Instructors are good, but it's not inclusive, peaceful or welcoming when the owner is rude/toxic. Canceled membership. Unexpected change of instructor at the last minute, so I canceled class. Received penalty notification as expected and did not have any issues. I decided to notify them, as I believe communication is important and also respectful when you're a no show. Instead, I got a series of emails from the owner that wasn't pleasant, but more combative and defensive. She also made sure to indicate boldly in her communication that she is the "OWNER" when I didn't ask and was trying to close the toxic display of her communication towards me. Quite sad frankly to learn of an owner who practices against its mission statement. Be wary. read more

Finding a dedicated 60 minute-class hot yoga studio was a tough challenge. After driving past Be One for years- the prevailing expectation: succumbing to squeezing a rusty yoga practice in amongst cliques of giant egos and Cirque de Soleil-esque mirror-hogs and narcissistic show-offs.Be One has completely shattered those preconceived notions. This studio is a down-to-earth gem. A no judgement vibe permeates the atmosphere. Safety is emphasized, encouraging practitioners to slow down and focus on their own journey rather than comparing themselves to others. The instructors at Be One are friendly and highly experienced. Amanda, Joyce, Michelle, Adam, Jo and Flip, among many others offer sound guidance. Listening to your body and moving at your own pace is consistently encouraged. Amanda's background in medicine empowers students to stretch safely and effectively, Joyce, Jo and Michelle frequently enlighten students on how specific asanas benefit the spine and GI system: a brilliant enrichment of everyone's practice! Flip's succinct, targeted prompts are nothing short of phenomenal. Adam's classes serve as a masterclass in seamlessly integrating variations into 60 minute flows with perfect timing. After undergoing major surgery, regaining ankle and spine mobility was achieved solely through hot yoga at Be One. Every instructor from Steve to Tracy provided incredible support. With new- found vitality akin to someone in their mid-30's- despite entering the latter 50's, the best lesson learned: "Hot Yoga-Strong" is the new black! read more

I've been here a few times for their free foundations flow community class and once for their free 90 minute hot hatha class. I really enjoy the foundations flow classes, and I've found that it's a great start to my Saturday mornings. Everyone at the studio is really nice and helpful, and I definitely want to go more consistently this year to work on building my yoga skills. The hot hatha class was the hardest workout class I've ever done (I've taken maybe three workout classes in a hot room), and it was a struggle to stay in the room for the whole 90 minutes but worth it. The instructor told me that usually there are 15 people in the class but 25 people were there when I took it, so that added to the humidity in the room. Heating that made me feel better, and they were also really nice in giving me not one but two cool lavender towels. The towel is one of my favorite parts of the studio because it's so refreshing after a good workout. read more

A Thoughtful and Enthusiastic Endorsement of Be One Yoga! I'm currently in the first week of a three-week trial at Be One Yoga and have attended four days in a row. Each visit has been a beautiful, energizing experience. The instructors bring a diverse mix of experience, mindfulness, movement, and teaching styles, and the environment radiates warmth (pun intended!) and positivity. From parking and accessibility to pricing and class variety, everything so far has exceeded expectations. I don't often write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience after reading a recent one-star review that described the studio as not inclusive or peaceful and labeled the owner as rude and toxic. According to the review, the individual canceled a class due to a last-minute instructor change but was never charged for the missed class--and waited several weeks before posting the review. It appears that the owner responded promptly and respectfully. Having practiced yoga for over 25 years, occasional substitute instructors are a normal part of studio life. To be clear, I don't personally know the owner or have any prior connection to the Be One Yoga community. However, I believe in supporting locally owned, women-led businesses--especially those dedicated to promoting physical wellness and mindfulness. The recent one-star review initially gave me pause, but after experiencing the studio firsthand, I felt it was important to offer another perspective. This studio reflects the essence of what a yoga space should be--welcoming, grounded, and supportive. There's clearly a strong "tribe" here that lifts one another up. The owner, Tracy S., has been present during each of my visits, greeting students with warmth and authenticity. I didn't even realize she was the owner until I proactively asked to share feedback with someone an owner or manager. In my experience so far, Be One Yoga embodies the true spirit of yoga, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking community, connection, and personal growth in their practice. A great studio with lots of talented and helpful instructors with a variety of hot vinyasa and hatha classes taught in a creative environment. If you are beginning to an advance yogi I would highly recommend you try this studio. I love this yoga studio! I have been going for several years on and off. Be One offers a variety of classes that other studios do not have. All the instructors are really topnotch and kind. The warm flow motion class uses myofascial release balls which has been super helpful for back and shoulder pain. I try to go around lunch and do not feel the classes are overcrowded and the studio itself is really clean. In addition to the yoga classes they offer other events at studio like sound baths and workshops. I love the community that Be One has created. read more

Great music, great workout, nice atmosphere. It got a little hot for us but the workout really was awesome. The staff is all really nice. Remember to bring a yoga mat and some water! I have never had such an upbeat yoga class and it was a nice change. One recommendation I have for the studio is to use eucalyptus instead of lavender on the towels, but maybe that is just my preference:) read more

Aerial yoga classes are pretty hard to find in WA, so I was super thrilled to discover that Be One Yoga offers 90-minute aerial yoga workshops and classes! Kara is a fantastic teacher who is extremely patient with students of all levels, and makes it look so easy (it's not - but beginners can definitely work up to it!). The studios are super clean and relaxing - overall just a really great place for some aerial fun! Plenty of free parking out front as well which is a plus. Will definitely be exploring other yoga classes at Be One as well! read more

My favorite yoga studio closed years ago and I just hadn't had the heart to find a new one. Then somehow I stumbled on an Aerial Yoga workshop being done at Be One Yoga (yes, you read that right). I'd never done that before but I LOVE hammocks so I definitely wanted to try yoga in one. I LOVED it! Not just the class, but the instructors, the people who go there, the wide variety of workshops they offer, the regular classes... they even hold a free community meditation class! I have been a member of this studio for many years. The studio is clean and well maintained. The schedule is varied with a good mixture of Hatha and vinyasa style yoga. The teachers are great. unfortunately there is a tremendous amount of gossip and rumor mongering amongst a small group of members who regularly practice here. I was most recently the target of this baseless gossip which then escalated into a criminal accusation of theft. I immediately brought this to the owner and allowed her the opportunity to address the situation. After several weeks of investigating this accusation I was told that none of the individuals involved would confirm what was said inside the studio. No actions taken, zero accountability from the owner. So it was an easy decision to cancel my membership after years of supporting this business. This studio is a toxic emotional environment at best. So if you are searching for a studio where you can quiet your mind and practice in peace, this may not be the studio for you. read more

I really love this yoga studio! I am a recent transplant to Washington state and was looking for a studio that offers a good variety of classes and was not disappointed. After 3 discounted classes for the trial period, I ended up booking the annual membership and generally go 4 days a week. The teachers are very friendly, have great taste in music, and class is always interesting. The lavender towel at the end is so refreshing and something I look forward to at the end of class. Classes are very accommodating for all levels of yoga, so if you have never tried yoga, this is a great place to start! I have also taken a few sound bath workshops, which have been amazing. I called early this morning to make an appt for a massage with Nan for Friday on my Birthday. The receptionist called me this afternoon to cancel my appt because of "scheduling conflicts" and says theres nothing else available this week except with another person. I said no I want to schedule with Nan as she was highly recommended. She continues to push other times and dates with other people. I said no I want to stick with Nan. So then she says you can go online to reschedule for next week then. I then asked her what the conflict is and she said that Nan will be focusing more on yoga classes. So that really means shes not doing any more massage? So then I asked her why would you tell me to waste my time going online to reschedule as it turns out shes not doing massage at all. I tell her I feel she is lying to me to get my business and tell her Im done with this conversation. Why do they waste my time and lie to my face? Greed. read more

*Prenatal Review* This is the best prenatal class in the area- mostly due to the knowledge and pregnancy/birth expertise of instructor, Anna. I have taken her classes for three of my pregnancies and continue to learn about the amazing things women's bodies do to create new life, and things we can do to support our changing bodies. Classes are adaptable for all levels of ability. When not pregnant I prefer weightlifting or HIIT workouts, but during pregnancy I find that the small movements, stretching, breath-work, and posture focus of this class are very beneficial during pregnancy, labor, and post-partum. The space is clean and bright and offers a variety of props to support this unique class. Buy classes online and pre-register as classes fill up fast and are by reservation only. Highly recommend! Update: I gave birth early and had not used all my classes from my prenatal package. Anna automatically transferred them to be used at any of the regular BE One yoga classes, and extended the expiration date! read more

I joined classpass and recently went to another studio for a Slow Flow class, so I was excited to experience this one since it's so close to home. After filling out a release form, Ruth gave me a tour. The ladies lounge is beautiful and modern, as well as the massage room and front desk area where they sell beverages and retail merchandise. On the app it said they offer lockers....they do not. There are cubby holes instead and I reluctantly left my things there...I'm always apprehensive and if I return, I'll leave everything in my car. The description states it's a "warm" class, heated to 75-80 degrees and good for beginners....nope, it's way hotter. I was sweating even before we began. The last class I went to said the same and it was much more comfortable. It was nice having the mirrors to watch for proper alignment! But the studio itself wasn't the most relaxing like others I've been to. I could tell that Ruth was great at what she does, but this definitely isn't for beginners. Yes, she offers modification for poses, but I would've appreciated a little guidance while she was surveying and walking around the room. Sometimes the poses were rushed. The icey, lavender towel was an excellent touch at the end! I'll definitely come back for that aspect. Even though I got a lot sweatier than I intended, I'll keep this class in mind next time I have soreness...and be better prepared for the heat. read more

I've been here twice now on the new student special and am enjoying it so far. Okay, well I take that back. I haven't been to yoga in over a year and hot yoga longer than that. My first time back I took a hot Vinyasa class from Elena and ALMOST DIED. But I had already expected that would happen. Elena was great and I enjoyed her class (minus the almost dying). For a good chunk of the class all I could think was God this is hot, why did I start hot yoga again, this was a bad idea, yadda yadda yadda. Then I got into a zone and was enjoying it, until I felt like I was going to pass out. Those are the typical stages of returning to your first hot yoga class in years. If you don't want to die, try a Hatha class. They're more mellow, Bikram-ish, cooler? ANYWAY, I DIGRESS! The facility is great. Nice and clean. The bathrooms have showers (two) that are stocked with products so you don't have to worry about toting your soaps and such to class. Lots of cubbies to store your things during class. Hair dryers and such to primp if you're practicing before work. The studio is decent sized, not the biggest I've seen, but not the smallest. The cooler part of the studio is near the far door (opposite end of entrance) and farthest from the ceiling heaters. I try to get as close to that area as possible, LOL. The instructors/employees all seem really nice and welcoming. The other students all seem really nice as well, haven't seen any yoga snobs like, oh you're not wearing Lululemon? You can't sit with us... Not like other studios I've been to in Kirkland (you know where I'm talking about ;) Although I did get asked to stop talking before a class by some guy who pointed out that this was a tranquil environment and my whispering was just too much to handle I guess, despite other people having full-on non-whispering conversations around us, which was okay to him? Ughz. I'm happy with Be One and am eager to continue practicing here for as long as my attention span will allow. read more

Update: I have been going to the studio weekly for a few months now. Definitely try out the once a month yoga tune up massage class, it introduces you a new way of relaxing on your own, and also relieve pain on certain part. Such as my lower back. Also, the teacher Thang teaches really good vinyasa class too. So far, Elena is a good teacher on vinyasa flows, zack is pretty nice too just his class is a bit too intensive. Lastly, they have discounts for prime card members. After that, rate is fairly low compared to other studios. read more

I've been coming here infrequently for the past 14 months. I love that the facility is new, they have showers and large locker room, and flooring in the studio. I've been to other studios with carpet which is gross. Their hot yoga is not as hot as other studios, but still hot, which is fine with me. The instructors are nice and I'm comfortable practicing yoga here. The environment is supportive and nurturing to your practice. I first started doing hot yoga at the Ashram in Kirkland in 2010, I think I only went for a couple months. The yoga there was good, but I referred to the instructors as yoga Nazis. Be one is a much better option for me. In the Kirkland area, I have also gone to Hot Yoga Inc, but the Be One facilities are much larger and cleaner. I just wish they had more vinyasa classes. It's also right next to Five Guys which I find very amusing and comical to have the two next to each other. read more

There are locker rooms with cubbies, toilets, and showers. And, wait for it, at the end of class you get a cold, wet lavender washcloth! Mind=blown! My home away from home! Even though I live close to downtown Kirkland, their location is still ideal. The studio is lovely, clean, light and bright. I especially appreciate them because they offer me a college student discount, and their monthly fees are competitive. All the teachers are understanding, motivating and encouraging. This is one of the few studios that I've been to that has music playing during class, but I have found it to be soothing. They have limited class times on Friday and the weekends, but I find myself attending the evening classes on Mon-Thurs after a stressful work day. read more

I love this studio. I have tried out MANY MANY hot yoga studios throughout the Seattle area. This is by far my favorite. The studio is very clean, comfortable and well designed. One side of the room is considerably hotter than the other which allows you to decide how hot you want to be. :) They have great locker rooms; lots of room and showers. All the teachers have different styles which I love it allows each class to be unique. However, regardless of the teacher I have felt comfortable, well informed and challenged. I feel like the teachers are very in tune to the students helping with poses without disturbing the process. I highly recommend this studio. read more

Can only comment on the yoga and the overall facility (have not had a massage as of yet). This appropriately located facility is large with two showers in the woman's changing room providing plenty of room to change your clothes. The main yoga room is heated with two huge ceiling heaters, so you can either be hot underneath one or not so hot (closer to the outside exit door). All the staff is super friendly, helpful and never overbearing. I have attended every kind of yoga class they offer (except for kid yoga!) and the teachers have a similar calming demeanor accepting of all experience levels. So glad this studio has opened in Kirkland and to experience it in its first few months of opening. As much as I would like to keep this studio a secret, it is destined to become a very popular Kirkland hot yoga studio! read more

Review for Massage Only: I am a spa snob! I live and die by the hydrotherapy, cucumber water, and plush robes. Sadly I was in a pinch (harrr puns) after my shoulder was giving me pain from overuse, and I needed a massage ASAP! Chuck got me in the same day, and I was able to pay and book online! This made it simple and easy to get in and out! The rates are competitive with other massage parlors (if not a bit cheaper) in the area, and the rooms/sheets are clean, as well as the therapists are licensed and knowledgable. (Which is actually something you have to worry about at reflexology spas) I got the deep tissue, and I could literally feel my shoulder loosening up during the massage, as well as other spots that I was tight but did not even notice before the massage. I cannot wait to go back! It was a safe, friendly, and professional atmosphere. read more

I love local businesses and it's even better when you find one that's awesome! I had to reschedule my appointment twice because of things out of my control... Kami was very accommodating. I finally showed up for my appointment, the facility is nice, clean and new. I filled out a short form (much shorter than your standard forms) and her hubby (I forget his name) did the massage. I loved the massage!!! I will be headed back there soon. It's a small wife-hubby business, the restrooms were clean and well stocked. A quick note for all - this is not a spa, so don't walk in expecting a robe, hot tea, and dead silence. This is a yoga studio. But the massage room is in the back corner so it isn't too loud. Parking's easy to find in this QFC complex. This will be my new go-to place! read more

I am new to hot yoga, have chronic back pain and need to lose 25 lbs. I kept putting it off nervous I'd hate the heat and want to die. That was not the case at all at Be One. First of all their classes are 60 minutes, not 75-90. That makes the class realistic to how long a beginner would want to be in a hot room and let alone having a more reasonable time commitment. I started off with a "warm" slow flow class my first time, which got me acclimated to the environment and feeling comfortable around the studio/routine. I went the next day to a hot hatha class which was much hotter, but oddly, feels really good....and when I say this you should know it's from someone who DESPISES the heat. Hatha has a nice flow, lots of stretching and then a stand up series followed by a floor series. I've gone 4 times now and the difference between my range of motion and balance is impressive. I'm really proud I am doing this...I've had excuses for over a year now. I just go at my own pace and make it my time. Hints for the newbies: bring water with ice cubes, a mat and a thin long towel. If you are worried about other people being half naked..many wear yoga pants, not a loose/flared leg and breathable tank over a sports bra. Don't wear baggy clothes! If you are in the Kirkland/Juanita area...this is a great community studio, everyone is very nice. read more
