The other two in my party shared a steak, which our server was super gracious and accommodating about, even offering to split it in the kitchen and present it on two plates instead of making us cut it in half on arrival. It is rich melted cheese with chorizo served with tortillas. My other favorite appetizer is Cecina de Venado which is a sort of venison jerky. Don't expect the tough jerky you get at gas stations. No, this venison jerky is full of flavor and isn't completely dry. For the main meal I order the Parrilladas. Which comes with several sides. First is a cup of caldo de res, which is a beef stock soup. A salad, chips, salsa, a quesidilla and a bowl for pickled carrots, potatoes, onions and liver. The meat comes served on a hibachi like grill, still cooking the meat. You can choose three different meat combinations. The original which is ribs, carne asada and tripes. Next is the Silvestre which is venison, quail and goat. Lastly is the Vaquero which is sirloin, chicken breast and chorizo. The quail was spiced to mellow out the gamey flavor. It was excellent. For dessert, I ate a coyota, a sugar cookie filled with a brown sugar mixture. This is not like an American sugar cookie as a coyota is not that sweet. On hot days, I get a lime michelada with Sol and is light and refreshing. So if you want a real cowboy experience I highly recommend this restaurant. The decor is John Wayne, John Wayne and taxidermy. The waitors are fantastic. They brought me a chair without arms so that my rear wasn't squeezed into the regular chairs.

We walked in, and we were sat on the first floor. I ordered steak, medium, as did the girlfriend. Our sides were garden salad, and cheese fondue. I ordered some coffee and lemonade on mineral water, which were both okay. Our dessert was an order of empanadas. I liked the beef empanadas the best, followed by the ones with cheese. Personally, I prefer the parillada over the individual steak plate, but both hit the spot well. This is a decent Argentinian grill in the city of Rosarito. Come check them out.

The fire pit- asador is in the clear view, watching the grill master was an added treat to the dining. The asado tradicional is meant for two but there was plenty of food that finishes cooking at table side. Our extras included a baked potato, green salad, a beef empanada and a chorioan. The pacing of the food was well calculated and the bottle of magoni, Cabernet- Malbec from one of our favorite wineries fave it a special touch. Price is worth it! You need to drive south on the street half way down the block. The truck is actually a VW Bus converted to a food truck. Cool look and a bucket list style food destination. The Hot Dogs: I had both kinds. The Mex (4*)which has avocado and grilled onions. Was very good. The Bread was flavorful, chewy, and dense. The hot dog tasted great, unorthodox style as if a Polish dog was cut down the middle and fried on a flat grill. Crisp outer texture and clearly a good quality pork dog. They have chicken but went with the pork. I liked it. Second dog: (5*) Same flavorful bread and hot dog. Mushrooms and a chipotle sauce. This dog was EPIC. The flavor and consistency was excellent from start to finish! I totally recommend this dog, slightly better than the MEX dog. French Fries: these potatoes are like homemade steak Fries. Pre baked or boiled then cut and fried. Thick and hearty with some crisp, salt and pepper. Pretty good but better fresh. I had to take mine to go so I don't blame them for not being super crisp due to the steam in the Styrofoam to go tray. They serve Hamburgers but went for the Dogs. Bring cash. Go there, expect a good Hot Dog. Eat, repeat!
