At the time, my husband had just been laid off; and we lost our insurance. Dr. Rock was one of the only Denver area doctors who accepted Injury Finance, a company that works with doctors who are willing to work without pay until a client settles in litigation. Right from the start Dr. Rock was extremely kind, caring, and professional; and never treated my daughter or I as less than not having active insurance or offering payments at our time of service. Dr. Rock treated both of us, bringing us back to as close as whole after our accident as possible. He is well versed in sports injuries as well as physical injuries caused by other means; and actively keeps up with the latest treatments for various injuries, and is even in the know on new experimental medicinal studies. He really listens to his patients and shows he is interested in their wellbeing; and is always willing to talk through various treatment plans with his patients to help them decide which would be their best fit. About a year after Dr. Rock helped my daughter and me recover from our injuries, my husband was in great need of pain management for bilateral torn rotator cuffs; with one rotator cuff tearing again after extensive surgery. I suggested he see Dr. Rock after his surgeon informed him there was nothing much he could do for him; since there was nothing left in his shoulder to pin/fix ligaments back together. He has been seeing Dr. Rock since 2014 for pain management; and several months, and a lot of significant pain, ago he tried a somewhat new technique Dr. Rock took an active interest in, Stem Cell Injections. Even though my husband's injuries are irreversible, these injections gave him great pain relief; and a better quality of life than he's had in years. At the end of 2018, an extremely stressful situation, causing my muscles around my old accident injuries and elsewhere, began causing me great pain and limitations my lifestyle for the first time in several years. I went back to Dr. Rock immediately. He's been working with me for pain management; and has come up with myriad viable treatments and solutions for healing my ailments. I'm not the type of person who generally likes to medicate bodily injuries; at least not for long... I want to fix not medicate my body. Dr. Rock has been in constant search for that fix; and unlike what I do to myself, he doesn't shame me when I need medicinal help from time to time through this process. For anyone who has injuries or issues with pain, and is looking for an extremely caring and knowledgeable professional who listens to you and does his best to help make you whole again, I cannot stress enough, this is the Doctor you're looking for!!!

During the phone intake, a staff member asked about my "second appendix surgery," which reflects a concerning lack of basic medical understanding and attention to accuracy. Upon arrival at the clinic, a patient exited an exam room yelling profanities about one of the medical staff, referring to him in derogatory terms. Front desk staff did not appear surprised or corrective, even agreeing with her, which created an unprofessional and unsettling environment. Once taken to the exam area, I was again asked to verbally repeat the same information already provided multiple times. My pharmacy information was listed on two intake forms and verbally confirmed with staff, who entered it into the computer in my presence. I would like to acknowledge that the physician assistant, Chris Kottenstette, provided a thorough and understandable explanation of how pain responses affect the brain and body. I appreciated that portion of the consultation. He recommended a non-narcotic prescription medication and discussed two potential nerve block procedures, one of which I declined. However, the follow-through on the medication prescription was nonexistent. After returning home, I never received notification from my pharmacy. When I contacted the office, I was told they did not have my pharmacy information. This was after it had already been provided in writing twice and verbally confirmed. I confirmed the pharmacy again and was told the prescription would be ready after 5:00 p.m. Shortly after that phone call, another staff member called stating they still did not have my pharmacy information. In total, my pharmacy details were provided five times within approximately two hours. A week later, still nothing. The only action that appears to have been completed efficiently was scheduling a surgical procedure. Given the repeated administrative failures and lack of basic follow-through on a simple prescription, I did not feel confident proceeding with an invasive intervention. I cancelled the procedure. When I notified the surgical center of my cancellation, I was told they are "not at all affiliated" with Colorado Pain Care. However, publicly available information indicates that the co-founder and CEO of the practice is also associated with the surgical center where I was scheduled. And one of the office staff they transferred me to said she is a staff member of Colorado Pain Care and does office at the surgical center. This conflicting information raises additional concerns regarding transparency. I requested both the clinic and the surgical center email me a confirmation that the surgery was cancelled - given their lack of follow-through I wanted to make sure they weren't going to either charge me a no-show or try to pull one over on my insurance. But wait...there's more! A week before the surgery, I got a call from the surgical center confirming the surgery. When I read the cancellation email to them from their own staff member, they said they have no one on staff by that name. It literally came from someone with the business email address for Summit View Surgery Center. She then called me back to say, "oh yes...she does work here". I felt like I was in the twilight zone with everyone I met here. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and neither one of them are putting a needle in my spine. A resounding vote of no confidence. The website emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care. Unfortunately, my experience felt transactional and procedure-driven rather than patient-focused. Not to mention a complete circus.

After a single visit the nagging pain I was dealing with was totally and utterly gone. I didn't feel a constant strain in my neck and in addition to that, I was free from pain that was radiating through my legs and hips I had conditioned myself to assume was normal. Not anymore now that it has gone away! In addition to being a talented and effective osteopath Dr. Lopez is also compassionate and creative with his treatments. Each and every session brought me new improvements to range of mobility, and bodily ease and in ways I would have never expected. Clearly Dr. Lopez is equipped with a wide range of tools to treat all sorts of physical ailments. If in doubt, go see him. He'll fix you up right away.

My life stopped overnight when residual whiplash from 2 old car crashes and an annoying yet manageable level of headaches and migraines exploded into my now daily nightmare, complete with a host of neuropathic, vestibular, cognitive and other issues. On a recommendation, I landed at OIM, an open receptor with no great expectations and having never worked with a DO before. And here I am going back every week to see Dr Lopez. Others say they can feel the difference right away. For me, it takes a little time. Days even, before I realize what's changed. Some of them stick, others revert and need a little more help. Each one is a gift that I cherish. I still have a road ahead of me, but for the first time in 7 years I am able to sit in a chair without intolerable tension yanking on my spine and neck, to lie on a flat surface without having to shove something under my head to elevate it, to walk as long and as far as I choose without discomfort. For the first time in 7 years, I no longer accept a life where I am able to just physically "get by" while I mentally thrive. I have a goal now. I won't just be taking back my daily life when we're done. I'll be back to exploring life underwater in all its majesty, able to keep my head tilted back during dives and to carry that tank on my back. Thank you, Dr. Lopez!

I walked in with a TMJ issue as well as suffering from mold toxicity. Every time I come to Dr Saffavi with a concern or throw her a curve ball in my healing journey - she is ready for me! This is a biological dentistry; meaning, Dr Saffavi sees the whole person as a living organism. She uses 3D CT scans to see the whole skull and get a well rounded idea of her clients. They just introduced ozone to their practice and cleared out an infection from my ears/ nose and throat post surgery today. She uses a 10's unit, has a phenomenal PT on staff (Dr. Kelsey). She examines your breathing, body alignment and refers out to medical practitioners when the job is outside of her scope. Dr. Saffavi understands the mouth. One day, holistic care might be covered under insurance .. but if you do it right the first time/ you save yourself a lot of time and money. I recommend working with Aligned Healing/ Clermont Dental as your first line of defense. Thank you ladies!!
