Short and sweet! Great ambiance. Loved our experience there. Wonderful customer service. Loved our hot pillow and champagne. Definitely need an appointment. read more

Wow what a pleasant surprise! Around the corner from home, open on Sunday , and the nicest and friendliest salon folks I ever met, relaxing atmosphere , super service. I know I will be back! read more

Here on Coronado for a Neonatology conference and felt like getting a mani/pedi before the weekend started. Looked up nail salons on yelp and this is the first one that popped up. I am so happy we came here. We did a mother/daughter mani/pedi. Has a nice calming ambiance, with 1950's jazz music (LOVE). We were offered a mimosa and a heated neck pillow and that was wonderful. Nail technicians did an excellent job! Very friendly, welcoming and conversational. I'll be back in Coronado in June and will definitely be coming back! Very cute little boutique! read more

I've been looking for a good nail place down here and I found it. Friendly when you call to make the appointment, took me right on time, offered mimosas, coffee, water and even put a warm neck compress on! Michelle did a beautiful manicure and was super sweet. Definitely recommend them. read more

Absolutely fell in love with this place. Being 8 months pregnant I was looking for a non toxic environment. There aren't many to choose from here in SD so I was so happy when I made my appt. I walked into elegance and bliss. My nail lady was so awesome working hard on my very needed pedicure! The owner was there and she was so lovely! Thanks I will be back again! read more

I love this place! It is so cute, fun, and CLEAN!!! I love how there are no fumes and the salon has big windows. It has adorable antique sofas and crystal chandeliers. The service is always top notch, but the prices are totally reasonable. I also really like how they use copper bowls instead of massage chairs with water jets. I know the water jets in the massage chairs are basically impossible to clean. But bowls are really easy to clean so I made the switch (the massage isn't worth the risk). Ashly and Andrea are amazing (all of the ladies are great actually). And I look forward to the neck pillows and mimosas every time. Definitely my regular place. read more

The owner is very nice . But they did my nails very ugly and unprofessional. All the polish are old and dry and was really hard to put on the nail . Took really long time and the result was bad read more

Had my first experience here today and will never go any where else! The staff is polite, warm and approachable! Mae (spelling) didn't rush through my mani-pedi which was nice as she subsequently didn't cut my skin where she shouldn't have which is a first me! It's small which could be a problem for wait time but if you time it right this spot is super relaxing - how it should be when you're getting pampered! read more

It was my first visit to the salon. The person who answered the phone was warm and friendly. The nail technician was sweet and did a great job with my pedicure. The comfortable non-conventional seating was inviting and the mimosa was yummy! Can't wait to have another opportunity to return to get more services done. read more

Jenny, Megan, Mary and Lynn are so warm and welcoming! Best pedicure and manicure on Coronado island! Luxurious neck pillow, glass of champagne, sugar scrub all while your feet soak away in a copper bowl! Spoiled with pampering read more

First off Jenny, my nail guru was awesome. Very sweet, and gave me a nice basic pedi. I was a little off put by the set-up. I guess I am too used to the rows of massage chairs with stations. Here you receive your pedi on a couch. It's not super comfy the way it's set up. The decor is very cute, it definitely has an old school vibe with flair. All in all, it's not the relaxing pedicure destination that I would go back to. The service is great, the area is incredible but it's not what I expected. read more

I have been going to Be Polished for almost 2 years and have enjoyed being pampered at every apointment. Their T.A.R.T. pedicure is the best! The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and I am able to either be quiet and read, or talk. They offer a wide variety of services and are always delivered professionally, at very reasonable prices. read more

I love this place! I was a little intimidated going for the first time. I am use to lines of women sitting in large chairs. Be Polished is intimate and elegant. I was greeted by Lynne who made me feel welcome immediately. I had a complementary mimosa and a relaxing warm neck pillow; followed by a wonderful pedicure with Michelle with the best leg/foot massage ever!! Love the lavender lotion! Michelle knew how I wanted my nails shaped with very little explanation and helped me pick the perfect color. I had such a wonderful experience I returned for a manicure that week. I rarely get a mani because I work in the garden and paint without gloves. This time I had May; who shaped, cleaned up my cuticles, and buffed my nails. They look so professional. Highly recommend Be Polished and will return soon read more

In town for a work trip and had an afternoon to relax...Stopped by as a walk-in and was able to get an appt within an hour plus a good lunch recommendation while waiting. Was pampered by all the women at Be Polished! It's a beautiful little shop and all of the employees were incredibly charming! Loved the tarte pedicure, warm neck wrap, salt scrub and warm towel for my toes and then massage during the mani. Now enjoying the sunshine this week and admiring my pretty manicure and pedicure! Thank you! read more

This is such a unique boutique experience, the staff is very attentive and takes their time to make sure you're more than satisfied with the fInished product. The owners are so very sweet and genuinely care about your business. I've never had any type of infection or gotten cut while getting my nails done here where as other nail salons have this issue. Everything is very sanitary and clean. The polish selection is always growing and the variety including gels and dips. The prices are very reasonable compared to somewhere that you are looked at as just another dollar, I always leave a good tip for my nail technician because every single one has always been the light of my day! Even with walk in appointments they have a lot of flexibility. Can't wait to get my nails done again and again. read more

Love this place. Great & friendly service. Nice ambience! Pedicure was very nice with the copper bowl which is the best way to go.

Lovely space, very friendly people, excellent polish selection, an all around relaxing and fun visit.

I got right in this am and so happy with my new mani it was done by Michelle and the Business is adorable I was offered a warm neck pillow and a nice holiday mimosa my hands turned out great and I would suggest this business to you while you are on the island great service read more

Went here two weeks ago and my color changing gel nails still look fabulous!! Great atmosphere. Very friendly receptionist named Jessica, she helped me and the girls I came with pick out our colors and she even grabbed a bowl of water to show me what color each of the polishes would change to so that I could pick out one I truly liked! This is not your average nail shop, they do not do acrylics and that makes it not so harsh on your nose while you enjoy getting your nails done. Once we started getting our nails done they offered us complimentary mimosas, tea and apple cider for my little sister. They also put a warm neck pillow on while getting your nails done. This nail shop just goes above and beyond anything you've ever experienced at any other nail shop! I recommended them any time I'm asked of a great nail shop to go to!! Not to mention all the nail technicians were so nice and friendly, we even met the owner Mary while there and she made sure we were completely satisfied with our service!! read more

Upon entering this salon, the charming retro decor and music sets the tone (pun intended) for what's to come--- a soothing experience. Ashley was my manicurist at my first visit here yesterday. Aside from being warm and good humored, she was thoughtful and conscientious about my nail predicament and offered smart suggestions, accordingly. She even went so far as to say that if her idea did not work, that she would redo the service in an alternate fashion---and on her dime. Now THAT, is great customer service! Also, Jessica, the young receptionist, was so adorable and sweet, and offered me a warm neck pillow as well as a beverage of my choice. Upon leaving, she told me that it was great having me there and that I livened the place up. What a nice compliment! Suffice to say, I'll be back!;) read more

Bright and cheery atmosphere. Jenny did a great job on my manicure + pedicure. Relaxing and beautiful:) Highly recommend BE Polished!

This place is really cute and the staff is really sweet. However, I was there for about 2 hours for a shellac manicure and while a lot of time was spent, the polish is chipping off after only four days. I have had shellac last for over three weeks before so I am pretty disappointed. read more

Absolutely amazing! My nail tech was so sweet and we chatted through my whole appointment! She made me feel very at home and welcomed! I was offered something to drink and whenever my mimosa would get low or hot pillow on my neck was not hot anymore someone would come up and offer me to more to drink or to reheat my pillow! That is absolutely a great service! To top it off my mani pedi was amazing and my nails look fantastic! Loved this spot and will definitely be coming back read more

Liz did an awesome job. A little pricy but so much nicer than the conveyor belt salons. Go see Liz she is wonderful.

I was in town for business and needed a mani/pedi. Anna was my manicurist and she was AWESOME!!!! She was very courteous and gentle. She did an excellent job of making sure I was comfortable. I loved the layout of the salon and made it a much more relaxing experience than the traditional nail salon. I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone looking for a nail salon and will definitely come back anytime I'm in town. read more

I called and wanted a manicure in 10 minutes and they got me right in! The woman who did my nails is amazing! The atmosphere is amazing and they were so nice and friendly! This place is a must! read more

Came here with a couple of girlfriends to relax. Cute little shop. Doesn't feel like your typical nail salon. Cute decor and jewelry for sale. Only down side was it is small so you should definitely call ahead. Staff was friendly and the mimosas were yummy. It's been a week and my nails still look great! Definitely coming back! read more

I was staying at Hotel Del and having no luck booking a sporadic Pedicure for my daughter and I. Surprisingly, I could not find a salon open on a Sunday outside of the Hotel. Luckily, I was directed to this lovely place. The pedicure was a complete treat. The owners and nail tech were the nicest people and treated my daughter and I like royalty. The vibe is perfect - relaxing music, amazing decor and a perfect pedicure. The price was great and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her Diva Pedicure with bubbly Apple Cider! I wish there was a place like this in my hometown. read more

I absolutely adore Be Polished! I have been in twice now for the Minx toes, and most recently the new Glitter Gellish pedicure. It is the most wonderful experience ever! The decor is just too cute for words, and they make sure every client has a warm neck pillow and a cup of tea or bubbly. I want to move in! I can't say enough how great this place is, and I will drive from Del Mar to Coronado every two weeks for the experience! read more

Cute atmosphere and idea but epic fail. Its a sub-par pedicure for double the price. I had to ask the girl to make sure she painted my entire nail because she left 1/2 of it bare... weird. read more

Here to get professional help in stopping the habit of nail biting. These ladies are professionals! It's a beautiful salon and I was handed a mimosa as soon as I sat down! This place rocks! I've made a recurring appointment every two weeks. Thank you all for your help in my endeavor. read more

First time in San Diego ever! After a difficult day of coming across two horrible nails salon. I came across BE Polished on YELP. I was assisted by Mary who had great customer service and communication! Savannah did my nails and I absolutely love them! They do not do acrylic nails, and they worked with me because I had acrylic on my nails. Savannah did an amazing job! I'll definitely be a regular here! This place is so cozy and chic! Love the vibe and and great staff. read more

the salon moved... other end of island. had mani-pedi and this time 1 gal from start to finish...and it showed. great, clean, neat and polished. happy with color selections, but this time i brought my own chem-free product. still fun, funky vibe and smaller but still fun selection of clothes and jewelry. still need an appt if you are going to go in during fri/sat or high temp weekends/holidays. love the mimosas... read more

This is the best place for a mani/pedi in Coronado! The owner is so sweet, as are all the girls who work here. They even have hot tea and warm neck pillows! I have always had a positive experience here. If you are looking for a great manicure and a lovely experience, come here! read more

This place is unique, fabulous and non pretentious. Mimosas on the house, attention to detail and fun.

Been here twice, both times within the same week my gel nails peeled off. NEVER coming here again.

My mom, sister and I have been coming here for a couple of years now and absolutely love getting manicures and pedicures here. Everybody should go here its awesome! read more

I really like this place because it smells good. Many nail salons have a chemical smell and seem stuffy. The staff has always been nice and perfectly chatty (not too little, or too much). I bring my daughter and they go above and beyond to cater to her crazy kid requests. They offer beverages, even bubbly while you relax on the couch. Since it's not the typical row of spa pedicure chairs, it's a charming space. We'll be back. read more

Savannah is the best, and I'm so glad she is back at Be Polished. She takes her time and pays attention to detail. The new location is clean and roomy. read more

I love this salon. I just moved to San Diego. I made an appointment based on Yelp reviews and the recommendation of a few locals. I loved my experience. The salon was so incredibly comfortable, the warm neck wraps were continually replaced the entire time I was there. Ashly gave me a beautiful manicure. Everyone in the salon was so nice and friendly. I did not feel rushed, the shabby chic decor made it so warm and inviting, I enjoyed having the doors open with the fresh air. And the best part, no loud drills and nail dust coating everything. read more
