Over the last month I've had monumental improvement in my lifts, as well as, no more pain! Cami has made an effort to give me exercises that I can work into my programs. Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! I cannot say enough about the quality of care from all of the staff from the front desk to the schedulers, the MA's and of course Dr DeLaRosa....everyone at OCC went above and beyond for my care and still does!

If this review was just based solely on them it would be 6 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately I gave it a lower score because everytime we have to go to the downtown location, dealing with their horrible receptionist Azalea is more painful than the actual procedure itself. In all my years on earth, I have NEVER dealt with someone as cold and unprofessional as her. She has an attitude more fitting for someone at the DMV, not a business centered around taking care of children/families. Her rudeness honestly makes me so uncomfortable, I am going to cancel our upcoming appointment and reschedule at the Skyridge location that's 30+ minutes out of my way just so we no longer have to deal with her. She also does not follow direction well, we asked for a two week appointment, she tried to schedule us the following week and then rolled her eyes at me when I told her that wasn't what we needed. I cant prove it, but I am 99% positive she is the same person who scheduled us way too early to take our casts off, which resulted in a very painful 2 hour traumatizing experience for my kiddo that was unnecessary and resulted in having to put the casts back on. She is truly awful, awful at her job and awful communicating with customers.
