We stopped while along our trip to the north shore. Our first time having white pineapple here in Kauai and then we saw the sign for white pineapple ice cream and we new we had to try it! It was so delicious.

Great food and wonderful service! The pineapple ice cream (vegan/dairy free) is a must try. The burgers were good and all the bread is homemade sourdough.

My daughter and I stopped by for a treat and at the right time. The owner, Kevin was about to start making some pineapple ice cream. My daughter got to watch him make it. It is enough to serve two people, but she ended up eating most of it. It is a must try!! Will definitely be back for more.

Stopped here today and chatted with Kevin - had The Cruz on sourdough and the amazing frozen pineapple - a beautiful, blended fresh pineapple frozen treat. Laid back vibe right off the bike path by ocean. Look for this gem!

Great fresh food, super friendly owner. We visited this food truck in Kapa'a. The sandwiches were served on fresh and delicious sour dough bread. The cruise sandwich was delicious. Wow not only was the burger amazing but the owner was a perfect 10! We weren't even going to eat here but after all his advice and recommendations for even other food spots we wanted to support his business and so glad we did! I'm not even a burger person but the candied bacon avocado spread he made us and juicy burger had me! Thanks again to owner for being so real and down to earth!! Met the owner (sorry never caught his name!) on a whim and decided to give Bb's a go! Came for lunch and had the chicken salad and chicken club sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious and you can't beat the views near the beach. My husband and I both agreed they were one of the best sandwiches we have ever had! The owner was kind enough to give us a list of things to see while on Kauai. Came back another day for white pineapple ice cream which was so refreshing on a hot day! read more

Walked around all the food trucks in the area and so happy I landed on ordering from BBs. Ordered the BLT and the chicken salad sandwich (Sweet Caroline). Had half of each as I split them with my gf so we can taste more food, like we do everywhere we go :). All I can say is that that was 3 weeks ago and we were in HI (3 different islands) for 2 weeks and somehow out of all the places we went this little food truck, sandwiches none the less, placed in the top 5, maybe top 3, places we ate the during the full 2 weeks. In fact tonight we are going to try to recreate the chicken salad sandwich back at home. I believe the owners name was Kevin and he was super friendly, recommended some places for us to take the kids and play on the island and also doesn't sell anything plastic (bottled waters). First time on the island and I was expecting way less plastic. Anyways... eat there. Maybe do it early in your trip so you'll have time to go multiple times after realizing you've found a hidden gem. read more

Meeting Kevin who is just about the friendliest guy we've met on the island delivers pretty darn good grub and it's packed with fresh flavors. I couldn't believe how good the avocado deluxe sandwich was but I certainly devoured it within minutes. And the unique pineapple dessert was quite the island treat! I would find an excuse to just come by again for food and delightful banter with Kevin. He was so kind to our family and great with kiddos. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Saw a sign from the road for White Pineapple Ice Cream and pulled off just to try that. If you haven't had it white pineapple is the most amazing treat and you cannot get it on the mainland. Very happy we decided to try their food also. We initially tried their burger and club sandwich. Both were outstanding. They use home grown avocados and candied bacon... out of this world!!! Even the bread was a cut above normal. We then decided to try the avocado toast which was a phenomenal, farm to table dish. The owner REALLY wanted us to enjoy the food and went out of his way to make sure we did. Not your average food truck experience. Honestly, the place was much better than most any brick and mortar restaurant to. I'll definitely return! read more

I'm a foodie and a dedicated home cook and honestly I am pretty darn picky about eating out. Often after eating out I'll feel yucky and so I am always trying to pick a place that looks fresh as hell. And that is definitely what I got here!! The chicken salad sandwich was super tasty on freshly baked sourdough (super good 10/10). I also got some strawberry lemonade popsicles for my kids and they were seriously amazing. Probably some of the best popsicles I've ever had. Also the owner gave some tips for outings for the kids. Super nice person and the setup is adorable right by the beach. read more

Oh my god!!! That chicken club is out of this world!!! All of the sandwiches are made with love and care, and can we talk about that vegan ice cream for a minute? How can you make pineapple ice cream taste so amazing without adding milk and sugar to it? But by Jove, you have found a way to do so!!! If I could buy a tub of that, I would!!! Second, candied bacon? Can we get that one everything as well??? How can you make bacon taste even better than it already does??? The answer is, you'll just have to ask the owners because it's just a magical experience!!! Speaking of which, the Owners are super welcoming and laid back, it's like they are inviting you to their house for a meal. Just an all around welcoming and amazing delicious food experience. This is the first meal we had on Kauai and we will be returning! The food was all really fresh and delicious. We had the burgers, the chicken club, the loaded avocado toast and the white pineapple ice cream. Everything was amazing. The candied bacon was a treat and the avocado was super fresh, right off his tree. The sourdough bread tasted homemade and the pineapple ice cream was a must try! read more

The extra patty takes it to another level and is well worth it. The fries are hot and crispy and go great with the sauce. If you're a burger lover visiting Kauai, or just need to kau kau after a surf in Hanalei this spot should be on your list. Simple, delicious, and easily the best burger I had on the island. The Kalua pork was so tender, mouthwatering and moist, served shredded over bao buns (Chef Carla says she gets them made on Oahu), sliced onions, carrots, cabbage and cilantro with some secret sauce - it was superbs steaming hot and perfectly sized to eat at the beach. The shave ice with cream was just the right size and sweetness. Ask for as many syrups as you want to put over the whole thing. Ask for cream ( Milk) over the hwole desert/drink. It was awesome and freshly made. I could really tell the differences in the flavors of the syrups. We got comped a whole heaping serving of chili - chili with cheese, sliced up hot dogs over tortilla chips, and everything was generously covered with this.
