But before that previous plumber left, he had made noises about me having to buy a whole new sink, because he didn't think parts for mine were still available. So that gives you an idea of the type of situation I presented Mr. Underhill with. Fortunately for me, Dan, with his can-do attitude, got everything fixed. And he never said one word about trying to sell me on a new sink. The quality of Dan's work is excellent, and his pricing was more than fair. I run a floral business out of our detached garage. With daylight savings on the way, and a few, late nights ahead of me, I decided to finally change the flood light on the front of the garage which has been non-functional since we moved in. Anyway, in changing the fixture, I let the wires touch and short circuited the whole garage (I know I should have turned off the power first... I actually thought I had!) When I finished the job and went inside to our old knob and tube fuse box to try to turn everything back on... nothing worked. My husband and I fiddled around with it for a few hours, but the flowers in my cooler were starting to wilt and I needed help, fast. Enter Mark. I found him on yelp as a local handy man and called in a panic. He was out of town, but wanted to hear about what was going on anyway. He confirmed I just blew a fuse and after hearing about the age of our home, had a suspicion there was another fuse box outside the house that ran the garage. HE WAS RIGHT! There was a locked box on the side of the house that we had never investigated. I broke off the lock and discovered a fuse box! Flipped the fuse on, and voila. My day was saved. I cannot thank Mark enough for taking time out of his travels to walk me through this repair in what was, to me, a desperate situation. He demonstrated kindness, curiosity, and respect. He's also kind of up with technology so I was able to e-mail him pictures and questions. My furnace was not working so I called around to a couple different places. I was a little hesitant to go with Heating Experts because this company had one of the higher minimum trip fees. However, the good reviews made me choose Ron in the end. Ultimately, it was a good decision. Ron replaced the ceramic piece on the ignition instead of replacing the entire part. This saved quite a bit of money. Only minor thing was that he showed up a bit later than expected. I'm probably living on the edge of where he normally drives to.

Finally done, work seems good enough, and we move forward with our lives. Recently discovered he never finaled the permits so future work can't be done until that gets resolved. This requires refiling for a completion permit so he's still costing me time and money. Multiple efforts to contact him via phone or email have not gotten a response. I leave this review to encourage you to make sure he sees your project through to completion. Needs constant supervision.

After we fired him on Aug 9th it went from bad to worse. He called 911 on us, convinced his sub contractors to harass us, filed an improper mechanic lien, and had his subs also file improper mechanic liens. We have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to not only finish our project but to to go through the courts and bond system to remove those liens.
