worked me hard, but all for my common goal. They do a great job of listening to your pain, success, and progression. I was a patient for 5 months. I can't say enough about them, other than, Thank you! Scott in Park Hill read more

I've been going to Atlas for a couple of months to work on some issues with my peroneal and Achilles, and I've been thoroughly impressed with every single person who works at Atlas. I've worked with at least 5 people here, and they have all been knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, caring and cool. They remember who I am every time I come back, have been great at listening and helping with my recovery, and I quite honestly look forward to each visit. I've been getting dry needling done lately, and I was pretty afraid since I hate needles. Both Kate and Amanda have done an excellent job however with minimal discomfort and great results afterwards. I'm happy to have discovered Atlas, and I've been recommending it to friends and family. read more

Have had several injuries over the years that have been resolved with treatment from Atlas. Nikhil, Quincey, Frank & Dr. Alex have all been life savers and helped me to get back to my normal daily routine without any lingering pain. read more

Nikhil did a great job helping relieve pain by giving me easy to do at home strength and stretch exercises! I no longer have chronic neck pain. Thanks Nikhil! read more

Alex is the best physical therapist I have ever worked with and a better diagnostician than most orthopedic surgeons I have worked with.

Kate is amazing. I have seen her for two different injuries and both times she knew exactly what to do to help me heal quickly! I would highly recommend her for PT. They whole team there is friendly and easy to work with. read more

I had an initial evaluation here and got some exercises to do, but decided to find another PT. I provide this feedback to help others who might find the concerns I had valid to them. This also only applies to the Stapleton location. Firstly, the staff were friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with each other. This is based on the conversations they had with each other. However, since the office is essentially a single room and all the employees and some patients get involved, it's hard to escape the conversations. As I have sensitivity to noise, particularly talking noise, I had a hard time relaxing in the office. The office is small. The waiting area is right by the work out area and the tables are all in the same open area. There are individual rooms for consultations. I found it awkward that people were doing their exercises right behind me while I was checking in/out. Other patients were right next to me when I was doing exercises and I nearly hit one because he came right behind me to get something. It felt like everyone was on top of each other. I couldn't relax. The therapist demonstrated the exercises she wanted me to do, but then didn't stay to make sure I did them correctly. I can understand her doing that after I've been doing the exercises for a couple weeks, but for the first time doing them, I feel more comfortable having the therapist watch to make sure my form is correct. Overall, I couldn't relax because of the noise and tight space; and expected some more time with the therapist. read more

I referred myself to physical therapy to help manage pain with Invisalign given my TMJ. And, it was an absolute pleasure to be partnered with Andrea Guevara, PT, DPT. It's not easy to find PTs with knowledge of TMJ, and Andrea had experience from school as well as took the time to speak to her colleagues and network. I appreciated that she oversaw both my hands-on treatment and the exercise treatment for continuity of care. Plus, she was an amazing resource to share the latest science and discuss ideas for me to consider beyond PT when I meet next with my dentist and doctor. I highly recommend Andrea as you'll be in great hands. read more

In fairness I had a decent experience with them last year for back pain but had a very bad experience recently. I went in for help with a knee injury and worked with a new PT who did not listen to me at all. He repeated back the opposite of what I had said to him when explaining my diagnoses (i.e. he said "because you only have pain while running...." I specifically told him it was hurting all the time). I requested an appointment with a different PT at the front desk at the end of this appointment but when I showed up, they reassigned me to the same new person without consulting me or alerting me before the appointment. I requested to work with who I booked with and the front desk announced to them both that I wanted to work with the other PT, not the one they had reassigned me to (very awkward situation for me). At the end of this appointment the front desk person asked if I had questions, and then redirected my questions to the PT who I said I did not want to work with. read more

Amanda was great! She helped me with my lower back pain with various types of treatments (dry needling really helped my back). I didn't think my back could get better having a toddler climb all over me all the time, but it turned out some exercises targeted to my hips and back were the trick. Hopefully I don't have to go back, but if I do, I will definitely come back to Amanda. read more

Still awesome and amazing! Alex, Lexi, Emma, Becca and the entire staff are amazing. They care, are extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and awesome! I still can't believe I am making progress for the first time in 20 years! I have a genetic connective tissue disorder which causes many issues with joints that no longer hold together properly. Alex & team have made an awesome difference in my quality of life, physical function, and strength. I can't thank them enough for their help. Physical therapy is part of my long term health and I will be here for a long time. I couldn't have picked a better PT team! read more

I was pretty broken by the time I arrived at my first appointment. I worked the most with Kate over the 12 weeks that I needed "fixing". This included a period of time during which my symptoms were not improving, at which point Kate referred me for an MRI that completed the diagnosis of my lower spine as the root cause. And with the complete diagnosis, the PT attention and guidance adapted to speed my recovery. I will not hesitate to return for treatment, should my body call for help again. read more

I've been going to Alex and his staff for a few years now. I'm continually impressed with the work they do. I consistently get better, feel better and am able to get back to what I want to do quickly. I really don't know what else to ask for. It also helps they do their best to fit you in during emergencies or last minute appointments. Super helpful and I'll definitely keep going back. Or stop getting hurt which really isn't likely. read more

Great physical therapy. I started coming here a month before I had ACL surgery, and worked mainly with Kate. She was great and gave good instructions. I then continued going for almost 6 months post surgery to regain full mobility and flexibility. Through the ups and downs of recovery, Kate, David and Haley were very helpful and motivated me to keep pushing myself. Towards the end of my stint there, they expanded into the office next door, which really opened the space up and allowed everyone to spread out. My only criticism would be that some visits were frustrating, as it was not always clear on which exercise specialist was actually working with me so I didn't know where my exercises were coming from. Hopefully with the expanded office, and more staff, that won't be an issue anymore. read more

Heather is great! She took me from barely walking to being able to run again. I broke/dislocated my ankle last year and started seeing Heather once I was weight bearing again. I wouldn't have gotten to the point I'm at now without her! read more

I recommend Alex to everyone I know. I started going to him over 2 years ago when he was at the Capitol Hill location and I have stuck with him even though this new location is much farther away from my house (however it is a very nice building with a great view and easy parking). I have seen Alex for everything from whip lash to TMJ to hip surgery recovery and chronic back pain and have had great results every time. He really knows his stuff and keeps up with the latest research. He's also just a really cool guy. Atlas as a company is great too. They handle everything with the insurance and they have appointments in the wee hours of the morning and in the evening. read more

Alex was quick to diagnose my issue and his treatment produced great results beyond my expectations; I could not be more pleased! I will absolutely refer him with every opportunity that I have. Alex and everyone I dealt with at Atlas Therapy were helpful and I delight to deal with - five stars & then some! Mike M. read more

I had an injured QL, which prevented me from doing many of my favorite activities and workouts. Kate as my therapist, and Haley, who worked with me on my stretching and exercise refinement got me back to my active lifestyle. With any injury or doctor you hope to never have to go back, but if I do, I know they will get me back to 100% again. Thanks Atlas! read more

Dr. Heather Yandziak is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy Physical Therapist. After having shoulder surgery, she and the rest of the Atlas PT staff helped me regain my range of motion and strength in my shoulder very quickly! They provide professional, empathetic treatment and are excellent at asking questions and providing thoughtful, effective options to help speed healing. I would recommend Heather and the entire Atlas PT team to my family and friends. read more

PROS: 1. My PT Heather was great. 2. Location and parking 3. Easy to schedule appointments CONS: 1. There is a lack of professionalism in the office. Though I do appreciate a "happy hour" environment, I would like to be seen as a paying client. This includes the type of language being used. 2. The equipment available at the Stapleton location is minimal and often shared from one client to the next. In the 8+ times I've been there, I have yet to see anyone clean anything. 3. Very little privacy. For some this is acceptable, for others it is less inviting. 4. During exercises, the support staff will wonder off and not come back for a while. This is not a big deal in most cases, but having to wait around for additional instruction takes away from experience. read more

My wife and I have used Alex for years for a variety of issues. Alex takes the time to understand your individual issue. He also takes the time to understand each person individually so he can match his treatment and your rehab to your lifestyle. He uses a varity of treatment methods and works with you as a team to get great results. I have referred friends to him and they have always been equally impressed. If you need a physical therapist, you can't go wrong with Alex. read more

Went here to recover from a sports injury. Competent staff, easy to work with. The exercises, however, felt really light and not at all aggressive. It's not the kind of physical therapy that challenged me in any significant way. Among PTs I've seen, I'd say they're about average. read more

Alex is a terrific PT - he is warm and personable, and really knows his stuff. He set me up on a challenging, achievable program to help me heal my injury without surgery. The staff is also very knowledgable and personable, and patient. The facilities serve their purpose - a larger space would be more ideal when there are lots of clients onsite. Still, it comes down to the excellent care and guidance I got from Alex, Heather and the other PTs and exercise techs there, all of whom are terrific and really helped me. read more

I went in to see Alex after a full hip replacement. being a competitive cyclist I was nervous as to if I would ever compete again. Long story short, 6 months after my surgery I lined up to start my first race with a new hip. that would not have been possible with out Alex's help understanding and expertise. thank you Alex, you are a miracle workerYour review helps others learn about great local businesses. I have been working with Alex since my ACL surgery in December and he has been a G-d send. Not only has he helped me get my knee to a better place then it was before the injury; he has also helped me with some major back issues I had. He is great at explaining the reasoning and theories behind the different exercises and techniques he employs and is able to modify treatment really quickly. In addition to all of that, he is a great guy and I have never seen him NOT remember one of his patients. I couldn't recommend him and Atlas PT more highly. read more

I have worked with Alex Lanton to resolve a torn rotator cuff and labral tear in my hip which eventually created back pain. Alex is wonderful, incredibly knowledgable and practical in his approach to healing. I've never moved better, am working back into a rigorous exercise routine and with Alex's help have exceeded my expectations about the type of activity I can now enjoy injury free. I highly recommend Alex if you want to resume pain free activity! read more

I was beyond happy with my experience at Atlas with Alex following a car (totaling) accident. I started feeling relief after my first visit when I had been experiencing pain in my neck and whole back with a pretty limited range of motion. With weekly sessions, I was able to get stronger and back into regular activities in a month. As a first timer to PT, Alex did a great job explaining the symptoms I was experiencing and the recovery/healing process. I worked with Heather as well and there was excellent continuity of care. I would definitely recommend Atlas to friends or family. Very professional office. read more
