Solid late night spot... Needed a bit post pickleball and landed here. I got the Galbi entree plate, and as a table we split the seafood pancake. All the Banchan were good. Need to personally figure out how to eat the fried fish while avoiding the bones. Seafood pancake was delicious and crispy, and the galbi was tender and flavorful. It came with the spicy beef soup, which was perfectly spicy. Servers were super accommodating and attentive. It was also fairly busy for being so late, so great vibes. We will be back

1st time here but whenever I hear BCD, I think of CBD(cannabis) for whatever reason. Anyways, came here during their lunch hour & got the Clay Pot Bibimbap. This lunch time combo comes w/tofu soup of your choice along with your Ban Chaan(side dishes). Every Korean place offers different side dishes so it's always fun to explore the options you get. Today's Ban Chaan surprise was the fish. The clay pot bibimbap had a lot of vegetables(spinach, carrots, fenbrook, mushrooms & bean sprouts) but not a lot of bulgogi meat. Nonetheless this clay pot was deliciously crispy & filling for me & my daughter to share.

I really wanted japchae and this place has it as its own order. It was delicious and the kimchi here was good too. The place was clean and service was friendly. I'll definitely come back to try something else!

I had a great dining experience at BCD Tofu in Buena Park, and Hyon Yi's service was truly outstanding. She greeted us with a warm smile and kindly explained the menu, which made us feel very comfortable throughout the meal. Even during a busy time, she paid close attention to customers and handled everything professionally. The food was delicious, but her thoughtful and friendly service is what really made us want to come back again. Thank you!

Pros: Good location with decent parking Bibimbap hot stone crispy rice was delicious and super hot temp wise Lots of flavor in all their dishes You can ask for varying levels of spice Soon tofu was so tasty - I still dream of this dish! Cons: Had to ask for Banchan several times They were out of bean sprouts Didn't have many servers so food took a while to arrive Pro tip: Come for the food, not the service cause they are busy!

I love BCD and I'm happy that my husband got to finally try it. I think he actually prefers Kaju in Irvine just a tiny bit more, but food here is still really delicious. If you've never had soondubu before, this is a really good and reliable way to try it for the first time (which my friend did today, and he quite enjoyed it).

Fast and delicious! We stopped by while in the area as we felt like having Soon Tofu soup. We were acknowledged as soon as we entered the restaurant by the manager. We went on a Friday evening so it was quite busy but we didn't have to wait too long for a table. The restaurant overall had sufficient seating. The placemats serve as the menu. Someone came over right away to take our orders. Another person came by with water. Every server at the restaurant had a role, so service was very efficient. We ordered the combo with the bulgogi and an order of tofu Japchae. Everything came out very fast and the portions were generous. Everything tasted great. You also get the usual side dishes like kimchi. There is a server that goes around with a cart and replenishes the side dishes. Overall we were happy with the food and the how efficient service was.

I came here with family. We sat where we wanted. The restaurant is made up of all tables indoors. No outdoor patio seating. They automatically serve hot water. The menu doubles as the placemat. I ordered the seafood Soon tofu, priced at $17.99. The assortment of side dishes were delivered first. There was the usual kimchee, fish cakes, potato salad, and pickled cucumber. I was surprised by the white fish with the head and eyeballs intact. It's a small crispy fried fish. I ate everything, excluding the head. Next was the white rice. It's delivered in a clay pot. Staff scoops and serves it in a round metal rice bowl, pouring hot water into the pot for the remaining rice. Finally, the tofu was delivered, bubbling and still boiling in a clay pot. I cracked my raw egg into the soup where it was allowed to cook. I ordered medium spicy. I didn't dare order the "dangerous" spicy. There were two shrimp, and three shell fish in my seafood tofu. Although it was hot in terms of temperature for a while, It was delicious. The staff were friendly. A little overwhelmed by the large number of customers who walked in all at once. There's plenty of free, shared strip mall parking.

BCD has been around forever, and has several locations everywhere. This is my first time here in Buena Park. The Good: Their food is always on point. I always get their kimchi/ pork tofu stew, spicy. It is SO good. They give you Korean fried fish, and many side dishes. We also got Korean bbq, which was very good. Just for their food, I will always return. One point off because the service here was very slow this day. Not sure if it was just that day, but I sure hope so. We waited quite awhile for our food to come out. One tip is you can come here on Yelp, and check live wait/ put your name on the guest list before arriving. Other than that, yes the food is still worth the wait :)

BCD Tofu House is a chain that I am a bit familiar with due to there being a location in Dallas / Carrolton. I know from visiting the location in Dallas that it is some decent Korean food, and this LA area location doesn't deviate far from that! When we showed up with our group of 9, there was a little bit of disorganization but that may have been due to a bit of a language barrier. Not long after we made the request for the table for 9, the servers and bussers began arranging a long table for us and we were seated shortly afterwards. The menu features pretty standard Korean dishes that you would expect at a place that serves soondubu and some cooked bbq items. One item(s) that stood out to me here are definitely the banchan / side dishes. The servers constantly walk around with trays full of extra banchan for whenever you run out. Our favorite was definitely the kimchi and fried fish. The kimchi was fresh when we visited, so not much of the desired funk, so it was extra crisp and very refreshing. I think we ate maybe 20+ mini plates of the kimchi. The fried croaker fish was served fresh and hot. You could tell the fish was fresh due to the flakiness of the meat as well. All of the banchan were good and were perfect for avoiding palate fatigue. Another item that I tried was the spicy marinated raw crabs. I am usually a fan of this dish but seldom order it due to the cost. During my visit, I decided to splurge and was met with a mountain of marinated blue crabs that were spicy (the menu warns you that it is very, very spicy--but I found it wasn't too bad) yet sweet due to the freshness and quality of the crabs. The crabs were perfect with rice and the meal was made complete with a little bit of solid / standard soondubu soup intermixed with bites of kimchi and other banchans. I would definitely recommend a visit here and I wouldn'y shy away from splurging on the raw marinated crabs or even the galbi!

The service was great! It was our first time at this location but the food was delish!! The place is clean. We will be back for sure!

Love this spot. Not all BCD tofu places are created equal in my opinion. I've come back to this place twice and it tasted delicious both times. I always get the seafood tofu soup combo with the spicy crab dish. The portion is gigantic dude. Like, I can barely finish my crabs when I come here. It is well marinated and just perfection. I usually love pork meat or kimchi in my tofu soup, but always get the seafood flavor because I like the broth. It isially has more depth in the broth compared to other tofu soups. Service is on point. I always come a bit early for dinner but there's a line out the door when it's evening time so get there by 5!!

Beef BBQ Combo with assorted soft tofu soup (2 orders)
    Morvarid A.

Tasty as always. We went with the beef combo and assorted soft tofu soup at medium spice--honestly, not spicy at all, just comforting and well-balanced. Everything came out hot and rich, exactly what you want when you're craving soft tofu done right. Fast service, friendly staff, and overall very satisfying--hits the spot every time.

Everything was thoughtfully presented and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was definitely the assorted premium wagyu cuts, which are grilled to perfection over charcoal. The meat was incredibly tender, rich, and packed with flavor. Pairing it with naengmyun and soybean paste soup made the whole experience even better. Food: I ordered the beef gyugatsu. When you order (on the tablet) it will give you a choice if you want the full set or just the meat only. Of course I had to try the full set. It came with 2 sauces, salad, edamame, radish, rice, and a bowl of miso soup. It was delicious! Meat also came with a little grill for u to cook on and wasabi on the side. My partner ordered the curry pork cutlet. Pork cutlet was a tad bit dry, nothing crazy but the sauces that came with it made it better! It also came with miso soup, salad, radish, edamame, and a bowl of rice. Since my partner ordered the curry cutlet, ofc it came with a bowl of curry and katsu sauce on the side. Both meals were delicious! 8/10 rating for food! Ambiance: cute, clean, nice and small! You order on the tablet. They close around 830pm keep in mind! We came the last hour of closing and there was still a couple of tables eating inside still. We were greeted upon arrival and we didn't need them to tell us how to order as the only thing on the table was the ordering tablet (self-explanatory). We ended up ordering the premium gyu katsu set along with the curry pork cutlet set that comes with rice and sides along with some beer. The drinks and food came out fairly quick and were steaming hot. I like that the curry came on the side so the pork cutlet wouldn't get soggy and you could pour over as much as you want over the cutlets. The veggie sides were a nice touch and complemented the meal well. The gyu katsu didn't taste like Japan to us, but it was still good especially with the wasabi and sweet soy sauce that came with it. If I came back here, I would give the beef tongue a try along with the creamy udon because those also seemed like a favorite for customers. Service here was friendly and we were checked up on multiple times without having to flag someone down.
