The one with shredded beef had very tasty beef, but suffered, as did the house special variety, from a lack of flavor overall. Both dishes were just quite bland in the same way, and lacked any excitement of flavors. We didn't finish them, and opted not to take the leftovers. Beverages: I ordered a mezcalita, having had an excellent one at Telefonico a couple of weeks prior, and hoping to have something similar. Instead of a smaller cocktail with a kick, this was extremely watery and had a commercial taste to it. I didn't finish this either. I only had food from one of the places, so can't judge the rest, but I don't see myself going back. Bland food from one and a miserable drink from another don't suggest good odds.

Our son loved his quesadillas as well. And if you don't know us, my wife is born and raised in Baja California, Mexico so she knows good birria! One of the guys there (the son in law) speaks fluent English so fear not fellow gringo!
