This is my boyfriend and I's go to spot for fried chicken. We often place large orders for our family gatherings. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly. She checked on us often and made sure our drinks were never empty. We decided to do the soju+beer after 7pm deal for complimentary ramen. The music was great and there were a few tables for a weekday evening.

Dropped in to pick up some food to watch Nuggets game 3 vs. OKC at a near by brewery. This was a low lit eatery, that we didn't know was open. There was only 4 people inside probably because of the NBA playoff game. They have 4 huge tables so thos would be a great place to watch any game. Our order was the Spicy Galbi Wings & Kimchi Fried Rice. It is quiet pricy for Korean Fried Chicken compared to the other Korean Fried Chicken places I've been to in Colorado or around the US in general. We got the 9 Spicy Galbi Wings ($18). The sauce was a nice mix of spicy & sweet, good flavor but the chi Ken was really soggy for Korean Fried Chicken[KFC]. Yes I've had KFC w/ sauce on it before and the chicken was still crunchy & crispy at other places. You can really tell the sauces make the chicken. The plain chicken is not really seasoned. Next was the Kimchi Fried Rice($14). This was our favorite dish. This had great flavors. This was worth the price. Everytime I come I will be I ordering this. I just wish they had the egg runny more, the yolk was over cooked for typical Kimchi Fried Rice. One day I will stop back in here for a game and try their tap list and it looks like they had Soju and other Korean Alcoholic beverages.

Delicious wings. Big restaurant, actually perfect to go and watch sport games. We loved the sweet potatoes fries as well!

My first time visit with group of four. It was early part of the evening and we were the first to arrive. Huge restaurant, very clean and inviting. After we were seated, young lady in charge of the counter brought us the menu and took our drink order. Since it was our first time, we were asking lot of questions and ended up ordering whole chicken and also large order of wings. Also got the rice cake dish called ddekbokki. The food came out pretty quick. They were all very flavorful and texture, very crispy while juicy inside. Fries were salty and that is the way I liked it. I was worried bit about the spicy level but it was manageable and had great flavor. Our waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. We will definitely do a repeat visit.

Original Fried Chicken with a side of baby

Stopped by this bb.q Chicken location with a friend (and my baby) for lunch. We both ordered off the lunch special menu which comes with chicken, fries, and a soda. I got the original fried chicken so I could share with the baby but it still had a spicy kick to it so I ended up ordering a side of fried dumplings for him (and upgrading to sweet potato fries). I love Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) and bb.q certainly did not disappoint. I especially loved the crispy outside of the original, which was quite flavorful and juicy (even without sauce). I also got an order of hot spicy to go (for my husband) and it was quite saucy (so lacked the crispiness that I love). Overall, bb.q is great, but it's pricey ($2 per wing/piece)... so wouldn't be able to justify eating here often.

If you need a break from the mall and are looking for good food, this is your place to re-fuel after getting your shop on. They have several different flavors of chicken wings and spice levels. The Galbi I got was really good. The rose Ddeok-bokki was also delicious. The service was top notch. The inside was clean and the robot food delivery was cool too. Parking was not a hassle. This place gets an A for great food and service.

Had a craving for Korean fried chicken, but was not inclined to drive to Wing Wok (even though I LOVE their chicken), so decided to stop by and try this place, which is very close to home! Walked in, and it's a pleasant, clean space. I was immediately greeted by a charming and friendly young man. I said that I'd like to place a takeout order, and we discussed the menu a bit, as I said I hadn't been here before. I decided on a 9-piece order of boneless chicken. Debated the fries. Nice guy said they were okay, lol. He's not a fry person. There's a wide variety of sauces, but I wasn't in the mood for spicy, because I burned my lip a couple of days ago. I decided on the the Secret Sauce. Another friendly man behind the counter said that it was basically a sweet and sour sauce, and that some people love it, some people hate it. He suggested that I get it on the side, so I did. I ordered the Golden Original. I sat at a table to read a book while I waited, and the charming young man brought me a glass of water. While at the table, I checked in on Yelp, and lo and behold, there's a free order of fries! I laughed and went up to the counter. I did get the fries. The chicken is GREAT!! Slightly thick batter, very crunchy. Yummy, delicious, craveable boneless chicken. I liked the sauce. It didn't really remind me of sweet and sour sauce. It was both tangy and sweet, nicely balanced, IMO. The fries, though...meh. Not bad, definitely not great. Undercooked. Lightly salted, which was great. Not worth the calories, tbh. Definitely nowhere close to the Nathan's gold standard, or Shake Shack, or Pat's Cheesesteaks, or S-Turn, etc. Although the cheeseleh or whatever do sound good. It's not inexpensive. A nine-piece order was about $21. But the pieces are a good size, not little nuggets, but not tenders, either. They also have an 18-piece, and you can get a whole chicken with bones, if you like chicken with bones. I'm not a fan, personally. Will always choose boneless. I'm glad that they have this option. They also have kimchi and pasta. Will definitely return :)

We had a late lunch on a very cold Saturday afternoon. We were greeted immediately and given a table. We had the French Fries, along with the Galbi and Honey Garlic Boneless Wings. The wings were great - much better than some other Korean BBQ places. They also seemed to have some technology that reminded of a place back in Texas where you raised a flag when you needed service. (It seemed to work somewhat - when I pressed the Pay button the server though went to the other table first.) The table and fork seemed a little sticky, maybe they should check those before seating customers. The server had to step out for about 60 - 90 seconds. I guess the door automatically locks so he propped it open. I am guessing his parents never told him they were not trying to heat outside - it was a rather cold day in Colorado, I think we got up to about 0°, maybe 1°F. The cold air coming in was not really appreciated by us. All in all, we might try again when they are a bit busier. Hopefully service might be a bit better, matching the full flavors of the food. And maybe a knife as well to help slice the tasty wings.

Can you really not get two different sauces for one order of wings?? Even a large order??? Our waiter told us we'd be charged for two medium orders instead of a large if we wanted two sauces. It seems ridiculous to pay $6 just to get two sauces...

Hi Megan, thank you for sharing your feedback. Unfortunately, due to our company’s policy, the Half & Half Chicken is available in select flavors: Golden Original, Secret Sauce, and Hot Spicy. We received several requests asking for a flavor mix… Read more

this may have been the best short rib of my life,,,thank god you have another location,,,san diego…read morewill be seeing me when we ordered, i thought things were a bit expensive. however when the dish came out, i realized it had MASSSSSSSIVEEE chunks of meat on even larger bones. the sauce was sweet, not to an unbalanced profile, but it complemented the spice and savoriness of the meat. i floated after the first bite wow it was really tender as well. i appreciate the tongs, scissors, and glove that the gave us too! it helped with eating the whole thing. i kid you not this was some of the best banchan ive had too. the kimchi had a great slight fishiness, not too tart which is perfect for me. both the radish and kimchi had the freshest crunch that is sometimes hard to come by. usually i'm used to more variety but the flavors and textures of these two. the spicy brisket stew was delicious!! reminded me of mama instant noodle taste which i love. i wish there were more glass noodles but there was soooooo much brisket that substituted my craving well. the tteokbokki was probably the most underwhelming dish. i think for $10, the portion is tiny and the sauce is just mild and a big thinner than im used to. the tteok itself was a good texture, but the short rib dish had tteok too which was swimming in that heavenly sauce. we just ended up mixing the tteok and short rib dish to create the best of both worlds. i love how they package their to go containers too - airtight fast service and kind owners

We got the classic soondae soup with bone broth and spicy soondae soup, both without intestines. The soondae was very chewy and the classic broth was on the lighter side. I added some pepper and spicy chili paste for added flavor. It tasted great with the kimchi and pickled radishes. The spicy broth definitely had a kick to it and had lots of pepper flakes inside. They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.
