I tried their chicken roll bento box and their popcorn chicken bento box. The chicken roll was very tasty while their popcorn chicken was average. I've definitely tasted better popcorn chicken. Their menu is huge so it might take a while to try everything, but so far so good! Also definitely give their Hokkaido milk tea a try! The place is pretty small too. Service is great but some of the staff don't speak english too well, so it might cause some misunderstanding with your orders, but at least they're nice and willing to help! came here monday and it was not bad. It was actually one of the best beef noodle soup I've had but with that said...paying $11 is totally not worth it. The usual beef noodle is $7-8 dollars...so I don't know how many people really gonna come for it. I tried my friend's Taiwanese sausage and that was pretty good too. Came here on a weekday with my coworkers for lunch. At first I was not interested on this place. I figured I would try this place, since it is newly opened. Walked in, and noticed that the food they offer are all of authentic Taiwanese dishes. I decided to order my favorite, Beef Noodle Soup. When it arrived, I noticed the bowl was huge and the thick noodles were very chewy and tasty. The soup base was flavorful and the meat was tender. I am surprised that I didn't try this place sooner. I am considering giving it 5 stars, however, this place lost a star due to the fact that the girls working here should serve their clients more. I gave 4 stars mainly for its staffs, the girls who's working on Friday night sure is very friendly, attentive, helpful, and not being inpatient or upset when I ask for few requests like extra napkins and special orders. So awkward. But service was quick when their eyes were on us! Food: ordered #1 and #2 soups. House Beef stew was #1 and it was pretty savory. #2 soup was so unmemorable that we don't even remember the name. My friend loves Taiwanese food and we were excited a place had opened up in Chino after Feng Wei closed. I got the minced pork over rice and she got the beef noodle soup. Both were really yummy. I wished my rice had more toppings on it, since after the first few bites, it was just eating fat and soy sauce drenched rice. The beef noodle soup was super tender and very flavorful. I would order that again next time. My hibiscus green tea was just okay, I've had better. My friend's brown sugar milk tea tasted a lot better and I really liked it. Service was on and off - I walked up to the cashier to order and was told that our order would be taken at the table, but the waitress was inattentive. Not a big deal, she was really nice and offered to remake the milk tea if it was too sweet (which it wasn't). All in all, I'd come back but I would probably order something different. read more

I came here yesterday because I wanted thick noodles. My friend suggested beef noodle soup. I've never had beef noodle soup with super thick noodles before. And it was good! I love the chewy noodles. It was their soft opening day, we tried their house special beef noodle and it was pretty good. I love their sweet milk with boba, the sweetness is just right, not too sweet but still flavorful. We ordered the Tempura side dish, Japanese pork katsu bento and the beef noodle soup. The service was pretty slow and when the food got to our table, it wasn't even hot. The tempura was whatever and the pork katsu wasn't too bad, but definitely not the best around. It came with 5 different side dishes, which were eggplant, half an egg, tofu, string beans, and pickles with eggs. They were decent, except for their tofu, which was extremely salty. The beef noodle soup was ridiculously salty, will never order that again. At the end, they gave us small cups of pudding which were pretty good because it reminded me of the ones from taiwan. We found this place a few days ago thats around the area. It's a pretty small Taiwanese style restaurant with some pretty authentic dishes. Me and my bf ordered their beef noodle soup, crystal dumplings, and marinated pork chop bento. Overall the food was pretty good, I really liked their beef noodle soup because the soup base was semi sweet, and had a decent beef flavor. However the soup was a little too spicy for me (and my friends too) even at mild spice, and was also a little overpriced ($10.95) compared to other places but I thought the taste was well worth it. Their crystal dumpling was really good too, I have never seen it in other Chinese restaurants so if you don't know what it is, give it a try! Its kind of like a smaller version of Taiwanese meatball (肉圓). Then lastly, the marinated pork chop was not bad either. It was tender and well marinated, portion was average. Thanks for the girl who made me a oolong milk tea THREE times...upon my request. Thanks for your utmost patience. I wasn't looking for trouble but for $4.00, it literally tastes as bland as water, OK, maybe vaguely a trace of tea and remotely reminiscent of 0% milk, but definitely lacks sweetness. Even at the 3rd try, it tastes highly diluted. The waitress told me maybe it's because the brewed tea was too bitter that the sugar didn't manifest. But trust me, I'm a foodie and way past my youth, in those decades, I've had so many cups of milk tea, this IS bland. I applaud your effort for serving freshly brewed tea (maybe that's why it costs more), but what good does it do if it tastes bland like slightly flavored H2O? read more

The food at BD Café is okay, but as a lot of other Yelpers mentioned, it's a little overpriced. I had the beef noodle soup and hoped it would be the best beef noodle soup of my life because it cost $11, but I didn't really like it. I felt like it was a little too sweet and the flavor reminded me a bit of BBQ sauce? I much prefer the beef noodle soup at A&J or Bull Demon. I also tried the popcorn chicken appetizer which had maybe 10-12 decent sized chunks for about $4.50. It was okay, but as a popcorn chicken aficionado, I've had better elsewhere. I thought the portion size was fine for everything we ordered was fine and the teeny tiny egg pudding dessert at the end was cute. I think BD Café would do better if they lowered their prices a little. Their menu is also mostly snack-type foods so maybe they should try to attract a younger, Guppy's type crowd with cool drinks and later hours. read more
