He refused to give me any more pain medication to treat my whiplash and all over body pain, also my pain ebbs and flows which means there are times I need more pain medicine to get through and he refused to even do that although, he said he would take care of it when we first met. He lied. He's a terrible doctor. I would NO5 recommend him to anyone living with chronic pain on any level. He switched my appointments to what he calls "telehealth" appointments unless I had to come in for a UA and of course he wants me coming in for the money appointments + to just get by with complying with this state. His telehealth appointments are merely a phone call to where he barely speaks or listens to what's going on with you before. He gives me 10 kinds of hell to even get my agreed on amount of medication. I had problems every single month while dealing with this individual which only fed my anxiety and angst. He always seemed uneasy and spoke of people being paranoid, such as the pharmacy or the insurance company. If he were a competent effective dr. He wouldn't have to worry about people being paranoid. I had no idea what he was talking about because I spoke to my pharmacist. She had no problem filling what she had always given me as long as the doctor prescribed it she would fill it. I honestly do not know what his issue is or was. All I know is I don't need his BS when dealing with multiple autoimmune diseases, chronic pain in my neck, hands, feet and back. He never offered any solution to any of these issues! Instead during our last appointment he literally told me he didn't have time to deal with me and that he had people on hold and had to go. Then he actually hung up the phone on me. And perhaps? If my husband hadn't have been home from work that day, one might not even believe his behavior. But I had a witness and that's what he did. Hung up the phone and never called me back. That was a week and a half ago .He has to be the worst so-called professional I have ever tried to work with. I would never go back to him. + I pray other people stay away from this Maniac as well. A huge part of working with a pain doctor is trusting them to have your best interest at heart + this person not only did not have my best interest at heart But I also have a very strong feeling that he is up to something not right, some kind of ulterior motive. What they could have done is taken my co-pay and gotten it sorted out before a probable follow up or two. Instead of caring about the patent they lost one and made me feel played. Since then I've been diagnosed with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, very bad fibromyalgia. Their office staff is knowledgeable and also helpful, in that they will send you what needs to be filled out, paperwork-wise, or what you need to know before a procedure via PDF, etc etc... They specialize in back pain, typically, but they can do MANY different things. Dr. Bainbridge as well as the other body therapists and NPs, Doctors, etc are all very knowledgeable and can usually tell you if they can help you out with your issues, or if you may need to see a surgeon, or whatever else may be needed... but they will for sure take good care of you, and get you through the "process" with minimal bullcrap. They of course have to follow the rules and restrictions that the State and Federal government place on them, but they are also understanding people and they will help you if you are in pain, for sure. I still have some day to day pain, that peaks in between doses of my medicines, but considering that my spinal column is in pretty awful shape... they have got me to the point where, I can at least sort of get out and do some things. I was basically stuck in the house all the time before I got in to see them, and I don't regret my choice in provider at all.

There are several other sleep centers that offer zero consultation and charge the same price or cheaper for Botox shots and you don't have to deal with their attitude either. They try to take advantage of your desperation and try to get you to pay that money, but the Botox shots are already going to be expensive. They are also charging more for Botox shots than most other places. Do not go to this place. I've also researched this place in the actual Doctor has had a few complaints on him. Do not go here. They do not know what they are doing, and they are charging too much and their receptionist has a bad attitude!

At the time of the appointments, my wife was told that she would need to pay about $5000 up front and they would submit the claims to insurance. That is not unexpected and we were happy to do that. They are out-of-network for our insurance but our insurance likely still pays for a big chunk of the treatment. We proceeded because they told us they would take care of getting the claims in and, quoting from the treatment consent, "claims to your insurance will be itemized and billed at the insurance fee rate." We were told they would be submitting the claim within a couple days of the appointments. By early October, nearly a month later, we'd heard nothing from them or our insurance company about the claim. My wife called and was told, in effect, "oops the first claim didn't go through and we'll resubmit again right now." A month after that, in early November, we still had heard nothing so I contacted them again via the contact form on their website, because I wanted further communication in writing. No response. Yesterday a claim showed up on our insurance company website saying that they had not received required information from the provider. So I called our insurance company to get help understanding what that meant. It turns out that our insurance company had sent them at least two, and likely three, requests -- one each in September, October, and November -- for additional information in order to process the claim. They never responded to my insurance company and an agent from my insurance company had to call them (with me on hold) to find out what was going on. This really isn't acceptable. I've disputed the charge with my credit card company because TMJ Therapy & Sleep Center of Colorado did not complete what it committed to doing. Once they complete their end of the process and submit the information requested by the insurance company, and our insurance company reviews the claim and determines what the coverage is, I will happily lift the dispute and settle the account based on the amount the insurance company pays and what the insurance company rates are for this type of work. The lack of communication, follow-through, and service is disappointing. Being able to complete the claims process is table stakes for being in a business like this. I'd encourage others to proceed carefully and set aside time to stay on top of them.
