The BBQ brisket pizza is easily my favorite, but it's unfortunately not a regular menu item. In 2022, Johnny Z's collaborated with Bad Brad's BBQ for the brisket pizza. In 2024 and 2025, Johnny Z's brought it back, collaborating with Full Rack Barbecue instead. I've also tried the cheese bread and the boneless wings. I've had the cheese bread twice now, and it's about what you'd expect it to be. I will say, the first time I had it was better than the second. I recommend getting the garlic butter dip. As for the wings, they were just okay, but I'd be willing to give them another try. All things considered, Johnny Z's is a solid, local pizza place, and is better than your typical pizza chain.

The inside was exactly what you'd expect from a neighborhood pizza place -- clean, simple, and the staff were friendly. Our carryout order was ready quickly, and the pizza itself looked beautiful when we opened the box. We ordered the white pizza. The crust was excellent and had great flavor, and we really enjoyed the garlic on it. Unfortunately, aside from the crust and garlic, the pizza itself felt a bit bland overall. My husband ended up adding pepper and I added hot sauce just to give it a little more flavor. If we were to try it again, I think adding jalapeños might help bring some extra flavor to the white pizza. My husband, however, wasn't convinced he would order the pizza again. Overall, we'd still be open to trying other items on the menu, but the white pizza didn't quite live up to our expectations.

The staff was so nice and gave me suggestions on what to try. The service was excellent. For sandwiches, we tried the Italian and prosciutto. The meats were really good. Unfortunately, the oil and herbs wasn't on my husband's sub, and I think they accidentally put mild peppers instead of hot. 3/5 I learned you come here for the baked goods!!!!
