    Chicken and potatoes

Amazing chicken and prices. Came into town and checked this place out, the owner Mike was super accommodating and kind. Would highly recommend this place and love how it's a family owned restaurant.

    Top chicken, bottom walleye.

Solid, chicken n walleye were the Mashed potatoes were covered in gravy and they were really good. They put chicken in the gravy. Not too expensive either. Solid price

Best fried chicken in town!!! During our first visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. They treated us like family and served us with great hospitality. Had a great experience with good people and even better food.

The take out box is deeper than typical.

If their motto is "grease is good" they they succeed. Fried foods is what this place does best.

Family friendly, good service, and the usual kitsch decorations. I ordered their Cinnamon Roll Pancake. I asked the waitress how large they were - they were LARGE, so I only ordered one. Good call. My wife had their veggie omelet, which came with tomato, onion, green pepper and mushrooms. It came with hash browns and toast. I ordered a side of sausage patties. The sausage patty was large too - it looked like a hamburger (but obviously wasn't). The Cinnamon Roll Pancake was exactly as described - the waitress offered to bring out maple syrup, but said most people didn't use it so I passed on that (and didn't need it). My wife enjoyed her omelet. I had a root beer (I know, but it was lunch time in my weak defense) and my wife went with the coffee. She said she didn't like the coffee - she isn't one who goes for the fancy coffee - we don't have a Keurig or Nespresso machine - just a plain old Mr. Coffee Jr at home, and if she didn't like the coffee, that says something to me. Service was very prompt from the moment we were greeted at the door until we left. The mens room was clean. The deodorizer in the urinal needed to be changed - it was completely exhausted.

Clean small town bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff and great food. My Philly was tasty and was super impressed with the size of mom's fish sandwich. Better value than other similar places. Only one suggestion and that's me just being picky. I wish the deep fried green pepper rings were cut a little thicker. will 100% go back again!

But I went just the same. This is decor wise, a simple bar. Tables are available, and a separate room is to what I think was the south (left side as you enter). There were slot machines along the wall and the the room to the south. The mens room was nice and clean, and had good water pressure. No bad smells! I ordered lunch. After asking what was good - the menu was pretty extensive and had a bunch of options, I kept remembering the chicken reviews, so I went with the chicken fingers and fries. The Root Beer soft drink server was down for maintenance, so I ended up with a lemonade. The chicken fingers didn't disappoint. They were served fresh from the fryer, and somehow held the heat quite well - better than the usual fast food fare. I agree, the breading was out of this world in terms of lightness - it was very good, and the chicken tasted fresh and good. I found the fries to be good as well. The Cole slaw could have used something more - it was a bit on the bland side. Give yourself some time, take the drive, and try the place out. The server was quite pleasant. Keep in mind, there is a 3% upcharge if you use a credit card, which isn't unusual.

When you walk in, you get a kind of sports bar / restaurant vibe. We were greeted and seated quickly, and started looking at the menu. There were sooooo many good things available - I decided to get their Chicken Fingers and Pulled Pork combo. My wife just got the chicken fingers. We started with an order of cheese curds. There were only two of us, and this was an order big enough for four. We toughed it out - the cheese was mozzrella with a very light batter, kind of tempura. The cheese curds were served with ranch dressing, and were fresh out of the fryer. The main courses came later, and when I saw my plate, I thought - DANG - I should have just ordered this for both of us. It was big enough to feed two people - large portions (full portion) of chicken fingers, full portion (6 ounces) of pulled pork, and a large portion of fries. The chicken fingers came with a creamy sauce for dipping - I liked it, my wife wasn't a fan. No worries, I used hers. Service was very good, the food was excellent, and they kept the glasses full. There is outdoor seating so you can be out looking at the sun, and they even have a shaded section. We'll be back - it was good.
