They got us our helmets and bikes (2 adults and one teen size bike) quickly and pointed us to the park and odd we went! Super easy and they are very close to the bike path for the park. Prices are pretty reasonable and we chose the two hour option due to our limited time during the sunset period. The staff were busy but friendly and assisted us with our kayaks. They will brief you about the kayaks, safety and where to go. Now, I would select a longer time to truly appreciate Deep Cove's natural beauty when you aren't dodging other kayaks or boats. The traffic can be somewhat chaotic in the summer time and it is main area for a lot of boaters heading out of the cove. We kayak around three islands within our two hour option, but didn't relax as much as we want. Again, the salt water, slight wind, and being in the 80's made it a wonderful but brief time.

Great place to kayak, incredible views, definitely worth a visit…read more Equipment and gear were great and in great shape. Our guides were knowledgeable and got us in and out of our kayak without us getting our feet wet. I didn't give five stars for two reasons. First, the two guides seemed a bit lax, they mostly paddled with us instead of taking lead and sweep positions, despite the fact that two out of the six of us had never kayaked before. They did look back periodically to check on everyone, but it was still strange compared to other kayak tours I've been on. Second, they didn't take pictures of us, other tours I've been on do it as a matter of course and email or post pictures to everyone. Still, this was a very worthwhile experience, and everyone enjoyed the views, the seals we saw in the water, etc., and no one had trouble keeping up despite the wind and the range of both ages and kayaking experience.

This was our first time in Vancouver, and whats not a better way to experience it than by taking a boat tour! We honestly planned this boat tour super last minute, so we called a few places, but they were all closed. Fortunately, Sea Vancouver still had tours going out until 7pm which was the last one! The lobby is located in the Westin hotel and the ride is 90 minutes long, which takes you all around the harbor of Vancouver to the English Bay! There was so much to see at the waterfront and we even saw a few dolphins along the ride! We were hoping for orcas too but maybe next time haha. Overall the boat tour was absolutely amazing! Terry our captain, made the experience super educational a fun! Love that guy! Thanks Cap! And thank you Sea Vancouver!

Very bad business practice…read more We booked a 3pm tour. It was the last day that we are in Vancouver, we would be flying home that night. At 1:45pm, after we have planned our whole day around the excursion and checked out of the hotel in preparation of this tour, Sea Vancouver office called and said they are cancelling my tour because they "need a minimum of 4 people and only 3 people booked". I explained that we are leaving the city that day, and we planned our whole day around this, and if there is anything they can do. It is unreasonable to only notify me 75 minutes prior to departure time - we were already on the way to the departure point! The only thing they said was that they will refund me in full (I'd better hope so since you cancelled it with incredibly short notice!) I understand that it may not be economical to operate a tour based on fixed cost, but this was NOT written anywhere when I booked it on the official website, but they were happy to take my money when I booked. The confirmation email stated "We reserve the right to delay or cancel a departure for events beyond our control (e.g. adverse weather conditions, technical or mechanical issues, etc.)" -- well, operating a boat when there are "only" 3 paying customers is definitely in their control, they just choose to screw over their customers. This has put a really sour taste on my trip to Vancouver. I would encourage everybody to stay away.

We saw so many beautiful sights in and around Stanley Park, including an eagle's nest! They even provided ponchos just in case the Vancouver weather decided not to cooperate. One thing to know: the tour moves at a pretty good pace. It didn't bother us at all, but slower riders may find themselves bringing up the rear. Great way to see Stanley Park. We'd absolutely recommend this tour!

Below is my wife review…read more For me, I was hit by a fallen bike from a fellow group member, the company should remind people to hold their bikes safely during safety briefing. Our tour guide Nick is a nice person, but he just rode so fast and he left me so far behind. The tour pace was so fast that it forced people to run traffic lights and it's very unsafe for first timers in the city. We asked for partial refund and was denied by the manager Katie who obnoxiously by email all our negative experiences. This forced me to write this review here. This bike tour was the most miserable part of our first time visit to the otherwise very beautiful city. --- The bike rented for me was difficult to ride. Somehow the pedals kept jamming a few times when I started to ride. The gear was ok and I was pretty sure I switched gears correctly when biking, but sometimes I had to paddle real hard. I do bike around home so this certainly feels very awkward today. Tour was pretty fast paced so didn't really get to enjoy the views along the route. kind of stressed too with so many opposite and rushing bikers around as well as pedestrians.

He lent us dry bags for what we brought onto the boats and gave us a locked locker to use for our valuables. He also gave us some great tips on how to enjoy the rest of our visit to Bowen Island.

Our guides were amazing - pointing out wildlife as well as helping us find the route best for our family's ability. This was our first time on an electric bike and we all enjoyed the easy-to-use assist features that supplemented our manual option. CONS - Jim's chain fell off twice, with a nice guy helping to fix it the first time. However, the credit card entries took awhile to sort themselves out. PROS - Jim's issue aside, our bikes were top quality, easy to use, and fun to ride. - Bee's Knees staff were very helpful and responsive to our beginner questions and the above bike chain issue. - Stunning scenery and well marked bike paths. - Vancouver takes their bikes very seriously including the practice that traffic laws apply to all. BOTTOM LINE - I'd happily use Bee's Knees again for a bike rental.
