I am an Internal Medicine MD with a Functional Medicine orientation who caught some nasty virus last week. I tried everything I knew and all that my friends knew to no avail. Modestly confident, very informed, she guided me through what she thought, given my symptoms (I am 75 and felt horrible), and we decided on a plan. Her placing of the IV was seamless as was her clinical evaluation of me at the time. She was very, very present and attended to all of the appropriate clinical details (vital signs etc), and yet was actually quite masterful in making both my wife and me feel at ease. To my assessment, she functioned like would a true physician (not just a "doctor"). It was crazy. I felt 50%+ better in an hour and it sustained itself. On November 4th I suffered a pancreatic attack. It was acute and extremely painful. I called MIVC and Grant Mason responded immediately. I explained my distress and he was at my door within 15 minutes. He was on on the job, got my IV set and dropping. He then passed with me and his soures to ensure the proper meds were used through my IV to alleviate my pain. He stayed with me as I was alone, for at least 4 hours, until he knew I was out of trouble. His manners and professionalism are 5 star. Wednesday evening went a little too hard and Thursday morning was the worst hangover. I found this mobile IV and scheduled online for the earliest available it was currently 7:30am I booked for 8:30am and it was approved I was soon reached out to by Allison and she was amazing loving to me my kids and my large dog who wanted so badly to just crawl into her lap and give her kisses. This was my first time doing an IV by choice and I will say it SAVED my day. This was a medical visit for me as I needed some fluids to treat dehydration. I also received toradol and the relief from aches I felt was a real mental and physical boost. It doesn't hurt to add some vitamins! I wasn't going to take any orally for a few days anyway. My nurse, Allison, was excellent and there was no fuss. She got right to it-hit the vein seamlessly and then it was about 40 min and I done. I would definitely use this service again. read more
