She listens well and asks a lot of questions so she can really get to know you, and your health story. I believe that this is of the utmost importance when piecing together health mysteries. When labs came in she discussed them with me thoroughly and took the time to make sure that I understood what they meant. She developed plans of action for my treatment and was always looking outside of the box for tests, and care she could give pertaining to my health. She genuinely cared how my treatment went. I highly recommend her!

I had previously experienced the Life Vessel but this new creation takes it to the next level. As an empath, I found the Egg to be incredibly beneficial for me during a highly-charged time in my life. I've been traveling & public speaking quite a bit lately which tends to fry my psyche and brain. The Egg treatments really soothed me spiritually as well as physically. In addition, Gail Lynn is the most amazing guide when it comes to treatments. Not only is she well versed in many things that have to do with health & wellness, she's also someone who truly believes in spiritual energy & healing. The process for treatment is very thorough and I felt incredibly informed about what to expect, based on my own energy. In my first visit, there was a smell present after the treatment which we realized was my body clearing out from a serious surgery I'd had 5 years ago (the smell of anesthesia was definitely present) I have felt more energized and in balance than I have in quite a while. I will definitely be continuing my treatments as I move towards even greater spiritual growth & better physical health. As a 53 year old experiencing menopause, this was definitely a jump start to balancing my wacky AF hormones! Also, my mom had 2 treatments and we were able to determine some things she is suffering from, including Candida (not the Tony Orlando & Dawn song, by the way). Gail helped her come up with some diet change & exercise solutions as well. I highly suggest treatment at Life Center, especially for those in chronic health.

I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, integrity and follow through from Dr…read more Amerine. I went to see her for an acute condition that required follow through and responsiveness from her as my provider- I had issues, and I called and emailed Dr. Amerine but did not receive a response, she then missed our follow up phone call. She finally responded saying she had a family issue, and that never in her 13 years of practice had she been unresponsive- but I didn't have 13 years of history with her to benefit from this, I had one meeting, and then no follow-up, no phone call, and missed appointments. When I expressed my concern to Dr. Amerine about her lack of follow-through, she told me "best of luck" in finding another provider. Unbelievable.

I've had a totally different experience here--I'm absolutely gobsmacked by the other reviews! I…read moreswitched from another practice because I felt like a number there--my g.p. had the bedside manner of aluminum siding. She kept entering data in her little computer, and never once made eye contact with me. I'm over 55, and we "senior citizens" need to be coddled a bit, I guess--we expect to have our physician's undivided attention. That's just the way it is. Dr. Leistikow knows how to balance western medicine with a holistic approach. He isn't just a pill-pusher like so many other doctors; however, if meds are needed, he will prescribe them. Another bonus: he does hypnotherapy. This was a tremendous help to me--I can't even begin to tell you exactly how much it helped me. Without going into detail, suffice it to say I am a much happier person than I was at this time last year, and one-hundred percent more healthy--both physically and mentally. I have found Dr. Leistikow's staff to be very friendly, especially his nurse/assistant Martha. I have never, ever had to wait very long either in the waiting room or in the exam room. I usually have afternoon appointments. I've also had no trouble getting a "real person" on the phone in a timely fashion. If I have lab work done, someone follows up with a telephone call (usually Martha) to let me know the results. I've actually been to a practice where this wasn't done and it could have spelled trouble for me during one of my pregnancies. Being an old building the air conditioning does have issues, which is one of the reasons I only gave the practice three stars. Something must be done about that. The waiting room has been clean when I've been there. Yes, the decor is kind of tired. Believe me, I've been around: I've been in doctors offices from California to Maryland to here. I've experienced the good, the bad and the ugly, both for myself and my sons. In conclusion, it is true that this facility isn't fancy. But, all things being equal, what is more important: a competent caring doctor who treats patients with honesty and respect and works WITH them to solve health issues, or a brand-new, fancy-schmancy office?

Only after going to see Bret did I experience any relief. For three hours the first time, and after my second treatment it went away completely within a couple days. It was weird, but the way I knew it was working was he stuck needles in my jaw and my fore head and several other places, and 10 minutes after he walked out of the room to let the needles do their thing I could feel my ears popping, but it was a different kind of popping. I felt clarity in my head, my headache that I'd had for a week went away. I felt, or really heard, a kind of crackling, like things were moving inside my inner ear.
