Great combination of stretching and chiropractic - both necessary to get these bodies back into shape!

Got there 40 minutes early and was advised then we didn't have to be there early since paperwork was completed and the call center should have shared that information. Staff was kind and Chris was very knowledgeable. He spent a lot of his time explaining the problem and solutions. They were able to schedule the follow up appointment quickly. Looking forward to some relief.

During the phone intake, a staff member asked about my "second appendix surgery," which reflects a concerning lack of basic medical understanding and attention to accuracy. Upon arrival at the clinic, a patient exited an exam room yelling profanities about one of the medical staff, referring to him in derogatory terms. Front desk staff did not appear surprised or corrective, even agreeing with her, which created an unprofessional and unsettling environment. Once taken to the exam area, I was again asked to verbally repeat the same information already provided multiple times. My pharmacy information was listed on two intake forms and verbally confirmed with staff, who entered it into the computer in my presence. I would like to acknowledge that the physician assistant, Chris Kottenstette, provided a thorough and understandable explanation of how pain responses affect the brain and body. I appreciated that portion of the consultation. He recommended a non-narcotic prescription medication and discussed two potential nerve block procedures, one of which I declined. However, the follow-through on the medication prescription was nonexistent. After returning home, I never received notification from my pharmacy. When I contacted the office, I was told they did not have my pharmacy information. This was after it had already been provided in writing twice and verbally confirmed. I confirmed the pharmacy again and was told the prescription would be ready after 5:00 p.m. Shortly after that phone call, another staff member called stating they still did not have my pharmacy information. In total, my pharmacy details were provided five times within approximately two hours. A week later, still nothing. The only action that appears to have been completed efficiently was scheduling a surgical procedure. Given the repeated administrative failures and lack of basic follow-through on a simple prescription, I did not feel confident proceeding with an invasive intervention. I cancelled the procedure. When I notified the surgical center of my cancellation, I was told they are "not at all affiliated" with Colorado Pain Care. However, publicly available information indicates that the co-founder and CEO of the practice is also associated with the surgical center where I was scheduled. And one of the office staff they transferred me to said she is a staff member of Colorado Pain Care and does office at the surgical center. This conflicting information raises additional concerns regarding transparency. I requested both the clinic and the surgical center email me a confirmation that the surgery was cancelled - given their lack of follow-through I wanted to make sure they weren't going to either charge me a no-show or try to pull one over on my insurance. But wait...there's more! A week before the surgery, I got a call from the surgical center confirming the surgery. When I read the cancellation email to them from their own staff member, they said they have no one on staff by that name. It literally came from someone with the business email address for Summit View Surgery Center. She then called me back to say, "oh yes...she does work here". I felt like I was in the twilight zone with everyone I met here. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and neither one of them are putting a needle in my spine. A resounding vote of no confidence. The website emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care. Unfortunately, my experience felt transactional and procedure-driven rather than patient-focused. Not to mention a complete circus.
