I would highly recommend this company; from what I remember they normally and primarily do commercial work but occasionally throw in residential work. It's a hit or miss whether whey will do your residential job. But with that being said, we are still satisfied with the quality of the work and still get compliments to this day. Turns out we have some really odd connections... nice connections... but the kind where you are like, wow, maybe this was supposed to be. Jennifer was VERY prompt and called me the next day to say she was in the area if I wanted her to stop by and measure the driveway. I saw where someone said they got a military discount. I didn't know about the military discount, my whole family including me are military, but it wasn't mentioned. However, because we were flexible enough to work around their schedule and when there were in the neighborhood, she said they could give us a discount. It did take a couple of weeks to get it scheduled b/c I had to find financing and then I really needed that price break, so I was trying to work with their schedule. But Jennifer was great and kept in touch checking on me throughout the following weeks for when I was able to secure the funds. To sum it up, Driveways is a family owned and operated company with Jennifer, her dad, and her brother all there on the day they laid the driveway. I called them out to look at the fact that their work was substandard and to point out the issues. The "foreman" (Dennis) said to me, after not being able to explain the issue, "well you signed the contract!" They put down some "compact dirt" and I never heard from them again. I have flooding and apparently zero drainage. I WOULD NOT trust them with a potted plant. If anyone wants to take a look at their work in my backyard, let me know - it speaks for itself! Business Owner Response: Yes, I did say that at that time and Dennis also said that they would follow-up after "adding compressed dirt." After his dismissive comment when I asked your company to look at what was not corrected, which your quality assurance person witnessed, that did not leave me with a feeling that anything would be done if I initiated contact again. You are free to come and see what it is going on now. Yes it was done in 2021 and we have been dealing with it ever since. We spend a huge amount of money and went by guarantees that Denis himself made about how this would all be fixed and it is obviously not. Everything was explained to him when he did the estimate, nothing changed but when he did the work and I brought the issue to his attention rather than addressing the issue, the response was, "well you signed the contract." I am happy to discuss further, if you would like. To be clear, I did not wait "almost two years:" your foreman and "quality" person came out shortly after the work was done. Your Foreman was very unprofessional and dismissive with his "you signed the contract" comment. That does not give the impression that you are concerned with trying to correct anything. The worker who did the work had an attitude from the start. The sub contractors they sent did not do what Fletcher had proposed and then wanted more money. They made us sign a Change Order to cover work that was already supposed to be covered (Replacing Subfloor) Then charged us $160 each for four sheets of floor underlayment. (Less than $50 sheet at Lowes) Water overflowed and damaged kitchen ceiling (another sub to fix) Installed Medicine cabinet that would not open due to hitting sink faucet. Construction debris sat in driveway for 3 weeks. Dismal Project Management, awful communication, HIGH Price. Dont use Fletcher !
