Apparently, redeeming tickets requires a staff member, and staff members were in short supply, much like the joy in the room at that moment. He is now a sad birthday boy with unredeemed tickets and a hole in his heart where a finger trap should be. The arcade machines slap, the blue LED displays are immaculate, and the "Play Like a Pro" machine genuinely made my husband feel like an athlete for 4 minutes. The building is great for bowling, which is $32 an hour and shoe rental is $6 per person for VERY worn down shoes/laces. A party of 4 will pay $25 and change for shoe rental that was uncomfortable for two out of the four of us. I would recommend bringing your own bowling shoes.
