This continues to be our car wash of choice. We opt to make a monthly payment to cover as many washes and the use of all their cleaners and vacuums, etc., that we would like to do every month. The team members outside are always very polite and helpful. They help me get my wheels lined up in the track. Then they scrub down the windshield front and back manually to get things going. For $39.95 a month you get their Premier services which not only washes your car but adds special coatings and water repellent and a huge drying system. That generally works pretty well. Once through that part of the car wash, you're welcome to drive around into one of their stones and they have products to shine your wheels, overall cleaning products, and fragrance products if you would like your car to smell good. It's a one stop shop and I like that concept. They are located in Leander , west Old Hwy 183 and Hero Way. We feel it's a great value for the cost and we enjoy the products they provide to detail the car ourselves. If you live in the area, consider giving them a try!! read more

I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have five stars. I've been coming here since they first opened, and they consistently deliver exactly what you want from a car wash: quick service, clean results, well-stocked vacuums, and a friendly team. The owners are often onsite and even take time to say hello -- they're involved, supportive of their staff, and you can tell they care about both the business and their customers. The young employees they hire are always polite and hardworking too. I've had a membership from the start, and while I understand some reviews mentioning cost, I think the pricing is very reasonable for what you get. The equipment is modern, well-maintained, and it shows in the results. If you want an efficient wash, good service, and a locally-run spot doing things right, this is the place. Stopped by BB Shine's recently after a drive home from the beach... let's just say the butterflies were migrating and the front of my vehicle was covered! The staff did a good job of scrubbing down the front of my vehicle before I entered the wash... The wash tunnel was good, and my vehicle scooted right along. After exiting the wash tunnel, I pulled aside and took advantage of BB Shine's complimentary cleaning towels and sprays. What was left of the butterflies came off easily, the vacuum took care of the left-over sand! I left in a very shiny, clean vehicle. I wanted to give a shout out to this place! This past Wednesday, I drove up to get a car wash and immediately realized I had forgotten my purse at home! The very nice guy came out to ask me if I needed help and when I told him that I had forgotten my purse and before I was going to let him know that I will try to back out or how should I get out of line, he said "No worries, you can have a complimentary wash!" I am like, oh my goodness, thank you! I didn't expect that at all and I really appreciated the kindness and understanding! I will definitely keep coming back to this car wash! Excellent brand-new (as of early 2021) car wash on Hero Way in Leander. The spinning brushes and rainbow-colored soaps do a great job, the sprayers even got my tires clean! Appreciated the fast, friendly service and especially the easy to use vacuums available afterwards to clean the inside of the car. Definitely going to return here when my automobile starts looking more like a mud league go-cart instead of a car. :-) read more

I will start this update by saying that I've been coming here for a long time now and rarely if ever have issues with the service. But today was unacceptable for both the wash and customer service. I normally get the $20 wash package because it's a good deal for everything I need. Recently I've been getting the $10 wash because it's a really good wash to just get the gunk off and keep going when I don't have time to do anything else. Today however, my car needed a little more so I met in the middle with the $17 package. The first time I went through I requested they pay special attention to getting the bugs off the front of the car and the guy said okay. However, before they really had a chance to do anything my car was already going through the wash conveyer. I immediately came out of the wash and circled back around because I knew my car wasn't clean. There was still bug stuff on my windshield. I notified them why I was going through a second time and Tye, who was in the office, let the wash preparers know what happened. Again, they still barely touched my vehicle and I asked them to stop the machine. I reiterated that I needed them to actually scrub a bit to get the bugs off, etc. The guy said it looks pretty clean to him and he didn't see anything. I pointed to the bug stuff on the windshield as an example. Once more, the guys barely touched my car and put me through the wash conveyer again. Upon taking my car to the drying area I saw that there was still bug residue all over the front of my car and windshield, my tires were still dirty and there were other areas that were not clean. I was super frustrated because now I had to spend extra time trying to use the sprays and get the dirt, etc. off my car. Tye just so happened to come over to grab dirty towels and I pointed out to him how my car still had bugs on it. The conversation with Tye was disappointing -- "We can only scrub so much because we don't want to damage your car. I've scrubbed and scrubbed before and it hasn't done much to get things off. I know how I wash cars before they go through but I don't know about what the other guys do. I can't really do anything because I'm just an associate as well." Stop giving a bunch of excuses and give solutions. At the very least, send me to the manager if you can't help me! I told him thanks, I'll make a note of the fact he can't help and he walked away. As I began to clean, I got more and more upset because this was not the type of service I've been used to since coming here. About a month ago, I watched the owners preparing the cars to go through the wash conveyer. I sat behind a huge truck that was FILTHY. They sprayed and washed on it for at least 5-7 minutes before putting it through the wash. Someone behind me blew their horn and I got mad, because I was witnessing excellent customer service and that cannot be rushed. If I could've gotten even half of this type of service from the 4 young men that were working today I would not be writing this review. I gave them 3 chances to get it right and they could not rise to the occasion so I asked the manager for a refund. He had to call another manager to let them know why. So that's 5 people that were informed of my poor experience today. I hope they learn from it. All of the other car washes around town are horrible. BB's has been great. I would hate for a really great business to go downhill. read more

I went to get the kids today, and my car was crusted with dirt because of the storm last night. I'm not sure what's up with the weather but the dirt crusts need to just go. At any rate, I decided to go get a car wash, and I took the kiddos with me to BB Shine's, because I've never been there before. Firstly, let me start off with how nice the staff is. They are considerate, they explain things like what "Ceramic" is. Turns out that's what keeps the crusties off the car. Who knew? Honestly, they are considerate, hard-working, and wonderful. One of the gentlemen was extra kind to my son with the towels, and that's always aces with me. And then they helped me get in the bay. This brings me to my only criticism of BB Shines. The only reason this is not a 5-star review is the tire conveyer belt thing. I hate that thing. It wrecked my tires on a previous vehicle when I used to go to another place, and I just can't stand it. But that's more on the choice of whoever built the car wash. Aside from 2 other car washes near here, I've never seen a big wash like this go without it. Still, I really dislike that tire conveyor thing. Anyway back to the good points. I loved was the wash was detailed. Everything got cleaned, top to bottom, the soaps were great, I didn't sneeze so it wasn't too harsh of a chemical either. I liked that the dryer is amazing as well. When we pulled into the bay, the vacuums worked great, there's a big trash can for your garbage, and the staff keeps an eye on the towels. The cleaners and scents are available if you want them. Also, the air gun works great. And probably the best part is the mat table with the clip on it to let you vacuum the mats properly. I loved that. Overall, this was a fantastic wash. I may be back (again, that tire thing). I haven't decided yet. If you don't mind the tire thing, and you are good with a tad more expensive per wash (I paid for a single wash), then this may be your wash of choice. read more

Great local car wash here in Leander! My car was in desperate need of a cleaning, and this location is minutes from my house. Glad I stopped in! Car wash was quick and easy, staff was super friendly, and there are plenty of extra amenities that you can use to clean your car. The vacuums were great! Plenty of suction, and they've got 2 different sized wands you can use. They also have a wide selection of cleaning supplies like Bug Spray, Glass Cleaner, All Purpose Cleaner, and a fragrance cleaner for your car. One of my favorite things they had was an automated system to wash your floor mats, and a spot to hang your floor mats to vacuum them. Genius! By far the best car wash I've been to in the area. The staff is really nice here and I love all the kids extra amenities like the floor mat cleaner and spray cleaning bottles. I always love leaving here with my car smelling clean inside and out. The staff is always patient when helping customers line up their wheels on the conveyor belt, and they keep the covered cleaning areas on point. I just wish they offered a place to fill up water bottles out near the self cleaning area, especially after ferociously cleaning my car in this heat. Other than that this place is great. read more

This was my first time visiting 12/13/2021 and I am very impressed. Everything was neat and organized. The young man with the long blond and curly hair was very helpful. The owner was extremely nice and helpful also. The owner made me feel so welcomed. I have a membership and cannot wait to continue coming to this place. I highly recommend. I love it here Oh and the vacuums work really well. Everything is free to use with no time limit. They have a mat cleaner and dryer. They have 4 different sprays for your car; glass cleaner, regular cleaner, freshener, and bug cleaner. The car was was really nice. Got an invitation coupon from this new carwash place in Leander just around the corner from where I live. Love to support local businesses and thought I'd give it a try today. Can't be happier! They have state of the art drive thru wash, high power vacuum and air pressure sprayer to dry water and get rid of leafs from your car nooks & crannies. Plus they have all cleaning solutions and clean microfiber towel ready to use. I run my floor mats thru their state of the art washer-dryer machine and they come out looking so fresh & clean. The best part is their friendly staff. Couple of gentlemen that might be the owners were very hands-on to explain and make sure everything was smooth. This will be my new favorite carwash place and I'd be happy to say good bye to Mister Carwash. After all their quality has gone downhill for awhile now. Went today was completely disappointing. In the last 6 months it's gone down. The wash missed spots and the once awesome vacuums are terrible now. They definitely aren't kept up with. The vacuum on both...I went to grab it and the hose fell to the ground! I could reattach it if I wanted to hold it the whole time! Nope left and went to the Wash N Roll down the street and came out much happier. Go there it's better and you'll be glad you did. read more

I had a very good experience here. Like many other car washes, they have a membership. It seems like a good deal regardless of which level you purchase. The car wash itself worked really well, but that's not the reason this location gets 5 stars. The self service stations are awesome. Multiple vacuums, clean microfiber towels, an array of products for every part of cleaning your car, a place to clean your mats, a machine you feed your mats into and it washed and drys them, and a blow hose to blow water out of cracks (I also used it to blow dust out of my cup holders). I'm really only going out of my way to right this review because the staff was super awesome. Multiple times I was greeted by staff and they were friendly and thanked me for my business; even though there was a line of cars around the building. read more

I took my Tacoma to BB Shine today 5 days after driving on muddy, rural roads. The wheel wells, the wheels and the running boards were caked with mud and it had dried rock hard. The gentlemen at the start of the wash tunnel spent 5 minutes cleaning the mud off. There is a timer on the console near the entrance. Once they were satisfied, they released the vehicle to travel through the car wash. Not a spec of mud was in the truck when finished. BB Shine's changed my mind about automatic car washes! read more

Excellent car wash! Just moved to Austin and was looking for somewhere safe for my car's paint. The car wash is brand new!

By far the best automated car wash locally. The vacuums were great! They give you cleaning supplies like Bug Spray, Glass Cleaner, All Purpose and Fragrance Cleaner with microfiber towels. You don't normally see that level of supplies and it was much appreciated. Most places over time forget to re-fill cleaning supplies and cleaning rags get dingy and never replaced. If BBs can keep that level of service then I've found my new go to spot. read more
